This was a great find for our family!! The home was extremely clean and the decor was very nice. The price of the unit and convenience of the beach were absolutely amazing. The week we went, there just happened to be 2 other units filled out of 8, so it was like we had the entire complex to ourselves. It was only a short walk to the pier and entertainment on Atlantic and the public beach access was just at the end of Cypress...maybe a 1-2 minute walk. I can't not speak highly enough about our stay at this quaint home. Parking is a little tight for large SUV's, however, this is easily solved by backing in. It was the perfect size for our family of 5. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes and cookware. The porch was a nice addition. Nothing like enjoying an incoming beach storm on the porch and a morning cup of coffee. The only down side about the porch is that it had a motion light in the corner that kept coming on while we were sitting out there at night. Not a big deal, just a slight irritant. We were also able to have a golf cart, which was a nice entity at a complex. The following week, we stayed at another property with extended family and rented from Dunes Realty. I must say, Garden City Realty has Dunes beat by far in the housekeeping department. I was such a relief to walk into a rental unit that looked and felt clean. What a difference that detail alone makes.
Applause to the housekeeping department at Garden City Realty!! We will definitely keep this GEM in our back pocket for future visits.

We have stayed in this property for years and it just keeps getting better. Beautifully decorated, clean, and a super location in Garden City. If you only need three bedrooms, you need to try this home. You will love it.

Cypress D was in a fantastic location to both the Ocean, Shops and Restaurants. Plus it’s a short walk to the Garden City Pier! My family and I enjoyed our stay. We have been frequenting the Garden City, Surfside and Murrells Inlet ( Myrtle Beach ) areas for years and will continue to do so.

Another great stay in this clean and beautifully decorated 3 bedroom 2 bath home. We'll be back next year. Owner to be commended. This is not a typical rental property.

The rooms were clean and spacious. Plenty of room for our 6 person group. Great location to the beach.

We will definitely keep this property on our list for future visits.

The only downside was the dishwasher broke on our first day. We don't mind washing dishes, but the washer was in poor condition when we got there, and died upon our visit.

This was a great house for me and my girls. It’s was clean and very close to the beach. We did have refrigerator issues and the A/C went out twice. Overall it was a great week!!

This property was clean, had a terrific location and had a well stocked kitchen. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! The property management company was also excellent. I loved the fact they emailed me a pre-check out reminder instructing us how to leave the property.

The house was updated, in great shape, as represented in the photos and well stocked. Very clean and organized. We had every possible kitchen utensil and didn't need anything. We loved playing cards on the porch and swimming in the pool in the evenings. We had plenty of parking space and lots of room for golf carts and beach items. Our only tiny issues was the beds were a tad firmer than we prefer but that could be preference. Highly recommended for a small family.

We have stayed in this house for at the last 7-8 years. It is convenient to the beach and has a nice pool. The house is in good shape.

We have stayed in this house a few times now over the years. My only issue is the owner this year, modified the thermostat to automatically default back to 74 degrees even if you turn the temperature down. With a family (with kids) having sunburns, limiting the AC to 74 degrees is an issue. It's a hot climate and 74 degrees doesn't cut it. The owner needs to fix this or we may not stay here again. I will ask next time I book if corrected.

This sweet place is very spacious and has an inviting decor with a nice kitchen, which includes granite counter tops, stainless appliances, and all you need to cook. The wood floors are nice and the A/C works great! The beds are fairly comfortable, although the headboards could use some adjustment. The couches are cozy but the cushions don't stay put. Both full bathrooms are nice and have clean shower curtains and plenty of storage, as well. The cleaning girl is so very nice and does an incredible job. This is a great place!

We enjoyed our stay at Cypress Place D; rental is in a great location, short walk to the beach and pier and Cypress Drive takes you right out to 17. House had everything we needed for our stay and it felt like home. Our only complaint was the floors were very sticky and did not feel clean when we arrived. Also parking can be a pain if there is a car in the spot across from the house.

Property description was very accurate regarding location, layout, amenities of Cypress Place D. The location was less than a block from the beach! The layout of the house was nice and accommodated 4 adults and 2 kids. The kitchen was very well stocked and the unit even had Wi-Fi. The living room couches could stand to be updated, even though they were clean, they were not very comfortable. The 2 car parking was a bit tight. The shared pool was located right next to the unit. The property was very clean and well-maintained. There was a small issue with the dryer during our stay, but after calling the rental company, the dryer was fixed that day. Check in/out was a very easy process.

We had a good experience overall. I will say the parking is tight if you have a van or SUV. the home is definitely a lot smaller than what the pictures portrayed but it was fine. The queen size beds felt more like full size beds. The kitchen has everything so that was a huge plus. The DVD player is broken so my little one was unable to watch a movie, that would be something the owner of the home should to look into replacing. The house was cute and the location was good so we had a good stay overall.

A nice place for a vacation and the grandchildren loved the pool. The parking of vehicles can be difficult. Parking for a third car is not available.

Overall it was a pretty good experience which we picked solely on reviews and the photos. The rental house looked just like the pictures and the space worked out well for sharing with 2 families with young kids. The rental was in a great location with a very small walk to the beach including direct access to the beach across from our street. The pool was just like in the pictures and right next to this rental so access was perfect. We enjoyed the beach before lunch and the pool right after lunch. It worked out perfect when some kids needed naps and the older kids wanted to have fun in the water. It was pretty well equipped with the cooking and dining essentials (pots, pans, lids, Tupperware, plates, utensils,etc). It did not come with an oven MIT or hand towels for doing dishes nor a grill so we borrowed the neighbors charcoal grill for dinner. That would be another amenity I would ask they consider to provide as well. We loved the proximity the pier, ice cream shop & souvenir shop was... Probably a 10-15 min walk which was perfect!

A couple of the stove burners did not work properly but we figured it out and made due. When we did arrive the prior guests did not clean well before leaving and housekeeping was quick to respond. The weather was great during our stay (high 70s, low 80s until the last 2 days). when it was high 80s the AC was not working well or rather could could keep up with cooling the house and stayed at 75 for an entire day. We called Garden City rental and they quickly called a repairman. The ceiling fans got finicky during our stay as well as the sliding glass door but really those were all things (minus the AC) that I felt were bearable and do not impact our collective stay.

I would def recommend &/or stay here again as long as the AC was working properly the entire stay no matter how hot it got.

Beautiful home, everything looked new and clean. Kitchen is VERY well equiped. Great beach access. Nice laundry room. Parking is tight if you have a large truck or SUV (there is a car parked in the largest spot), luckily all the homes around us were not occupied so that helped. DVD player in living room did not work, would liked to have been able to use the outside shower.

Excellent place to stay. Walking distance to the beach is 1 block. Having a pool is great for the grandchildren (10&12). Having WIFI is a bonus. Parking is tight but manageable. Have rented this cottage for several years.

we arrived and were happy with the distance to beach PERFECT less than 1 block...condo very up to date and clean, spacious...2 big beds and 2 twins (3 bedrooms) ... pool is only about 31/2 ft deep and small but it served its purpose and kids enjoyed it (even my teens)..will visit this location again

this was an awesome place to stay! the only "problem" we had would be that the owner had a car parked in one of the bays under the condo but fortunately we only had 2 vehicles. we also noticed the laundry room had ants which wouldnt have been a big deal except we loaded the laundry area with all our things to pack before we left the condo in the am including our leftover snack food and cereal etc! otherwise it was great. we would definately consider renting here again :)
