Once again our family had a wonderful vacation.

This is an older home with older appliances. Everything worked well, water was hot, AC was cold. Great water pressure in the showers. Beds were comfortable. Has all of the kitchen gadgets you would need but again, dated. There are NO frequently used food items like salt/pepper, cooking spray, coffee filters, aluminum foil, etc.

Location was great. Plenty of bedrooms and baths. Older house so could use some attention. Living room furniture needs replacing and refrigerator. Air conditioner worked well on very hot days. I would recommend this property with some reservations.

This is a classic GCB house. The pictures are accurate. It could use a great deal of attention but the value is phenomenal for the location. A few things to take note of: there is not a water hose under the house so it makes rinsing equipment off a bit tedious. There are 3 TV’s as listed but they do not have cable at all. They should add streaming services because the TV are useless. The home has great A/C and wide open views but the lack of window coverings means hot afternoons and blinding sunlight while trying to relax around the dinner table. All in all the house has old charm but definitely needs some TLC .

We had a great time on family vacation! There were 12 of us, 6 adults and 6 teenagers! House was very comfortable for all of us, showers were good NEVER ran out of hot water! Location was great! Loved having our coffee on the rocking chairs overlooking the ocean!!

Overall the house is nice......but unfortunately we were greeted by the roaches as we entered the house. The roaches seem to be only in the Kitchen area. I contacted the realty company Monday morning 9:am in person to make aware of the problem. Someone visited either Tuesday or Wednesday to address the roaches. Wednesday evening the roaches seem to be worse. I contacted realty company by phone and I was directed to maintenance dept. There seemed to be no urgency because I never heard from or witnessed any spraying on the problem. The dryer does not dry well at all. We fixed the plumbing under the right side of kitchen sink on Monday after it disconnected own it's own. The master bedroom toilet stopped up multiple times, I was able to use the plunger to resolve.The same toilet seems to have a leak it the tank as well. The owners need to invest and update amenities; suggestions would be to place blinds on the kitchen windows. The evening sun was blinding during dinner hours for our guest facing toward that direction. The back porch was awesome, may make part of it screened:) Garden City as a whole is an awesome vacation area. I enjoyed the fact that I didn't have to leave the area and travel in traffic. Local restaurants and businesses with-in golf cart distance. Having the Wal-mart near was also a plus. The beach area incredible.

We’ve been renting this house since 1973 and it’s a gem. The owners have done more than upkeep. They’ve made improvements that increase capacity but retain a relaxing timelessness that is exactly what we need. The quality of the beach in front is excellent. You can hear the waves and see the ocean easily. It is distant from the Pier traffic but the fun stuff is easily accessible. From the deck you can see the light of Murrill’s Inlet - the best seafood in the state. Shopping is a few minutes out on Rt.17. We hope Love’s a Beach never changes.

House is clean and overall nice. Quite a few small maintenance issues. Toilet upstairs is not secured to floor, light fixture on back porch practically rotted out. Hose downstairs leaks. Lots of small stuff, still worth staying there. Rental agency folks amazing, thanks to cleaning staff, I bet they work hard.

While the house was in a great location, it could use some updates and some thorough cleaning. The ceiling fans were extremely dusty and the porch light on the ocean side was rusty and broken. Not that we would have used it (bugs). We spent a lot of time enjoying that deck. The rooms were set up nicely. Comfortable; plenty of space. Shared bathroom on first floor-shower water pressure was almost non existent; while others were great. Saw 2 cockroaches during our stay. Overall a good place, just some issues.

We decided last minute to rent this house for a quick fall break getaway. It did not disappoint. It's an older home but well maintained. We loved the quaint beach feel of the decorations. We would definitely rent again. We had 3 adults and 2 children and it was quite roomy for this size group. The wicker furniture in the living area was cute but not so comfortable. But we spent most of our time at the beach, so it was doable!

Great view. A/C worked well. Beds were pretty good but some needed replacing. The place would be perfect if there were updated living and dining room furniture. The wicker furniture is uncomfortable. Property was clean. There were a few dead water bugs found but would assume the house was recently exterminated.

We were impressed at how clean this house was. While the water pressure in the jack n jill bath was horrible, we were happy with our stay. There was a problem with one of the door locks and Garden City Rentals came right away to get it fixed. The only really bad thing was the week went way too fast!

Our experience at Love’s a Beach as a family of 9 was great. We had all ages 9-71 and the layout was perfect. Beautiful beach and ocean views. Location is perfect. Close enough to the fun but far enough for peace and quiet.
Our only two complaints were ants and the air filters. We had quite the problem with ants and they persisted even after they came out to spray. I think they whole house needs to be treated not just a few rooms. Also, the air conditioner was struggling to keep up. We checked the filters and the were pretty clogged.
The nice thing is that both issues were dealt with within hours so even though the ants persist the reality company did their absolute best at trying to correct both problems in a timely manner. I would definitely stay here again!!!

Loved the porch and rocking chairs. That was my favorite place at night and in the morning. The living room was not real comfortable with the wicker furniture. All beds were good. The upper bedroom with just one bed should have at least a single bed also for children

Our stay at Love's a Beach was very relaxing and quite enjoyable. The pictures of the two upstairs bedrooms don't do the property justice. They are very spacious and very comfortable. Plenty of room for the entire family. We would definitely stay again. The only thing that I would watch out for is the steps in the front of the property. The last step before the turn down to the ground is very hard to see and many of us tripped down the stairs. My husband was coming down at night and wiped out spraining his ankle. Good thing it was the night before we left.

This beach house is older, but was so perfect for my family! Everything was clean and none of that moldy smell that I can’t stand. Kitchen was well supplied, and the upstairs bedrooms and baths were huge! The outside showers and grill were a nice bonus- would stay again in a heartbeat

This rental was exactly what I needed for the weekend. The location was perfect right on the beach. The house was cleaned smelled fresh not like chemicals. Everything worked flawlessly. The rental process could not have been any easier. The people that I spoke to during the rental process couldn't have been any kinder or more helpful. This is a 10 star review out of a five-star system. I will be a repeat customer

Love's A Beach is a cute, cozy cottage! The upstairs' bedrooms (and baths) are spacious, with excellent ocean views. Loved our vacation at Garden City!! (Make sure not to leave anything on the beach overnight or you can get fined.)
