2024 was our first stay at Surfmaster 904, and certainly will not be our last. The building and condo were everything we hoped for, right on the beach with a spectacular view of sunrises/sunsets. The condo itself was in great condition; rooms were plenty big, the kitchen had everything we would need for a week, and the building was easy to get in/out of. The pool/hot tub area was also in great condition, and we had no issues accessing the pool or the beach direct from the facility. We cannot recommend this condo and facility high enough, and look forward to our next stay.

All aspects of Garden City Realty as a rental company was a great experience: friendly representatives, excellent communication, complete guidance for a trouble free vacation rental.

The unit, however, was disappointing in that there was virtually nothing provided for the guests. It was clean...but there was nothing to use to wipe down anything or clean in any way. There were four tissues in an almost empty box, two half rolls of toilet paper, and almost no paper towels on a roll. No beach items at all. No ice or water dispenser on the fridge. One trash bag other than the trash bag in the container. Guests will need to go shopping immediately upon arrival. This may be the standard situation for most rentals, but my previous experiences at SurfMaster were very different.

I have stayed at other rentals in this building (using other rentals methods) that provided much more in the way of basic items. I am not sure if this has to do with the actual owner of the property, but someone should provide just a little more to guests in the way of basic supplies and beach items.

The beds were not the most comfortable, but there were plenty of linens, towels and washcloths available. The coffee maker was fine.

In the future, I would likely choose a different unit if others were available...for comparison purposes, if nothing else.

This 2 bedroom 2 bath condo is well equipped. The rocking chairs on the large balcony are perfect for early morning sunrise. Beds are firm. Unit has laundry. Sand is soft on the feet and clean in front of the condo. Location is good. Area is quiet.

This was one of the best runits we have rented at Surf Master. Property was clean and bright. Well equipped kitchen although we would hav preferred a Kurig coffee maker. Love the coverings for the beach side windows, so easy to use. Will definitely rent this unit again.

This is our 2nd winter rental in this unit. The bed in the master bedroom is awesome! There is plenty of storage. The 1st half of the condo gets all of the heat and the 2nd half is colder. There is a light in the outside hallway that prevents the 2nd bedroom from getting totally dark. Furniture is comfortable and everything is clean. They added a smart TV this year which was a great add. The Condo management in 2021 allowed mail and packages delivered and stopped it in 2022, so it is a little inconvenient. I would stay here again!

The room was wonderful! The view is amazing. We love the Surfmaster & this unit did not disappoint. Walked to the Garden City Pier every morning at sunrise. It’s a little over 1 mile to the pier. Ate at Muriels Inlet every night. Another great vacation. Would stay in 904 again!

In the many condos and units we have stayed in throughout the years, this was by far, the best. It was a last minute booking and the owners were kind enough to allow us to stay four nights instead of the entire week. We were very happy with our stay in Unit 904N overall. Beautiful Oceanfront Condo. Equipped Kitchen. Great Place to stay. Only a few complaints. The Master Bedroom sliding glass door would not slide open with ease. Could not use all week. That was a real disappointment. The second bedroom had a problem with tub draining. The dryer filter came off and no way to put back on to do our laundry unless Maintenance came up but did not want. Last 2 days the beach was under construction (moving sand?)and could not access the beach and construction noise was all night long.

The condo was very clean and up to date with decorating and furniture. A plus was that we were able to check in a little early as well upon arrival. We wished the den had a larger TV in it - I think there was a 32 or 40 inch in there? Our other wish would be that the bed in the master bedroom be replaced as it was worn out. Mattress was un-even and dipped and everytime one of us moved the entire mattress moved and disturned the other person. Not very comfortable to sleep in and get a good nights rest. We would come again and stay in this unit if the mattress was replaced. I would have given 5 stars if it were not for the mattress issue.

This is a very nice unit. Everything you could need to start your stay was there. Very quiet unit. Great deck overlooking the ocean. The unit itself is larger in square footage (1250’) which made it feel very homey. This the nicest unit we have rented in 4 times staying in MB.

