Serenity by the Sea

My family had the best time staying at Serenity by the Sea! The accommodations were perfect for all of us. With the pool and beach so close, everyone was able to enjoy doing what they prefer. I was very impressed with the house and all it had to offer! My one and only negative was the refrigerator is a little small and we were having issues with the freezer the whole time. I would suggest maybe adding an icemaker to the house.

We had another great vacation at Serenity By the Sea and have already booked our trip again for next year! The pool is great for our little ones and the porches make great outdoor spaces for them as well.

The home was absolutely perfect for my family. The location was so close to the beach and the house was decorated beautifully. We will definitely be returning in the future.

House was clean, roomy for a party of 8 and across the street from beach access. The fridge was too small for a house of that size, so daily grocery trips were necessary. There was also a dorm size fridge upstairs that fit a few items. Grocery stores were only a few minutes by car though

Serenity by the Sea is our favorite property! We have rented for several years and hands down this property is the best. It has everything you need for your home away from home. It is clean, comfortable...a great space to gather and a great place to have individual quite time if you need it. I would highly recommend this property. Also, Garden City Realty is the best! We had everything we needed, house was clean. Beds were comfortable. Loved having the pool when we got tired of the beach. Perfect location, just had to walk across the street to beach access.

It was a very seamless process from when I put down the deposit until when we checked in and checked out. The house was exactly what we were expecting based on the pictures which is not always the case. The wrap around porches with narrow spindles and a gate were perfect for the little ones in the group.

Blissful Beach Vacation
My family and I came to stay at this lovely beach home and we had a wonderful time. The home was beautiful and impeccably maintained. We would sit outside in the morning and drink coffee on the deck that overlooks the ocean right across the road. The beach is beautiful and the home was able to comfortable sleep all 12 of my family members (the owners even had a pack n play for our baby to use). So much to do in the area - we would recommend this home to all of our friends and family and would absolutely come back again!

We loved this house and location! 14 of us (7 adults and 7 'kids' 18 and under) fit nicely! The location was perfect...a SUPER quick walk across the street and you were crossing the dunes to a very uncrowded location on the beach! Pool was the perfect size! Nice and clean all around!

2 things to note: Fridge is a small fridge...not a full size like you're used to at home. House did not have the ice maker as listed nor an iron.

We are pleased to inform you that the homeowners are purchasing an iron to be available to guests during their stay. Likewise, we apologize for any confusion our wording in the property description may have caused. The ice maker is built into the refrigerator; we have amended the description. Please note that for our guests' safety, we empty the ice maker between each reservation. Finally, although the kitchen refrigerator may not be as large as your own, it is standard-sized. Because it's not side-by-side (the freezer is at the bottom), it may seem smaller than some guests are accustomed to using. There is also a smaller beverage refrigerator in the upstairs loft area. Otherwise, we are glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to seeing you again.

The home is beautiful and well cared for. The pool area is perfect when you need a break from the sand. I would not recommend taking 15 adults. We had 13 adults and two 11-year old kids. I had to purchase an air mattress and we had two people sleeping on sofas.

Likewise, we are sorry to hear the bed options could not accommodate your family and that you had to purchase an air mattress during your stay. This six-bedroom beach house was designed to accommodate a family of up to 15. Although we understand an adult may not to sleep in the twin bunk, the twin-over-double futon bunk is perfect for children or couples with one child. Nonetheless, we are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and look forward to seeing you again.

It is a lovely home, with fun family pictures everywhere. We enjoyed the space, under the building, in the building and at the pool. We also appreciated Garden City Realty's excellent response to normal issues of air conditioning and 'chirping" smoke detector.
