Beach House 317

The Beach House is a great location. Pool area is nice and deck is very spacious. It would be nice to add a few more sitting chairs. We stayed in unit 317. Unit was clean the beds are super comfy after a long day in the sun. The den furniture needs some upgrades- the cushions are worn out. Would also love some captain style chairs in the deck so you can look over the banister to the beach. Kitchen is well stocked but time to upgrade the coffee maker to a keurig.

The condo overall was okay. The furniture was quite dated and too big for some of the rooms which made it awkward. The master bath could be updated. Furniture on the porridge was uncomfortable. There were no cleaning supplies or trash bags left at the property. I would definitely say at this location again. But maybe choose a different condo.

This is our second year at Beach House 317. We love to watch the sun rise and sit on the porch and watch the ocean. The condo has a well stocked kitchen and we like that there is no carpeting on the floors. We love to walk on the beach and it is an easy walk to the Garden City Pier. We have also found the owner and management company to be very responsive when needed. We would recommend this place to others.

Nice place, you need to be able to do stairs. One bedroom has a queen ,second had 2 twins. Another queen would have worked better for us.kitchen has everything you need. Great view. Master bath could use some updates

Great location and views. About half a mile from the pier. We could see the pool from our room as well. Very family oriented. The closet was full with extra chairs, umbrella, toys, etc.
Nice pool and deck.

Cons -
We do have complaints about the quality of beds and couch - very uncomfortable and need updating as others have mentioned. The couch coushions are extremely worn.
The shower door was about to fall off, one towel rack did fall down - twice. We also called about replacing a moldy shower curtain but never had a response. The maintance man did come and repair the damaged items quickly and was very friendly.

Overall we enjoyed the stay.

We LOVE the Beach House and will continue to rent for years to come. This year, we stayed in Beach House 317 - our second visit to this unit. All in all, it was a fantastic week in a comfortable and spacious unit and an amazing view.

We called the realty company for five light bulbs that were out as well as a broken coffee maker. They came quickly with replacements.

The outdoor deck furniture is tired and probably in need of replacement soon (broken table, oversized lounge chair in small(er) space, broken stereo system).

The community is wonderful - and the new exterior paint job is FANTASTIC! We look forward to seeing it when it's completely finished.

The location of 317 Beach House is perfect. No one above, no one behind, no one on right side and only 1/2 on left side. Quite. The stairs are doable. We like it well enough to rent for winter 2021. There are a few issues. The twin mattresses are miserable. The queen could be better. There is a musty smell in guest bedroom. I kept windows cracked. The guest closet was unusable with stuff stored. That's a bit of a problem for a 3 month stay. The location is perfect and the quite outweighs the issues. Cabinets were not cluttered and that helps for storage in tug he long term stays. I liked it well enough to rent for another winter.

Cant beat the view. Also good location, nice walk to the pier. The place could use a renovation. We ended up with just the two of us so it was comfortable. Ended up using the other bedroom for luggage and such as there is not much free storage space. The queen bed was comfortable. Any problems we had were taken care of right away.

We come to the beach each year for our anniversary. We love staying ab Beach House 317. Perfect location, the condo is beautiful and the view from the porch is amazing. the only downside is the beds. they are very uncomfortable. New mattresses would be an upgrade i would suggest. Other than that, it was an awesome trip!

Sleeping listening to the waves every night and waking up each morning to a wonderful sunrise from room or balcony... who wouldn't want to stay here!!!
I do think they need more light fixtures in the small bedroom or brighter bulbs.... it is poorly lit. I did clean the mold from the tub and shower in both bathrooms when I arrived and wiped of baseboards they were quite thick with dust.... overall job was typical for a cleaning company. ONE major recommendation is to have a slide bolt lock or manual deadbolt w/o key on the inside of the door for renters while in the room. Would come back again.

Was the second time for us at the Beach House ! We stay for the location .. Things need improving : Shower has mole in it ... Bedspreads were dirty , I put in closet .. Icemaker was not working from the first day we checked in .. someone came a took a look told us he had to put in. Work order . Never came back .. floors and carpet needed clean... someone needs to check their Maintance people ,they

1st Garden City Reality should be your only choice to ensure that your vacation is perfect! We have used them 3x's and each experience was great.

This is our 2nd time renting BH317 for a reason. Who doesn't love going to bed and waking up to the sound of the ocean outside your bedroom window. The unit is positioned so that you see the sunrise everyday from your bed. The unit is not new, but it is well maintained. The HOA does a great job maintaining the 3 story building, as well. In addition, unlike the high rises, the beach is not too crowded.

Rent with confidence and let the your hardest decision be - flip-flops or no flip-flops...

The rental experience was smooth and easy from start to finish. The unit was just what we were hoping for...clean, great views, everything worked like it should, and ocean breezes day & night. We liked it so much, we are considering buying a unit. The only thing that I would suggest is that the balcony railing be replaced. A few of the balusters are loose from age and weathering. The railing is safe. This only a concern if you have small children or animals that may push on the balusters. According to the HOA President this repair is already planned. We would stay here again and/or recommend it to friends/family.

It was a great vacation. The room was very nice and updated. T.V. In master bedroom had a green line through it, kind of annoying but nothing major. Breaker was tripped during huge storm and maintenance came and fixed it in a pretty timely manner. I was overall very pleased with the condo this year.

