P's Pleasures

This is the second year in this beautiful and spacious home. We are a large extended family group, renting both sides of the duplex. This is the first house we have found with this number of bedrooms and bathrooms, lovely pool, as well as ample refrigerator space, and seating for meals for 30+ people. The house is well maintained and ideally situated. We are already looking forward to next year!

I wrote a review on a prior rental and this year was another great experience. This was our 3rd time renting this property and outside of some small clutter from the upgrades that are in process the place was as expected.

We were an extended family group of around 35 people, from babies to grandparents, and rented both sides of the house. Loved the large kitchens, dual fridges and dishwashers, and ample seating, as we had all our meals at the house. Location was convenient to airport, grocery stores, and day-trip options. Beach was nice and so close, with lovely views from the balconies. We ended up using the pool more than we expected and it was a fun gathering spot for all ages. The 16 bedrooms and bathrooms allowed for privacy, and with enough space to gather in the common areas or on the porch. We had a few minor maintenance requests during the week, which were handled promptly. Already looking forward to our next stay at P’s and T’s!

This is our 2nd time renting this property, and we have used Garden City Realty more than a dozen times. The location is outstanding and the house was clean and as I remember. We (8 men) came down for a week of golf and this gave us 99% of what we wanted. It would have been 100% if there was a hot tub for our old sore bodies.

Our stay at P's Pleasure was a true pleasure! The house has plant of space and all the amenities we could need. We all loved that each bedroom has it's own bathroom, which made getting ready with a large group go much faster. P's Pleasure was very clean, its has a beautiful open floor plan, it has a tremendous view, and it has easy direct access to the beach,

These two properties were perfect for our family reunion. We had several very small children and the private pool was perfect for them. Having bathrooms for each bedroom was ideal. Kitchen well furnished. Rental location was ideal. Really had no complaints about this rental.

The house was large enough enough to accommodate our large family. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was super. The house was clean but there were a number of appliances that didn't work prior to our stay. The ice machine leaked the minute we turned it. The garbage disposal never worked which caused water to back up in the dishwasher. Info re: garbage days was confusing and we were not told we had to bring the bins to the curb. Directions to the rental office were incorrect. Despite all this we enjoyed our stay and would ask for this unit against in the future.

Great time at P's Pleasures, our second stay at the duplex property. So nice that each bedroom has its own bathroom and that the kitchen has double of almost everything. It's been three years since we stayed last and place could use some updating (furnishings tired, bathrooms, peeling wallpaper) to keep up with the wear and tear of frequent use.

Wonderful house for a family vacation. We had 20 people in the house and never felt cramped in any way. Amazing kitchen! Everyone enjoyed their own bedroom with a bathroom and television. Having a 1 year old, the safety gates on the decks were a blessing! house is well maintained and in a great location.

This place was marvelous. Our family rented both halves of the home, and the ease of having plenty of refrigeration space, and the ability to cook for 30+ people at the same time made things very pleasant. The rooms were large, and the privacy of your own bathroom was a bonus. The furnishings were nice, and the space for living, parking and the access to the beach made it a great experience for us all. We would give this property the highest recommendation possible.

We had 4 generations together in the 2 houses and all went well Ate together each evening with sufficient space for all.The pool was a boon to have on rough ocean days and afternoon sun.

We rented P's Pleasure for a family reunion. This house was roomy with an extra large kitchen and family room, so we never felt crowded. It was nice to have a pool on the property to relax in after dark. Our family loved this house and would definitely rent it again.

This is the 4th time we've stayed at P's and T's and all experiences have been very good. The only issue we had with the house was the lack of a working ice maker on both sides, both P's and T's.

House was clean & was fine for our group. Bathrooms a little small. No stereo. 2 old VHS players. We ended up going out & buying a speaker/iPod system to play music. Major complaint - acoustics. With all the tile & a large crowd it was really noisy! A rug or two would have been good in living area. Furniture was fine. Comfortable. A little worn. Overall an adequate place.

Everything was fine. The only thing I would add to the place is a hot tub. Some of us also had trouble with so many steps, but not much can be done about that. The kitchen was well supplied and everything worked well. The rooms were a bit small, but adequate. All the floors were either hard wood or tile, which was hard on our feet. If we come back to MB for a future family event, we would stay there again.

We had a large party and this house was great for our family. The nice thing was it had two of everything and a stand alone ice maker that allowed us to fill our coolers and take to the beach everyday. The location was great and the pool was just right for smaller children. would highly recommend.

Overall is was a good experience. Just a couple of smsll things. Ants on the countertops but we were able to keep them away with ant traps. One bedroom user reported ants in the bed but calling maintenance they came out quickly to take care of the problem.

With having a duplex I was under the assumption that Garden City Rental did not rent to young adults on spring breaks. We had young adults that came and stayed at separate times (4 days each) while on our stay. While mostly very well behaved there were a lot of them in one duplex and did party loudly a couple of nights...making it difficult for our balcony bedrooms to have quiet time to sleep.

They were not rowdy enough to be obnoxious and quieted down when asked. I was just surprised to find them able to make a rental.

I think I would prefer a single house or the entire house in the future.

The staff at Garden City Rental was always very helpful and gracious with all my phone calls to them.

This property is a gem. we were 16 golfers, able to book both sides P & T pleasure. with all 16 able to have own sleeping quarters & bath/shower. All Amenites were great. only thing I didnt understand is why we had to make our beds when we arrived. sheets/pillow cases thrown on you're bed in a plastic bag....?
only downfall, But this property is a excellent for large groups.

The living area was open and airy,the kitchen was a good size. There were 2 of most everything, fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer. There was an ice maker under the counter in the kitchen, which was great! The front porch was wonderful. The bedrooms were
not a huge size, but who spends a lot of time in there anyway? It would have been nice if there had been bigger and nicer bathrooms, but eh. The lights on the steps leading to the pool and inside the pool were repaired about midweek, so that was very nice.
There were a few light bulbs out, but I'm sure if we had asked, they would have replaced them. I will say that we were surprised that although it listed 8 bedrooms/8 baths, not all bedrooms had a private bath. The 2 bedrooms downstairs each had a bathroom,
but it was located outside the kitchen; that meant that other people used them as well. That was really the only downside. As picky as I am about choosing the "right" beach house, I could stay in this one again next year.
