This is a nicely redone condo. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay except the beds, which slept hot due to the vinyl mattress cover. Please remove those.

Property was great, may think about a new coffee maker. Issue with smoke detector, had to be replaced and we lost a day on the beach waiting for maintenance, but Garden City made a refund for the inconvenience.

For the most part it was good. Great location, very nice condo. We had a few minor issues. The dryer put black grease like stains on some of our clothes, the toilet in the master kept running and was called on, they came but never fixed it during our stay so we had to keep turning the water off on the toilet after use and lastly the last night we were there, the smoke alarm kept beeping due to low battery or something.

We love the Garden City area and the entire South Strand. Our condo unit was fantastic and close by many of our favorite spots including Murrells Inlet and Huntington Beach State Park. Awesome reastaraunts and watering holes are also nearby.

The PERFECT place to stay!
I stayed in Garden city every year pretty much since I was a child. I’ve stayed at Surfmaster on multiple occasions in the last 10 years with my children and absolutely love it. You can’t get a better location than on the beach! My most recent stay was in May, and myself and my family stayed in unit 805, which has been my most favorite unit in Surfmaster yet! The unit is totally updated and perfectly decorated, given the unit a very relaxed vibe. The unit had all the kitchen appliances, dishes, and cookware you could possibly need. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful vacation, the unit was clean and the beds comfy! Plenty of books to read ! If you have younger children or like to play games or cards you will need to bring your own . Great location, we have vacationed at Surf Master for many years and love the location and the view!

This was our first trip to Garden City, and Surfmaster was an excellent choice. Our condo was great in all aspects - clean, spacious, well equipped, and an amazing view. We had family in 3 other units, and they all had a great time also. We will definitely consider Surfmaster 805 for a future stay.

Beach was beautiful but very crowded. Only problem we were texted our unit was ready but our code wouldn't work and that took 45 minutes to straighten out. Also no luggage racks when checking out.

It is a beautiful condo, loved the open floor layout! Gorgeous view from living room balcony as well as the bedroom! Everything you need is right there at you, no need to travel all over the place! We stayed right there and walked to dinner at night and the grocery store is not even a mile away! The Garden City Pier is a little to far for us to walk but a very short drive! Rest and relaxation was amazing! Very clean! When you get off the elevator you are right at the gateway to jacuzzi and pool, right to the sand and the beach! Love that they have extra security methods for access to the place, along with key passes for the pool area as well! We loved it so much we went ahead and booked it again for next year!!

Our condo was wonderful. Exactly what we needed! We had not been to the Myrtle Beach area for many years but very happy with our accommodations. It was clean, well stocked and beautifully decorated. Although the ocean was still cold we had a wonderful trip.

It was a great week in the cleanest room we have ever seen! The cleaning crew did a superb job! Check in was easier than we expected, and was before check in time, which we we're nervous about, with them being short staffed. No worries, though. It was great!

First time staying in Garden City and we loved it! Already planning next summers trip! The condo was perfect, the only hiccup I had was the glass elevator and outside walkways, as someone scared of heights, I would have liked to know that in advance. But other than that, I loved every minute!

We have stayed in the Surf Master or several years now and love it. We used to stay in Myrtle then went to North Myrtle and Garden City is by far the best! It's always clean, nice, and location is purfect!

We just returned from a vacation stay at Surfmaster unit 805. We stayed from May 22-29. This is a beautiful, spacious unit. Very comfortable seating in the living room and a nice big balcony. It was very clean when we arrived and a nice surprise was the new hard surface floor throughout instead of the carpet that is shown in the photos. The property management company was very responsive anytime we reached out prior with questions and when we arrived and needed batteries for one of the remotes they brought them up immediately. There is tons of storage in this unit and he kitchen is very well-equipped.
I would suggest bringing your own fitted sheets for the beds if you are picky. I’m used to very tight elastic all around the mattress. Rental sheets never seem to have quite enough elastic to hold them tightly but that’s just our preference.
The beach right in front of this building is so beautiful that we never even went in the pool. We rode our boogie boards every day. The ocean was 75°. This beach is not crowded and very quiet in the evening. We rented chairs and an umbrella for the week which was worth every penny. We never had a problem getting a parking spot either.

