One Ocean Place 1110

We rented this unit for a family vacation to celebrate my mothers 85th birthday. We picked Garden City because the beach is easier to navigate for her than others. We have used Garden City Realty many times and they are always professional and great to work with. This is by far our favorite unit we have ever stayed in. The location is great. The unit was well designed and beautifully decorated. The location and view were spectacular. She was able to sit on the wraparound porch and feel like she was on the beach even on the days that she didn't feel like making it down onto the beach with us. The building has great security and is easily accessible for handicap. I would give this 5 stars if the kitchen was better organized and had better cookware. We like to be able to stay on the beach late and then come in and cook together and then relax and play games. The cookware was terrible and needs to be updated so we did very little cooking. On a positive note, one of our favorite restaurants The Conch Cafe is within walking distance (in the adjacent parking lot). One other disappointing thing was the mattresses. They need to be replaced. However, We would definately stay here again and had a wonderful vacation.

Property was a perfect location. Condo was beautifully updated and comfortable. Furnishings were as noted in pictures. Check-in was no contact and super easy and so convenient. The only thing that that needs updated are the older dirty bedroom carpets. I did wipe a spill up off the tile kitchen floor and the paper towel was black. It did smell really clean when we walked in. Overall great property and plan to stay here again!!!!

Condo was spacious, clean, and recently updated/remodeled. The balcony was huge and wrapped around for a oceanfront and side view. Absolutely amazing views. Balcony furniture was super high quality and comfy. Pool and hot tubs were clean and well maintained. Parking is tight but I managed. I can’t say enough good things. My kids LOVED this condo.

Overall nice rental, master bedroom outside patio door and wall next to door had damage, couldn’t open door. Also, every morning the condo has announcements overhead so that wakes everyone up.

This unit is nicely furnished and designed. Loved the flooring and the balcony. The updated bathrooms were a nice treat. The couch was alittle stained and the washer/dryer was somewhat touch and go. One Ocean Place is a great place to stay! Condo 1110 is on the south end of the building and you have a spectacular view on three sides! We loved the new bathrooms remodeled this year and the kitchen is beautiful and well equipped! It looks exactly as described. The pool area is nice, even though because of Covid we could not use the lounge chairs. We enjoyed our stay there with our children and grands! The only negative I can think of is they need new mattresses! They definitely are old and need to be replaced! We would absolutely stay here in the future! Garden City Realty makes check- in easy!

One Ocean Place 1110 is a beautiful property. It is an end unit with wonderful views. It has been nicely renovated; however, it could use some updated living room furniture as the cushions and pillows are very worn and the mattresses and pillows are due for replacement (which we have found to be typical in almost any unit we have rented). The patio furniture on the balcony differs from from the pictures shown. It has been upgraded to some very nice Trex/composite material furniture. Overall, we were very happy with the unit itself and the location can't be beat.

There were some things about the One Ocean Place property in general that I wish I had known, and I feel might be helpful to know for people choosing to stay at any units on this property. There is plenty of parking, but if you have a very large vehicle, consider another property. Although a minor issue, accessing the elevators from the 1st and 2nd floor parking areas with any carts or luggage is a challenge due to very tight spaces to maneuver through. Finally, the beach access for this property is not ideal. The access is through the parking garage and you either have to go down to the the ground level and walk up a parking garage ramp or get off on the 1st floor and walk down a parking garage ramp. If you have anyone with mobility issues (like an elderly parent) or even dealing with getting kids to the beach, traveling up or down parking ramps with possible car traffic is not ideal. There is also no handicap accessible route to the beach from the property. The beach access issue for us will prevent any future stays at any One Ocean Place units, but that's not any reflection on this particular unit.

We have rented this unit before. It has a nice beach decor. They have added a very nice table for outdoor dining, and a lounge chair too. The Conch Cafe is right next door. It's a fun place to eat and drink. Garden City is the perfect place for our family.

Garden City Realty folks really nice and extremely helpful (Sara Dozier, especially). Unit was just as pictured and decorated beautifully. Linens were very nice. My only negative is although the furniture was nice looking, it was uncomfortable and saggy. I feel the sofa, chairs, and mattresses should be replaced. Would probably be okay for a week, but for a month, it really bothered by back. Otherwise, I was very pleased.

We love One Ocean Place 1110. The decor is beautiful. Bed and living room furniture are comfortable. The view is spectacular. It is the nicest condo at One Ocean Place that we have stayed in. The only suggestion I have is chaises or ottomans for the balcony so that we can put our feet up, and a little side table for the balcony chairs so we have a place to set our coffee cup, book, etc.