We enjoyed our stay, was the best looking and most updated condo we ever stayed in during our 30+ years of vacationing in a condo. Beds were super comfortable. Only complaint we have is the complex needs better way of handling parking passes. Because of the tag that hangs on the mirror, we always take it off when driving due to it blocking our view. One night we forgot to put it back on the mirror and our car was towed! It costs us $44 for the cab and $160 for the towing fee (I consider this price gouging by the towing company) and they would only take cash! I wish the complex would consider taking license plate #s or giving guests a static cling parking pass to put on windshield. This would be much better way of handling. If they continue the practice of towing cars away, they should at least hire a towing company that is closer and more fair with their prices and one that takes credit cards.

It's our goal to provide exceptional accommodations here at Surf Master and the standard is being raised more and more each year. I do apologize though that your car was towed while you were here. Unfortunately, we have little control of how the HOA enforces the parking regulations on-site. Similarly, we have little influence over the types of parking passes that are distributed to homeowners each year. I will do my best to relay your frustration to the HOA board in hopes that they will review the process. We have stayed in Surfmaster unit 904 multiple times. It is always a great condo to stay in. We stayed in the condo during October 2016 when hurricane Matthew struck. There was some damage to the unit. It was great to see how the unit had been completely remodeled. This is a great condo. And Garden City Realty is great to deal with.

Surfmaster 904 is well maintained and nicely decorated. The living room furniture is very comfortable and attractive. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and we stayed a month and cooked many meals. It might be a little deceiving to say the master bath is handicapped accessible. The only feature we noticed was a tall toilet. we would stay here again. The views of the ocean from Surfmaster can't be beat. You feel like you are on the beach!

This feature was included in the property description after a privacy wall was removed from beside the toilet in the master bathroom. owners could supply remote for the DVD player.
without remote cannot play all episodes on some DVDs. Do not watch TV and the TV series that I brought along was to be my quiet time entertainment.
Condo was very nice, would rent again.
Owners need to do just a little.Master bedroom pillows need to be discarded and bed spread needs washed or dry cleaned. Was an odor.
other than those 2 items I would rate at 100%.
I did not use the pillows and turned the bedspread down every night. All staff and Pinnacle employees were very professional.
Really did not want to leave and look forward to renting this unit again.

We arrived at 4pm on Sunday April 10,2016 but were unable to get into the condo. Apparently, when the keys were left on the counter, someone forgot to unlock the door. After riding for four hours, my wife needed to use the bathroom facilities in a hurry. After a couple of telephone calls, a maintenance employ came and let us in. Aside from that, our stay was wonderful. We love the accommodations and the ocean view is magnificent. We hope to return soon to the same unit.

Our unit was beautiful, clean and offered a spectacular view of the beach and ocean. It was quiet most of the time, and the Management company kept us informed about the construction that was going on at the time of our visit. Construction was a bit annoying because of the parking situation, but it was done quickly and only inconvenienced us for a short time.

Overall, this unit was very nicely furnished and clean. We could have used a blanket for the guest room and hide-abed as we had family guests for President's Weekend. The bedspreads are rather heavy. The front door and window are very drafty.
The kitchen is quite well equipped (Knives are very dull). Our location is very good, and near things we wanted. The parking situation, beginning in Feb. is a real bummer! The ladies in the office are very cordial and helpful. Our view is beautiful. The construction and remodeling noises were quite annoying at times, and I imagine this will be an ongoing problem for a couple of years.

Condo was clean on arrival and well equipped for vacationers. Furniture was upscale and enhanced by the many art objects and mirrors. TVs, though small were flat screens and worked well. Access to the internet was easy though the server seemed slow compared to my home service. Beds were already made on arrival and towel allotment was generous. Check-in was quick and office staff very helpful. Since it was late in season parking was not a problem. Views from the 9th floor are awesome. We hope to rent the property again.

The condo was very well furnished and comfortable. The nightly late night fireworks was very bothersome and made if impossible to sleep. Something needs to be done about the idiots setting off fireworks after 10pm.

Fireworks are not to be shot from any balcony. However, they are legal to be shot on the beach until 11:00 p.m. If someone is shooting fireworks after 11:00 p.m. it can be reported to the County Police Department at and they will respond. The county has a noise ordinance in effect after 11:00 p.m.

