Surf Master 511

We have rented through Garden City Realty for years and have never had a problem. They take care of everything and keep us informed. The rental properties always excel in cleanliness. Highly recommend.

You like rocking in your chairs on your front porch? Well.... this place has 4 beautiful wooden rocking chairs and a view to the ocean and the sunrises are just beautiful! Equipped with everything you need from pots & pans, dishes, coffee maker, blender, toaster, towels, linens, washer & dryer, a wet bar, ice maker, beach chairs, swimming pool floats, games, private pools (2). You name it....they have it. Thank you so much Surf Master 511 for our beautiful vacation. We will be back again soon.

We loved the condo. It was clean and the balcony was perfect. We actually watch the super moon come up over the ocean and it was beautiful. The only thing we found wrong was it was extremely cold. We didn't have any instructions on how to turn up the air conditioning so it wouldn't be so cold.

We enjoyed staying at this condo for several reasons. There was plenty of seating for everyone to be comfortable. I particularly loved the wicker chairs by the window for morning coffee. The balcony also had plenty of rockers. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, flatware and cookware. The mattress in master bedroom was slightly lumpy and could use more pillows. The bathroom sink tended to drain very slow. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would go back. Check in and check out was simple and easy - contactless. Really liked that!

SurfMaster condo is a great place! Can’t beat the oceanfront location. We like the area SurfMaster is well kept and we never have had any problems. The unit we rented is very nice. Loved the rocking chairs on the oceanfront balcony. We’d like to see updated kitchen dish ware as all the mugs were chipped. Minor complaint!

16 Golfers came from Salt Lake City for a late summer golf and poker experience. This Condo was clean and expansive. Beds were firm and comfortable. All appliances worked. View was EXCEPTIONAL! Bathrooms were clean, nice and large. Water pressure in shower was OK. Definitely return! Mary was easy to work with. Easy to get in touch with.Rave reviews from all my group!

The surf master is a great place to stay. The condo unit 511 is very nicely decorated and updated. We enjoyed the rocking chairs on the balcony and also the 2 chairs inside that give a great view when weather doesn’t permit being on the balcony. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Views are always amazing, staff is always excellent. This condo was not as nice as other units we have stayed in. Condo very clean. Finishes in this unit needed repaired. TV's are all very complicated to use3 and the DVD players would not work. Other than that, very amazing place to stay. Will be back again in 2022. Jackie in the office is a wonderful lady.

We loved our stay. The condo was clean. We loved the sitting area by the window on the cooler days. The rocking chairs on the balcony were nice for morning coffee or just taking in the view. The check in process was so easy, I got a text when the room was ready and was given a code for the door. No waiting in line, contactless check in. I would definitely stay here again!!

We began staying at Surf Master when our kids were kids. Now we are vacationing here with our grandkids! We have always enjoyed our stays here. We really like Garden City Beach. This condo, #511, was nicely appointed to meet all of our needs. The property description was accurate and it was clean and in good shape.
The vacation rental management staff helpful was helpful with my calls and notifications. The only complaint is that blackout curtains are needed in the second bedroom because of the light coming in from an outside light made it difficult to sleep. Other than that, our vacation was perfect! We will definitely stay here again! We highly recommend this property to family and friends.

We have been vacationing in Murrells Inlet for approximately 6 years and have always used GCR, wouldn't use anyone else. We arrived earlier than expected and the Staff went out of their way to get the unit ready for use. We always stay at Surf Master, this was our first stay in this Unit and I was very pleased with the décor, the comfort, everything about it. We had an issue with the kitchen sink leaking and it took several days for them to fix it, but that was it. Would highly recommend this unit. Weather completely cooperated too!!!

This was our third year staying at 511 Surfmaster. We really like the area and location of the property. Being able to be right on the ocean is fabulous. While the unit is acceptable, it is starting to show some serious wear and tear and needs some TLC (e.g. Bathroom and kitchen updates, painting, etc.).