Beautiful, spacious, tastefully decorated condo. Corner unit offers privacy and 180 degree, panoramic views of the ocean. Ample parking in attached garage. Elevators are quick. Centrally located, with Conch Cafe just a stone's throw away. Without question the nicest high rise condo we have rented in the Garden City/Surfside area.

This condo unit is fabulous!!! Honestly the entire unit was great and we have no complaints. Would recommend some small tables for the balcony to have a place to sit you drink. We went to Walmart and bought a couple but of course we brought those home.

Well equipped and probably the most comfortable furniture I've ever seen. There only down side was construction (tile installation) in a unit close by - for 3 days- that was very loud. We just got out on the beach earlier and stayed later in the day until they were done - great vacation - said to leave!

The unit was in better condition this year, we suspect that the previous renters were very particular about the unit. They should be commended on the state it was left in. We come each year and since the complete overhaul of the unit little has been done. The unit is starting to show some wear and tear. Carpets need some attention. The dishwasher needs replacement. It works fine but has seen better days. We have again booked for next season and look forward to our return

This was our 3rd time staying at One Ocean Place and 2nd time staying in unit 1110. We found the condo to be very clean, had comfortable beds,and was nicely furnished. I also liked that the linen package was included with the rental. The view of the ocean was amazing from this unit; I could stay there forever! The toaster in this unit needs to be replaced though, it only toasts one side of the bread and the shower in the master bedroom doesn't have much water pressure. The washer/dryer combo is for very small loads. Otherwise, my family & I enjoyed our stay and I would rent this unit again if we decide to go back to Myrtle Beach in the future.

All in all the place was in good shape. It was totally redone the first year we rented. It is now starting to show a bit of wear. Don't think the bed spreads gave been wased on a regular basis carpets are getting dirty and should be properly cleaned or replaced on an annual basis. The old dishwasher just keeps going and going. That beautiful paint needs some touch up. Booked again next year!

We were pleasantly surprised at the overall condition and cleanliness of this condo. The view is amazing and the layout of the condo was wonderful. The only complaints we have are: the blowers would not work in the Jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom. Additionally, the wi-fi signal was very weak; we had to reset the router several times. I also added outlet covers throughout the main living area since we have a 2-year-old.

The view was spectacular and there was tons of space in the condo. I was disappointed because the jets in the garden tub were not working and maintenance was called but they said they had to check with the owners. A previous review from September mentioned that the jets were not working so it is obvious they will not be fixed. The picture on the web site showed the jacuzzi tub so it should have worked or the picture should be removed. It is false advertising. I also felt inside of the condo needed a good cleaning. The location of the condo was perfect and the staff at One Ocean place was very friendly and helpful. I would definately stay at that property again but hope the issue brought to the attention of Garden Realty will be rectified.

Excellent in every way!!!!! We loved every moment of our stay and can't wait to come back again next year. The view, the condo, the location, Conch Cafe, everything was perfect. We always love coming to the beach. We love One Ocean Place. This unit was awesome. The only complaint we had was...we called the office on Saturday morning and asked if our unit was ready...the reply was yes. So, we came to check-in to only find it was not ready. But, we still got into our unit early and enjoyed our stay.

Overall great. 2 problems:
1) No table on deck, which was shown in picture online. Asked for one 3 times and was told it would be taken care of, and never was.
2) 2 local family members came to visit and were both given a boot on their car, $100 fine. There was no information about where visitors could park, and no signs where they parked, which was outside the barricade for the garage. Very unfriendly Mike was the responding maintenance guy. Suggest making sure parking rules are told to paying customers, as we spent a lot of money to stay there.

Our experience was fine. Garden City Reality is not overly friendly, but nice. I did not have oven pads to get things out of the oven with. I left clothes in one drawer and have called about it and have not received a call back yet. The condo was beautiful and very comfortable. The view was awesome. The elevators are quick, which was wonderful since we were on the 11th floor. If we go back to Garden City I would definitely consider staying here.

The condo has been completely redone except for the appliances (which should be done soon). The decor is beautiful and we have booked again for next year.

Garden City's maintenance people and rental staff are a pleasure to deal with.
Garden City Realty's forms are confusing even to their staff. The deposit for next year seems high when compared to the competition. Pay now or pay later I guess.

The 11th floor, south side is the reason we rented this particular condo. It has beautiful views with the sun coming in all day. The down sides are that the master bedroom bed is lumpy and the sheets don't fit correctly, the kitchen needs updating badly (the stove was iffy) and the bathrooms were shedding wallpaper. Also, the television was close to 20 years old.