I selected a vacation condo simply from the on-line virtual tour. Oh my! The panoramic view shown from the balcony was breathtaking, and the furnishings were so elaborate! However, would Surfmaster 904 really look like the virtual tour? Yes, yes, yes!! The condo was fantastic. My husband and I had with us our three grandchildren, ages 5, 8, and 11, for their last summer fling before the start of school on 8/4/14. The condo was very clean, close to the elevator, and had anything one would need...well-stocked kitchen, wonderful showerheads, beach chairs for our use, plus two comfortable beds and a sofa bed, and much, much more. The pool and hot tub were perfect, in addition to the proximity to the beach which was just a few steps away. The children were from beach, to pool, to hot tub, simply back and forth for a week. Ordinarily, we would have been pooped, but the convenience of location of the three was so easy for us. Children were everywhere, so our grandchildren had fun with the others! Murrells Inlet had wonderful restaurants (Drunken Jack's is a yum! yum!), and the Marsh Walk was an extra treat. Had the grandchildren not been with us, there are many other activities my husband and I would have done; however, the trip was for the kids, and we followed their lead. They loved the water, the sand, ice cream parlors (Painters was soooo good), Gilligan's Island golf, and more. They weren't difficult to please...just happy to be at the beach. Garden City Rentals employees were so helpful with my reservation and would have helped us in any way possible. I would highly recommend #904 Surfmaster by the Sea to all and tell you to take time to enjoy the fabulous balcony view!! Have fun!! (Extra note for families with children...Surfmaster is very family/children friendly, and that is a big plus!)

We loved our condo. I will definitely rent the same condo #904 again. Master bedroom bed was very comfortable and all furniture in the unit was very nice. We love the floor to ceiling windows that allows the sun to shine through the whole condo. We loved every minute of our stay. We have been visiting this area for 25 years and I think that Surfmaster offers the best condo experience and is my first choice.
Only negative is it's time for Surfmaster to change the dirty exterior hall carpeting that lead to every condo front door.

Great, except for such an upgraded unit, it had a very old tv in the main area, and bedroom tvs were only about 12" Two of us were recouping from surgery,so inside a lot,would have appreciated HD tv,flat screen to match the rest of the decor,after all, WalMart has them for very good prices almost every weeekend.Also the elevators in our bldg,only two, one broken,no excuse this day and time knowing the busy time of the year is almost always at the beach,so this should have been taken care of fast,waiting takes up our vacation took way too long to get up and down to the pool and beach area, and we learned from others, it has been broken a while, not the day before we got there..

Disappointed that the new cable hookup does not include the Golf channel. We should have been informed of this as we are avid golfers. Upon arrival, we requested this change but nothing transpired.
The pre booking rental fee of 50% should ensure the same amenities as previously provided.

My family & I have vacationed in Garden City a few years now, and we've always stayed at a Surfmaster condo. Property 904 is definitely the nicest unit we've rented so far! Being so beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, it's obvious the property owners take great pride in their unit. They must take up temporary residence here, as we sure felt at home! 904 is conveniently located near the elevator, yet noise was not an issue. A nice plus was having beach chairs available for our use, so we didn't have to bring our own. I did notice the front bedroom window didn't latch/lock very well, so I purchased a small wooden board for use as an additional "lock". I notified the desk on check-out, so I'm sure it will be fixed. Our only negative about the unit was the cleanliness (hair on bathroom floor and crumbs in frig)--looked like it received just a quick vacuum and wipe-down before we arrived. We highly recommend 904, and we hope to stay here again!

First time at Myrtle Beach. Booked on-line with Garden City Realty and it was so easy and nice. Surfmaster #904 was wonderful. Nice oceanfront condo. We loved the area and are considering bringing our children/grandchildren back with us in the near future.

We stayed in 904 this year (709 last year). It was super convenient, right off the elevator, easy beach/pool access, and was beautifully decorated and stocked. There were plenty of dishes, kitchen appliances, gadgets, etc. There are chairs, an umbrella and sand toys in the closet (wouldn't have brought my own had I known that). Plenty of towels available and the W/D worked well, which is not always the case. My only 2 recommendation would be for the owners to install a ceiling fan in the bedrooms and the shower floor in the MB is a little "wobbly". We will definitely stay at 904 again. I think the owners have put a lot of thought into making their renters comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

We had a great time on our trip this year. We are frequent visitors and the only reason why it isn't 5 stars across the board was that there was no Air Conditioning on Friday.