My husband and came to the beach for our 4 year anniversary and stayed at this amazing condo! So close to the beach, pier, the inlet, shopping and fun! The condo is absolutely gorgeous. The master bed was not very comfortable, but it did not make our stay any less enjoyable! Cant wait to stay there again. Everything you need at your fingertips including the linens! Best condo we have ever stayed at in Garden City!

With all the pictures, you pretty much know what you're getting. We found unit 317 as described - well appointed, clean, in good repair. Excellent ocean-front location, and the view is fantastic. Pool beside is not a problem. Be prepared to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to it.

Have stayed in the unit several times; overall we are satisfied. However, the unit needs some work. Pots and pans were disappointing, the master bedroom shower has mold that needs to be cleaned up - it has a generally dirty look to it. The shower control knob needs to be removed and cleaned, it's full of black sludge - same goes for the other bathroom.

We have stayed in BH 317 many times, overall pleased with unit but it's getting a little rough around the edges.

This is the 8th year that we have stayed in the Beach House Condos. We have been in multiple condos within the complex and they all were very nice but I have to say that Beach House 317 is the best. The decor is beautiful and I love the floors! The only thing I would change would be a hightop table and chairs for the deck and a TV for the second bedroom. Garden City is so much quieter than Myrtle Beach...we love it! And yet, you're still close to everything. Murrell's Inlet is 5 minutes away with fantastic restaurants and the Marshwalk and Broadway at the Beach is about 20 minutes away. We have stayed here with family aging from 1 year to 70 years and everyone enjoyed themselves. I would recommend this property to anyone. I would also recommend renting through Garden City Realty over other Realties in the area. Their prices are much better then most and they take care of their properties.

This was an amazing vacation week at the Beach House 317. Very clean condo close to the beach. No need to go early to get a spot, a lot of space. This part of the beach is not crowded and very clean. A lot of amenites at the Condo. The view from the balcony is awesome. Close to the Garden City Pier. The kids loved the place with all the attractions at the Pier. I recommended to place to everybody.

The condo and the beach were beautiful! Nicely decorated, like we was staying in a model home. The condo was in a comfortable walking distance to the pier which was excellent! Plenty of space for 6...the only place to put the fold-away bed was in the kitchen, that was awkward. One issue was that the dryer vented back into the condo causing warm & humid conditions inside.

The condo was decorated beautifully. We really enjoyed the pool and beach access from the condo unit. We have 2 small children, and it would have been nice to have an elevator to help haul the beach stuff up and down the stairs. The only downfalls to the condo are that the floor is very uneven (especially the balcony), and the AC has a limit to how low it is supposed to be set... The bedroom at the front of the condo stayed fairly cool, but the master bedroom was rather warm. Otherwise, it was a wonderful vacation and a beautiful condo!

Was so glad we stumbled across this rental. Was exactly as pictured and described. Check in and out was so easy. Walked into the office and picked up packet with everything needed and out within "1" minute. The rental unit was decorated and well kept. During our stay, we enjoyed the beautiful condo and the wonderful view. Just a few things that maybe could be reviewed is a TV in the second room would have been nice for my children. The palmetto bugs gave us a scare because my son found one in his suitcase on his shirt and they liked to crawl on the deck at night. I guess that this is common. All in all we enjoyed our stay and were very impressed with Beach House 317.

We loved The Beach House, 317 is beautifully decorated, but owners need to take a little time to fix a few things that were a problem. Master toilet seat is broken, large bathroom sink will not drain, front door had trouble locking, twin bedroom closet had little room for using (filled with their things), lighting is bad in den at night, main television remote is not user friendly at all, both closet doors were very hard to open, and the bottom drawer in the master black cabinet is almost impossible to open. Little things to fix, but very annoying to have to deal with while staying in the unit!

This was our first time staying in Garden City Beach. We loved it. The unit was very nice. It has a very nice kitchen and is decorated very nicely. The view from the balcony was great. We saw sea turtles swimming every day. The area was very nice. It was much quieter than Myrtle Beach. I will continue to vacation in Garden City Beach.

The condo was conveniently located on a fairly uncrowded stretch of beach and within walking distance of the pier. The property was well maintained. We saw an outdoor maintenance person every morning sweeping, hosing and straightening in the deck and pool areas. Our unit was lovely. The view is terrific. We enjoyed the balcony. Parking was never an issue the time of year we traveled. The deck area was often full of sunbathers so chaise were not always available. An elevator in the building would be a welcome plus. The reservation, stay and check-out could not have been much smoother.

The only complain was the air conditioner did not keep the condo very cool. On the rental agreement and on a note posted in condo it said not to change below 72 or the unit would freeze up. I think this would be very uncomfortable on a hot summer week

The condo has been redecorated,updated and was beautiful. Kitchen was fully equipped with very nice dishes and small appliances. Master bedroom had a comfortable bed. View from third floor balcony was very nice. Overall stay was pleasant and relaxing, so much so, we reserved the unit for the same time in 2013.

We love to stay at the Beach House every year! I have been coming for over 20 years and would never think of staying anywhere else. I have stayed in some units that were badly in need of updating as far as the decor and appliances, but units 317 and 117 are in impecable condition. I would highly recommend a stay at the Beach House to anyone who is interested in a family friendly atmosphere away from the craziness of Myrtle Beach.
