The Condo and the property were great. The condo was spacious, clean and well furnished. The kitchen had everything that we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Garden City Reality were the best I have ever dealt with and we will continue to use them.

Property is very nice - perfect location. Everything was comfortable and shower in master was great! I would suggest a new coffee pot, maybe a keurig? The deck furniture could be nicer.
Also i was not given a code to the beach gates on my envelope as usual. I called and left message but never got a call back.
But all in all a great 2 weeks

The Wi-Fi router and modem transformer plugs kept falling out of the socket. They were too heavy placed that way. They should have been placed in a power strip on the floor. This caused numerous outages and we had to keep replacing the plugs.

A kitchen cabinet door came off its hinge and almost struck one of us in the head. We had to call maintenance.

A safety hand bar should be placed in the master shower.

Housekeeping should keep up with the mold buildup in the master shower.

Overall It was a very good experience. Only complaints were chairs at the table were in need of repair (very wobbly). We stabilized a couple. The blinds could use some repair.
Something to consider: safety bars would be very beneficial in the shower. It may prevent some falls.

This is the second time we’ve stayed in this building. Our stay in room 307 was great! Very clean, comfortable beds and couch, the master bathroom is awesome too. You can’t beat the panoramic windows and view of the ocean. We enjoy being close to Murrells Inlet too for the dining options. We will definitely stay here again.

Great time - condo could have done with better cleaning. The master bedroom mattress was filled with dirt which we at first thought was bed bugs. Baseboards dirty especially in bathrooms. Over pleased with the unit and would stay there again.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were not able to use the condo. However, this afforded us the opportunity to allow my stepson & daughter in law to use the condo for a second honeymoon! We've stayed at many units in Surfmaster and the views can't be beat. 307 is beautifully decorated and a very nice unit with a north and south view of the beach. At first I was disappointed to see the view out the side window (it's an end unit) onto all the electrical units between the two buildings, there was a hum and I thought for sure that would be an issue, but I was surprised and happy that the ocean waves drowned out the noise and it was not an issue at all. Parking at Surfmaster can be difficult when they are booked, but if you are flexible3 and are okay with grabbing any spot available even if it's on the outside deck it's not a problem. The only thing 307 needs is the kitchen rug replaced, that's a very minor issue to say the least! Everything else is spot on.

We have rented many different condos at Surfmaster and have always been pleased, however, this is our new favorite. Comfortable furniture, a well appointed kitchen and many updates throughout made it a great home away from home, for the week. The view from Surfmaster can't be beat. We hope to be back!

The view and the condo are amazing! Perfect for 7 of us. I couldnt have asked for any better. Relaxing view, pool not busy. We only had 1 bad incident. We were there Labor day weekend and someone threw up in both elevators. It was pretty gross and was in there pretty much all day. My hubby called the emergency line and it was cleaned up by next day. But other than that, it was great! We would stay again!

Great. A couple of things - the right rear eye on the stove did not work and the garbage disposal did not work. We ate out most of the time and used paper plates when we ate at the condo so neither of the above really mattered to us; however, it might to another renter.

My review would be perfect except for a few minor thing and some were to do with wear and tear of any place.The sofa was peaking in places and got on your clothes,hair and floor. We put a towel over-this helped.The ceiling where it had been initially painted was peeling.Other things like burning and ice maker were looked into immediately.This is our 5th time staying there and it has improved each time.gorgeous view inside and out.would stay again.

We stayed at Surf master 307 the week after Labor Day Weekend. It is a beautiful property with all of the amenities you'd expect. Great location right on the ocean front. The condo was clean and everything worked fine except the rear right burner on the stove. Loved the fact that they supplied beach chairs and toys for the kids although they should advertise that so we wouldn't have to pack all of it for the trip down. We wouldn't have had to bring a thing for the beach. Furniture was in good shape and the flat screen televisions were great. Great place to stay for the family.

I have been going to Surfmaster for the past 5 yrs.I stayed in 307 for 4 of them.
I do love the unit ,however I think it is time for the owners to change the bedding,eg( pillows,sheets, & bed spread .I also would have enjoyed a couple of beach chairs.
The kitchen has a collection of frying pans?? I think at least 6 why?
Drew the manager is a very professional young man,& tries very hard to please his clients.
I have enjoyed my visit in 307& will recommend it to friends

We have stayed in Surfmaster unit 307 every February since 2012. The unit is nicely decorated and is spacious. The kitchen is well equipped. We like the location of this unit in the Surfmaster I building. It gets the morning sun and afternoon sun until about 3pm.The sun is especially enjoyable in the winter. We can also easily see north and south views of the beach. As in all 3 bedroom units at Surfmaster there are 6 floor to ceiling windows that face the ocean. You feel like you are sitting on the beach even though you are inside.
The unit had just been updated when we first stayed in it in 2012 and since then the 2 secondary bedrooms have new paint and carpet. However, all the bathrooms need updated but are adequate. The large TV in the living room needs repaired or replaced (it could be watched but faces looked yellow and background had blue streaks). It was not fixed during our stay but hopefully will be.
The parking garage was being upgraded during our stay and parking was a problem but Garden City Realty did all they could to help this situation. Thanks GC Realty!
The living room furniture is not the same furniture as in the photos of the condo. The current furniture is starting to show some wear, probably from the sun.
If you have never stayed at Surfmaster you need to know that you can't beat the location. If you stay here you will like it too.

