Surf Master 405

Overall a great experience, our family has stayed at Surfmaster for years and in this unit the past two years. Very clean, updated and love the layout.

The property was exactly as pictured. The unit was clean with everything on hand that we needed for our month long stay.There were plenty of linens provided and having a washer dryer in the unit was fabulous! The location was incredible, right on the beach with gorgeous views 24/7. We put in a couple of calls to maintenance for very minor issues and they were very responsive and pleasant.The area was quiet, as we were there off season. Tons of restaurants and shopping nearby. Overall, a really great place to stay.

Surf Master accommodations are excellent. Well maintained grounds and buildings. We have been extremely pleased with the condo we rented. It had all the amenities of home with a well equipped kitchen. The spectacular sunrises from the balcony are priceless. Many fine dining opportunities are close by. Garden City Realators are wonderful to work with available whenever you have any questions or concerns. Our agent worked diligently to put us in the same unit next year(our 5th ). We highly recommend Garden City Realtor for your vacation dream.

We stayed in Surf Master 405 and it was the best. Very clean and well-maintained. There was an open house at the Garden City Realty office and I won a $25 gift certificate to the Wahoo Fish House in Murrells Inlet. I can't praise it enough, it was so good. Being in a beautiful condo on the beach is wonderful. We enjoyed our month stay there and will definitely go back.

Surf Master is a top notch destination for snowbirds.

Surf Master units are centrally located in Garden City, SC. The grounds are well maintained even in the off season. A hot tub was clean and inviting even in February. The staff we encountered were friendly, courteous, and responsive to our needs.There was ample convenient parking. The unit we rented (405) was well equipped and attractively appointed. It has been recently updated. We booked again for next year.

We love garden city beach and come nearly every year. We did not know what to expect this year under the circumstances but were delightfully surprised. Check in and check out were very easy and the condo itself was wonderful. We definitely hope to stay again.

Great location and well appointed condo with amazing views of the ocean. Everything was decorated for the beach and was fairly clean as long as you didn't look under the nightstands of beds. That was a little gross. The dishwasher also wasn't working but we told management about that issue. Would recommend this unit.

My family and I loved staying this close to the beach, nothing compares to falling asleep or waking up to the sound of waves meeting up with the shore. We loved staying in 405. The place is beautiful and I love the modern beach look to it. The only downfall I would say is unfortunately as soon as I got there I had to sweep the floor and noticed a lot of areas on cupboards and dressers that weren't cleaned properly. But that would not stop me from coming back to 405. This room was perfect fit for our family. Also the distance up, is perfect for a nice view of the ocean. I would highly recommend this room.

My wife and I stayed here as our honeymoon vacation. We really enjoyed the condo. It was very nice and very clean. I have to say, the pictures didn’t really do this place justice. We hoped it would look just like the pictures, but it was in fact better. We really loved staying here, and we’d definitely stay here again.

This place is spectacular. Extremely clean. All the amenities we needed. Wonderful to have a washer & dryer right in the unit. The building staff kept the are immaculately clean. Check-in was super easy. Check-out simple too. Love how easily we could access the beach. Ample parking too. Loved it!

Love staying at Surfmaster by the Sea! Being in a condo on the beach for a month is the best! Waking up to the sound of the ocean waves and watching the sun rise over the ocean can’t be beat! The office staff is wonderful! Great area restaurants and golf! I would highly recommend staying there!

Loved the condo, perfect location. Beds were comfortable. Be careful in the guest bedroom the transition strip is gone and you step on small nails. Other than that I would come back every year

Experience was very good. some improvement could be made with the following: availability of recycle bins for building, rug is due for a clean and replace, spare room beds are satisfactory but not great. Hot water is borderline with multi users. Heated would be outstanding. and another bike rack would be helpful. Lastly, are the pillows cleaned between use.

Beautiful location. Loved taking naps on the outside deck in our zero gravity chairs. Pool and hot tub always clean.
Only two problems, kitchen cabinets were sticky and where carpet was coming up stepped on little nails.

Condo was as described and very clean. Beds were particularly comfy and the sofa bed was a typical sofa bed.
View was amazing, area was quiet and low key; perfect for a family with younger kids (10 & 7 in this case). We didn't mind the drive to outings (Broadway on the Beach, Barefoot Landing) since most of our time was spent on the beach. This location cannot be beat for that.

Surfmaster was Wonderful. Everything was convenient we plan to stay in 2016 hopefully in the Same room. ALL OF THE staff were Always ready to help and make our stay pleasant. We have been coming to Myrtle Beach for 10 yrs. For vacation and actually stayed at other properties of Garden City Realty But this year was one of the Best & will deff. Stay at This property Again.

Very nice. I like the proximity of the condo building to the ocean. The view from the condo was unbeatable. The unit was very nice, clean, all peripherals worked well (air conditioning, refrigerator, hot water heater, showers, sliding glass doors, linen service and final cleaning was included in price.) I really liked the size of the balcony, four people were very comfortable and protected from the weather.

Only concern I had was not enough hot water. I do not take long showers at home consider myself a conservative but when a second person started a shower it was already cold. Also it would be nice and convenient to have a restroom on the pool level. We had a toddler with us and going back upstairs with wet suits for bathroom breaks was inconvenient. Would like to also have recycle bins for trash at least for cans and bottles.

