Compass Rose 11

Plenty of room for 6 adults and one 19 month old, nice size living area kitchen and dining room. Plenty of seating in living area.We loved the screen porch. Smaller bedroom does not have a ceiling fan and was warm, called and floor fan brought right away. Both king mattresses definitely need replacing, faucet leaking in hall bath.

First time at Compass Rose. Great location and friendly folks. Spent most my time on the back porch.. Perfect for that morning sunrise and late night cool breeze and fireworks.. Keyless system is great. Look forward to returning..

Excellent location, very clean, roomy, this was at a beach location that was not asd populated or commercialized. Loved it !
CONCERNS : with 8 people in the unit, the hot/warm water was gone after the 1st bath. Cold showers ! Also, something is wrong with the A/C air you go in the condo, rooms on the right are warm/hot and rooms on the left are icey !
If these things are repaired , I'd love to return !

Aside from cool weather and some family illness, the rental experience was good. We had an issue with a broken bed and the Maintenance Staff came right away and repaired that. We definitely plan to be back.

We were so pleased with our recent stay. The location to the ocean and pool couldn’t have been better! The beach was quiet and not crowded. We hated to leave and would definitely go back again!

This property is in a great size and location for my sister and our adult daughters. We loved that it was a property with only 8 units rather than a huge high rise. Easy self check in. My only suggestions would be to replace the recliner and include a blow dryer in the bathrooms. We hope to make a return trip in the future.

Me and my family have rented from Garden City Realty many times over the last 3 years. Garden City Realty and staff are 5 Star!!!!! Compass Rose is one of the top 3 places we have stayed!! We will be back next year. They even refunded us money for the elevator not working and we didnt even ask for any money back. First class people.

Great October at Garden City Beach.
First floor unit was perfect for access to beach and screened porch was convenient for putting away beach chairs, etc. Beach front area was nice and not crowded. Garden City Realty made booking the property stress free. Will use them again.

The property was right on the water and the ease to the beach was amazing. The condo itself needs some updating, the furniture is old and worn, the shower heads need to be replaced and there was no ladder to get to the top of the bunkbeds. Property was clean and had a great view.

This was our 2nd stay with Garden City Realty and Compass Rose 11. This however was our first 15 night stay. Everything was great. We love the location, this condo seems to really fit our style and the staff was very professional and courteous once again. There were a few maintenance issues that need attention. A piece of trim at the top of the rear stairs is sticking and catches your foot as you start down the steps and one of the stair treads part way down the steps is completely loose and sometimes slides off when you step on it. I also thought the facility was pet free. However there were 3 different dogs here during our stay. We didn't mind the dogs though.

We enjoyed our week visiting relatives in Myrtle Beach area.The weather, however, was not good - rainy, cold and windy - so we didn't spend much time on the beach or on the balconies. We did enjoy the "Night of a 1,000 Candles" despite the cold. The condo was nice and homey and comfortable for us. But we were disappointed that, because of the dunes, we did not have a view of the beach. The kitchen was well-stocked and the living area had many places to sit. The beds were good for sleeping.

We stay here almost every year and there doesn't appear to be any updates. Same furniture for past 10 years. Had lots of roaches and spiders. My daughter even got bitten by one.

Having the offer to come in Friday was much appreciated. The unit was not clean. There were metal washers on the flor (square with sharp edges) and debris on the floor. The bunk beds had sheets left in them which was yucky to have to take them off. While it worked in our favor, sheets and towels were provided which we promptly used only to find out that it was a mistake. We love Compass Rose and stay in this unit yearly but it needs some updating. The recliner has holes in the upholstery. There were only six teaspoons and one serving spoon and a few odd spoons so we had to run the dishwasher frequently even though half full. We live the bed arrangements with bunk beds. We never received a text saying the unit was ready (on Friday) even though the unit was not rented the week before.

Condo was nicely appointed with all the things one would need. Roomy and we’ll kid out. Good internet access. The building only has 8 unites so our pool was not overcrowded. Right on the beach. Large screened porch had nice rockers which we enjoyed. Down one easy flight of stairs to pool and beach. Quiet residential area with marsh on the other side of street but an easy walk to ice cream, a few restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay here again.