Since your departure, the owners have made several improvements to the unit. These improvements included new Luxury Vinyl Tile Flooring in the master bedroom, refinished leather furniture in the living room, an updated vanity with granite countertop in the hall bathroom, and HD digital converters on all TVs. The digital converters installed eliminated the problems you experienced with the TV in the living room. We enjoy the beach and surfmaster feels like home because we come every year. We love the view and there's so much to do around the condo parking was bad this year due to the work on the lower level of the parking garage. 307 is a nice unit but some of the appliances need replaced or repaired.

Mr. and Mrs. Johnson - I'm so sorry to see the low-quality review that you have posted in relation to your stay here at Surf Master. This is frustrating as I know that we have handled several of your concerns very promptly. When it came to the vertical blinds, we had a repair man on-site within a day or two to fix them. When you had a light bulb burn out in the bathroom ceiling, we were there the same day to replace it. When your TV seemed to have a few blue streaks running through it, we reported the same day and determined this was just an anomaly occurring on one channel. These issues were all addressed as quickly as possible. That being said, we have gone ahead and relayed to the owner your concerns regarding the older appliances. Though they work just fine, I understand why you may think they could be updated to newer models. As the manager on-site, I hope that you will return next year despite the few concerns you have had. - GCR Management

I usually come from TN and stop in Florence and mom and sister's get condo-usual ocean get and brother lives in garden city. This condo was moms favorite.Great view from all angles.Condo extremely nice.this year we did it without our mother.she died a few months before turning 88. Make those memories while you can-can't think of a better place to make them.

Our experience with Garden City Realty was WONDERFUL. The unit that we stayed in was very clean and the décor was lovely. Perhaps, the coffee pot should be replaced and the refrigerator took a while to cool. One thing that could be done to make arrival better, would be to include the check in process in your correspondence with your clients. We did not know that the door to the unit would be left unlocked and that the keys would be on the kitchen counter. Nor did we know that toilet paper would need to be purchased and that only one set of bath towels would be provided per guest for the week. The beach during our stay was almost empty. We practically had the entire beach to ourselves. Our stay was very nice and we would stay again!

We absolutely loved 307! Our favorite condo so far. Decorated very nicely and we felt at home. We didn't want to come back home. We will be back for sure. We had a wonderful time. We had great weather-no rain and hot! The only thing that wasn't stated in "leaving instructions" was what to do with pillows, comforters, and extra blankets. If it was and I missed it, I apologize. We folded them and left on the beds.

Very nice I have booked for next year.I was not able to complete the above. the walls ,carpets & railings all look well weathered as I realize salt air causes this but I really think they look almost dirty.I find I am explaining them to my guests as we walk to our condo.Can you also improve the weather for next year?(joking)

We had a very nice stay. The people were friendly and the weather was wonderful. The condo was nice and comfortable. Well kept. The only thing I didn't like was the Master bath. Too small. We've been visiting Myrtle Beach for years. I prefer Garden City Realty above the others. I will use them again.

Our stay in 307 was very nice, loved the upgraded kitchen, furniture very comfortable. A few minor complaints are, they turn the refridgerator off (to clean) but when we turned it back on it takes 2-3 days to stablize. Also the air conditioner, not very strong probably coils could use cleaning out, and the washer and dryer very small. We had an enjoyable time and would rent this unit again.

The unit was very clean and nicely furnished. The only complaint I have is the fact that there are not enough parking spaces for the two buildings. We were there on the week of July 4th and were constantly parking somewhere on the street as all of the spaces were full. Overall, beautiful condo

This is a great unit. Our only problems (slight) were internet access but that was solved by your professionals. And the fact that the AC unit in the condo was very loud. It worked well so we didn't say anything and in fact don't know if the noise was normal. Otherwise a great stay and we are hoping to be back next year although we couldn't get the same unit for both February and March.

This condo has everything a renter could want! The condo is beautiful and looks like it was decorated by a professional designer. The unit is also very comfortable and convenient. The owners obviously take pride in thier condo and keep it well maintained. The unit is on the end of the north building and there is some noise from the equipment situated between the buildings but it is not loud enough to disturb you. We stayed the enire month of February and have no complaints and liked the unit so much that we have reserved it for 2013. If you stay here I'm certain you will be pleased!

Great location and a great vacation! Room was beautiful and very spacious. The only complaint I would have is that the pool filter/heater unit is between the two buildings. Room 307 is at the end of the building next to this unit. Those fans ran 24/7 and was extremely annoying when playing on the beach and at night when trying to sleep. Not sure if anything could be done about that but that was my only complaint of the entire week. Great weather and we will definitely be back.

Everything was great as usual except there was a problem with the internet while we were there (6 days).There was a signal but would not read an address. No one seemed to be authorized or able to fix it. A BIG problem as I need my internet.

Loved the condo just a few things needed to be updated such as the pots and pans. They were really old and had so many scratches on them we were scared to use them so we went out and bought our own. Plus the can opener didn't even work. Just need to check on these little things with each individual owner.