Everything was nice in this unit except kitchen utensils, glassware, pots & pans, dishes etc. need an update. It was like going to a flea mkt. Very sparce and disorganized.
Master BR mattress was uncomfortable and they didn't put a sheet over the mattress pad. Didn't notice till leaving.
Furnishings were very comfortable and view was beautiful.

We had a great family experience. The condo was very clean and available upon our arrival. Everything from grocery store, great restaurants was all very close. I have been to Myrtle Beach numerous times and prefer staying in South Myrtle. Less congestive and not as busy.

We have been staying at various units in Surfmaster for years and always the first full week of June. We have been increasing our stay every year and this year it was two full weeks. We started out in Surfmaster 705, but that was unsatifatory (in poor condition, needs painting, carpets etc) and we moved to this unit. 405 has been recently painted, carpets were clean, tile in kitchen and entry way. A great location and we would rent it again except during this trip we bought a home in Surfside Beach. The kitchen could use a bit more stuff and better quality like silverware,cutlery. Surfmaster is a great location, 1.2 miles from the Garden City pier, a block from the Conch restaurant. The property management is excellent and friendly (be sure to compliment them), they keep the common areas like elevators and landings, pools etc in very clean condition, there is security all night in the parking area, though I am not sure why. Garden City Realty has a office in the building so there is no running off to get or return keys, they are also friendly and responsive.

THE ORIGINAL CONDO ( A 1 BEDROOM) WE RENTED TURNED OUT TO BE COMPLETELY UNSATISFACTORY OLD WORN OUT AND DIRTY. (DID NOT LOOK LIKE PICTURES ON INTERNET). ATER WE MADE THE OFFICE AWARE OF OF THIS, THEY QUICKLY GAVE US A 2 BR CONDO WHICH WAS NEWLY RENOVATED, SPOTLESS AND BEAUTIFUL. WE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED OUR WEEKS STAY AFTER THE MOVE. We were very happy with our stay in February 2014. The kitchen was stocked better than I had anticipated and the beds were very comfortable. There was cleaning crews out and about and we never saw a sandy floor by the elevators leading in from the beach. That is a feat in its own the central location made it easy for sight seeing, yet far enough away from the hubbub of Myrtle Beach. I will miss waking up to view of the ocean.

great vacation for our family of 5. we all loved the room & location of the surfmaster 405. we had plenty of room for 2 rowdy boys and baby. my husband had great luck fishing from the surf. october was a great time to go. the staff was friendly, had no problems to report. check in and out was easy. beautiful views, very clean and nice only suggestions for the master bedroom would be better pillows....they were very flat. overall, we would love to return to surfmaster 405. great time had by all.

The only thing the unit needs are new mattresses and a comforter for the King bed. That wouldn,t stop us from renting the unit. Great view.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay. The owners did some updates since last year. They still need a new king bed and bedding in Master, but that wouldn't stop us from taking this unit. The view is incredible from balcony, pool, and beach. We stay three weeks and only leave for church and groceries. We walked one block up the beach to the conch cafe twice or else cooked in our room as our view is so beautiful.

We found our unit to be exactly as shown in the video. Every thing was neat and clean. Our dryer was not working properily,and it was fixed within 24 hours. The view was FABULOUS,it was hard to leave even to go out to dinner. We preferred eating in. Wonderful restaurant just up the beach you can walk to. We preferred the two bedroom,two full bath even though there was just the the Wtwo of us because then the master bedroom is facing the ocean rather than in the back of the unit. Pools are clean,beach is quiet,grocery store close,plus plenty of good restaurants. Next time I will only pack half as many clothes.lots of nice people and quiet. Our only negatives would be to keep the elevators a bit CPR cleaner,and new mattresses for our unit. We loved the fact we didn't have to bring our own linens and that they had maid service upon departure. It is hard enough packing to leave this place, and if we would have to clean it would have depressed us more. We liked the idea that Maids were not coming in every day. We stayed for two weeks so I just washed the sheets once and the towels every few days. Oh, I wish the lawn furniture on the deck was more comfortable,we looked to buy one chaize lounge and leave it but couldn't find one.

Wonderful location! Being over the age of 25, we prefer the Garden City/Surfside Beach area of SC. The Surfmaster is the perfect place to stay. Located right next to the lifeguard stand and within easy walking distance to either pier. Plenty of parking. The only negative was the hot water ran out quickly. Will definitely stay here again!

Surfmaster #405 was the best with beautiful decor and view. The only negative was the twin beds desperately need new mattresses. If you move at all while in bed the squeaking is so loud it will wake you. overall it was a very pleasant stay and definitely would stay there again.

We had been searching the internet for an affordable oceanfront condo.... I stumbled on Surfmaster....Talked my family into it (there were 10 of us total in 2 condos. They trusted me. I had only seen pics on your website and you know how deceiving they
can be sometime. The nite before we left, they decided to look at the website. We leave tomorrow. WOW! Anyway, we were all THRILLED with the location, the look of the condos, the staff, the amenities and EVERYTHING. We definitely plan to go back. Great Place!

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The only thing I would change is put Curtains in The Master Bedroom because when the air condition is on it blows the blinds and they make a clicking noise which wakes you up during the night and Curtains would also make this room a little darker in the mornings. Overall the place was very nice and clean.

tub drained slow and shower ran out quickly, maintenance came over and promptly took care of it. Other than that everything was in good order. Condo was clean and the furniture was clean. Overall it was very nice.