We were very pleased with the condo. When we arrived it was very clean. We cooked a lot and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The condo furniture was in good shape. Nice kitchen, master bedroom and master bathroom. Our only problem was with the other bathroom sliding doors. They came off the track but maintenance came right away and fixed it. I would love to stay there again. Great week! ��

Great area and great view. The condo wasn't spotless but it was the cleanest condo we have ever stayed in(this was our 7th year)and we would definitely stay here every year if the mattresses were replaced. I have never slept on a memory foam mattress before but now know that I do NOT sleep well on one.

I have always stayed in Myrtle Beach or North Myrtle Beach and have been coming to the area for 50+ years. This year we decided to stay in Garden City and I will never go back to Myrtle. We loved Garden City! The condo we had was absolutely perfect. It was decorated in a beach theme, it was a great location, and the people were all really nice.

Our stay at the Surf Master unit 805 was wonderful. The suite was newly renovated and well appointed. Nice master w beautiful furnishing. We spent quite a lot of time on the balcony in the mornings/evenings enjoying the balcony furniture. We will most definitely stay again. Also onsite GCR staff were so helpful and accommodating.

Loved the condo. Very newly decorated. Kitchen is beautiful and drawers and cabinets plentiful. Porch furniture is awesome. Very clean. A few things we didn't care for were the mattresses in both room. Seemed like memory foam and was very uncomfortable. I also thought there was a queen size bed in the 2nd room but it was a full size. The second bedroom in the room with full size bed had no dresser to put clothes in. They have a huge wall with shelves but no drawers. Closets had a total of 5 hangers. Luckily I've learned to bring my own. Only one night stand in bedroom with king bed. Everything else was perfect. If it wasn't for the beds and lack of dressers I would rent that unit again.

Condo was very comfortable. The kitchen was so nice and had everything we needed. The only negative comment we have is the king mattress in the master suite wasn’t very good. Could used replaced.

This unit is beautiful. This was our first visit to this unit. We have stayed in a different unit in the past but needed to change the time of year we were coming, so we decided to look at other units. The unit was clean and had everything you would need. Our only complaint was the bedding. Both the king and the queen has a memory foam mattress. It was very difficult to sleep on. My husband & I decided to sleep, on the sofa bed. That was better, but hard. We made the decision to leave early. The other couple stayed out this full week. We will be going back to the other unit. If you like memory foam mattresses then all is well. I would recommend this unit. It is close to the pier, which is one of our favorite places to go. Surfmaster is our favorite place to stay in Garden City.

My favorite unit got even better. New kitchen appliances and bedroom furniture is beautiful. This is third or fourth time we've stayed in this one; and I shouldn't even review it because it's already difficult to reserve, but it's the nicest, cleanest, best appointed and maintained two bedroom in the complex as far as I can tell.

i WAS A BIT DISAPPOINTED THAT WE DID NOT GET EXTRA TRASH BAGS, DISH SOAP, PAPER TOWELS, TOILET PAPER ETC. THE MASTER BED WAS VERY FIRM, BUT THE GUEST BED WAS TOO SOFT AS A PILLOW TOP.

We've been vacationing in the Garden City/Surfside area for 20 years and this was the nicest unit we've ever rented. We've stayed in many different units at Surf Master and always wondered what they would look like after a complete remodel. Well, this is it. We just retired and stayed for 2 weeks for the first time and wanted to splurge a little bit for something that would be more like home, and could not have possibly been happier. We'll be back soon!

My husband and I and another couple loved this 2 bedroom 2 bath condo...very spacious ocean front clean and updated just absolutely beautiful...only thing we did not know is that there was Cushions under the beds for the balcony furniture, that would have been more comfortable but looking forward to staying there next year!!!

I was very pleased with this condo and would stay again. The only complaint is that it is not within close walking distant to a pier. It is located about 1 mile from Surfside pier and 1 1/3 from Garden City Pier.