Nice time, convenient for families. Reconditioned and updated but can tell it takes a beating from being directly oceanfront. Master bath felt small. Maybe install a bowed curtain rod to decrease cramped feel in shower. Comfortable accommodations otherwise. Wonderful view from master bedroom

I enjoyed my stay in this beautiful condo! It was clean and the kitchen supplied everything that was needed! The view was magnificent and the ocean was seen easily inside! The balcony also provided plenty of room to sit, chat and be comfortable! It being in the corner also made it more private and quieter! I would love to have this same condo on my next visit as I loved the light bright colors, very cheerful!

The room was in very good condition except for the floor fans which need to be cleaned.

My husband and I along with his brother and wife have been coming to Garden City for a lot of years. Last year was our first time at Surfmaster. It is a beautiful unit. The balcony is huge. Right on the water. Beautiful sunrises. We came back this year and were not disappointed. The owners had replaced the outdoor furniture with rocking chairs. The living room sofa could be replaced, but aside from that no complaints.

We have been vacationing in the area for 30 years and this is one of our favorite condos. The room was large,clean and beautiful. There were 2 adult couples and 2 children in the room with plenty of space for all. Both bedrooms were very large. It was so nice to be able to leave the room and be on the beach in 2 minutes.We walked every morning from the condo to both piers.Again a great condo.We will beback again!

Condo was fresh and clean. Love the decor!
Check-in person was more attentive to phone calls than to me. Range and stovetop took forever to heat up and never seemed to get hot enough to brown food. Possibly hooked to 120 instead of 240?
Aside from this problem, our stay was wonderful!

This condo was everything that was promised. Wonderful oceanfront view and spacious interior. Everything was in order, clean and inviting. We had thought of doing more sightseeing but the condo was so nice and the sound of the surf and lovely beach made it comfortable to just stay and relax on the balcony, by the pool or on the beach. We did drive up to Myrtle Beach to walk the boardwalk and see the sights. Spent some time in Murrells Inlet and enjoyed meals in several nice restaurants in the area. We will definitely return and have already recommended to others. Garden City Realty was great to work with and our representative, Jill, was very helpful and cordial when we caked for information and secured the rental.

Our stay in unit 511 was very nice. We come to the surfside/Garden City area a couple of times a year. This is our first stay at the Surfmaster. We stayed the first week in October. This is a good beach area. A few things could be updated. The carpet seemed older and worn, but I know replacing it with tile, or even new carpeting, can be a costly undertaking. The sink and shower fixtures could use some updating also. All in all it is a really nice unit with plenty of room for your family. The large sofa was excellent. Would book this unit again.

The apartment was very comfortable and the highlight was the fantastic
ocean views in both the living room and master bedroom. The condo was furnished with comfortable beds and furniture and supplies for all types of entertaining. It was a great place to watch the daily changes in the ocean and sky and observe porpoise and pelicans in their daily travels. It made for a restful and enjoyable vacation.

Great beachfront location. Property is pretty good condition. Hallway carpets need replaced. The condo was nicely furnished and mostly clean. The kitchen needs a deep cleaning. Inside drawers and cabinet fronts dirty.

Great experience! Location is brilliant and the beach directly in front of the building tends to be quieter. Balcony was brilliant - usable space overlooking the sea while maintaining privacy from the other units. You totally felt like the view was yours alone. Spent many mornings and evenings on the balcony.

Pool near the beach was an unexpected convenience for the kids when they needed a break from the waves.

Shag carpets felt very dated and a little worse for wear. Unit was a little worn and dirty in spots, but to be expected with a condo rental.

Dishwasher was broken when we arrived, but was fixed on Wed when a replacement part was available. Overall good service experience.

Highly recommend these units as value for money and outstanding location.

The condo was just great, very nice decor and a beautiful view of the beach, couldn't ask for a better place to stay if you want to walk the beach in a nice quite area. Very close to Murrells Inlet, that has great resturants an just a pretty area with the Marsh walk. If you want more action then you have to drive more north to the attractions in N Myrtle Beach with the shows and shops. We had a great time except for the cool cloudy weather,nothing you can due about that.
