Unlike other companies, we provide vacation rental options for all budgets. Why pay higher rates for amenities and features you don't need?
Check-in time is after 4 p.m., depending on property availability, and extends to the close of business. Every effort will be made to have the property ready for occupancy by check-in. Keys will be released when the property has been reported as ready for occupancy.
Please do not expect to check in to your property upon arrival. If traveling with children, it may be beneficial for you to plan your arrival for a later time.
Please do not park cars or enter the rental until officially checked in or provided with keys from the Rental Department. Inspectors and/or cleaners are not authorized to grant check-in permission to guests.
During the summer, pre-registered guests staying in properties with early check-in availability can take advantage of express check-in. Our Vacation Specialists will notify guests who can avoid the conventional 4 p.m. check-in time and begin their vacation early.
If you arrive after business hours, you will find your keys and directions to your rental property in our late arrival dropbox. Remember to return your signed Guest Rental Agreement on the next available business day.
Some situations can sometimes cause delayed check-ins. When this happens, Garden City Realty reserves the right to withhold keys from guests until the property has been deemed ready for occupancy. Contact the office in advance at 843-652-2555 for our hours (times vary per season) or to check if your rental is ready if it is after 4 p.m.
Check-out time is 10 a.m. Please ensure you vacate the rental property with all your belongings by 10 a.m. on the day of departure. We strictly enforce this check-out time and require guests to return keys to Garden City Realty by 10 a.m. Anyone who does not leave before 10 a.m. will incur a late departure fee of at least $150. If you need to depart outside of our business hours, you can use the key drop located to the right of the front door at 608 Atlantic Avenue. Thank you for your cooperation.
Remember that you don’t have to worry about cleaning the property before your departure, just complete the basics – place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start the clean cycle, remove all food from the refrigerator, freezer, and cabinets, separate the rented linens into two piles; one for sheets and pillowcases, the other for towels and washcloths, and lock all windows and doors, turn off lights. We will take care of the rest and ensure that the home is clean and sanitized. Have a safe trip home, and we look forward to your next visit.
The owners of our vacation rental properties provide guests with pillows, bedspreads, and mattress pads. Bed linens, bath towels, bath mats, and kitchen linen rentals are included with your reservation and are provided to you through Garden City Realty.
Your vacation linens are packaged and delivered upon or before your arrival and picked up from your vacation rental upon departure.
Our complete linen and bath package includes everything your family needs to stay comfortable during your vacation. We deliver bed sheets and pillowcases for all advertised beds, two towels and one washcloth per occupancy, one hand towel and one bath mat per bathroom, a kitchen set, toilet paper, and dish soap.
Beach towels are not provided.
Please be aware that the linens and towels supplied during your stay are inventoried following each guest's departure and inspected for visible signs of damage or inappropriate use. The costs associated with replacing missing or damaged linens and/or towels will be billed to the guest’s credit card on file. Please do not use the linens or towels for anything other than their intended purpose.
Upon arrival at your Garden City Realty vacation rental, you will find one roll of paper towels, one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one trash bag per bathroom, and one for the kitchen. Your starter kit also includes two dishwasher pods, dish towels, and a few other essential items to use until you can unpack and make a trip to the local grocery store.
Please note that perishable items are not kept in the properties. For your convenience, a complete list of recommended items to bring is included below. We are committed to providing exceptional service and continuously improving our offerings each season.
Relax – you are on vacation. Check-out maid service is included with each reservation. When you stay with Garden City Realty, we want your vacation to be a relaxing, enjoyable experience. Items that are perishable or can become unsanitary are not kept in the properties. Properties will have pillows, bedspreads, cookware, serving utensils, dinnerware, silverware, glasses and cups, coffee pot, etc. We have included a list below of items for you to remember to bring with you for your convenience.
