Channel Marker 306

This is our 2nd year in a row staying at Channel Marker @ Surfside Beach. We love it! Our boys play in the Mingo Bay Classic High School Baseball Tournament every Spring Break. Making reservations was quick and easy. The property is in the perfect location for what we needed. It is well maintained and extremely clean. From making the reservation to checking out and everything in between Channel Marker is top notch! We will be making our reservations for next year real soon.

Spent three weeks here. Cute condo. The king bed was super comfy and the shower’s pressure was amazing. The kitchen had the basic supplies. I had to go buy a blender since I like frozen cocktails. Some issues that previous renters encountered still exist — kitchen faucet still leaking and the towel bar in the bathroom is still broken. The popcorn ceiling needs removed since it is flaking off, especially in the kitchen. This unit is close to so many stores, shops and restaurants.

The condo was exactly as pictured and perfect for our family of four. The property was clean and well maintained and check-in/out was a breeze. Great location in Surfside Beach and within walking distance to both the Surfside and Garden City piers. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this property.

1st time to Myrtle beach day 2 my looks at me and says "we are coming back here"
I would add had problem with door lock not working well Garden City responded promptly

The condo was very clean and a great location and view. The king bed was very comfortable. The condo met our needs very well. The kitchen faucet needs to be fixed and the kitchen cabinets need to be updated. While there, the internet and Wi-Fi stopped working and even after calling the realty twice, it never was restored. This meant no tv which was not all that bad.

First of all, let me say the condo was great and we had an amazing time. We realize the owners have renovated some parts and appreciate that. We love the keyless entry. We love the fact that linens are now included. We lucked out with the weather, wonderful trip.
We did, however, want to let you know of some things that need attention:
. Towel bar in master bathroom needs to be tightened to the wall...bottom bar keeps falling off.
. Fan in master bathroom sounds like a plane taking off.
. We tried a few times, but could not get the master bedroom tv to work. There was a firestick remote but there but no firestick
. Kitchen drawer left of the microwave - the back of the drawer is not there. Everything you put in falls into the cupboard below.
. Kitchen faucet cover plate moves every time you move the faucet.
None of these things were major, just thought you should be made aware.
Overall, great stay. We are from Wentworth-Nord, Quebec...missing the "t".

We really enjoyed our stay at Channel Marker 306. Loved that it was right on the beach, and the balcony overlooked the beach/ocean! The rental unit was sufficient for our needs. It was just the right size for our family of 4. It is not super updated, but everything works and functions properly and does not look bad either. We would recommend this unit!

The Condo was very nice and comfortable with a fabulous ocean front with a balcony view. Beach was outstanding. Only issue was that the pool which we were looking forward too was closed. Never really got a good explanation. Other pools along the main strip were all open. Other than that everything was as expected.

Although the place was in newer/updated condition the kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets needed to be updated as they were not in great working condition. The shower in the master was very difficult to adjust. What would start out as warm water would become scalding hot from changing the flow from tub spigot to the shower head. The closet door in the master was very awkwardly placed and would almost have made more sense to not have one at all.

Great beach-front condo with heated pool and assigned parking. The unit was clean and well-stocked with everything from a portable playpen to board games. Also, the condo unit has a "Borrower's Corner" with beach chairs, sand shovels, and boogie-boards.

We visit Garden City beach yearly. We stayed in a new condo this year. We loved it there. This was our first time renting through garden city realty. The only thing was check in was at 4:30 and we couldn't even get the keys until 6pm. We drove from Ohio and got to the area to have time to grocery shop before check in. We arrived at 4:15 and Garden City Realty said it wasn't ready. So we sat in the car with no where to go for almost 2 hours with 4 kids, groceries and luggage. The bathroom was dusty above the mirror and all the fans in the condo were caked with dust. So we weren't happy about that with the cleaning service, it takes that long to clean and inspect it and its not all the way cleaned.

If you want to wake up to the best view on the beach, this is the place for you. We stayed comfortably, with a family of 5. The kitchen was fully stocked for us to stay in for meals, yet we were close to several amazing options to go out. We were not super close to any of the larger condos/hotels, so we had pleasure of privacy on the beach as well. I highly recommend and will definitely rent this one again!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Channel Marker 306! The condo was clean and the layout was just as described. There was a welcoming bag from housekeeping that included extra toilet tissue, another garbage bag, and some brochures from local businesses with coupons for food and activities. The place encourages families and is right on the beach. It is wonderful to be able to look put and see the ocean from the living room and just open the door to hear the waves hitting the beach. The Garden City Realty staff were all very nice and easy to work with. I would recommend this to friends and family. Just be aware there are three flights of stairs, and this is stated in the description. We did pay extra for linens and towels - very much worth it!
