Surf Master 204

Condo is nice. Good view. No closet in master bedroom.**** Be aware,**** it is located directly
above the gym and loud vibrating music
woke us at 6am on 2 mornings

We were very happy with condo. Everything was as expected. Grandsons loved the rain shower in Master bath & "puzzle" table overlooking the ocean. Everything is so convenient & sound proof. We could hear nothing above or below or even inside within each bedroom. Like another reviewer, we thought Master mattress was too soft, but we managed. Of note- there us no hanging closet in Master bedroom but there is plenty of drawer space. We just used 2nd bedroom closet for hanging. Also, unit had 2 blowdryers- bonus!we would return to thus unit!

I love this one. I’ve rented this unit several years. My only negative is the bed in the main bedroom isn’t very comfortable and the sofa and love seat are a little worn.

Excellent unit and beautiful experience for our month of March. Problem with setup of TV was handled perfectly by Dan from maintenance. Would appreciate balcony furniture that can be cleaned of pollen. Teak furniture difficult to clean. Sofa cushions sink in too low! Returning next year.

It's all about the ocean.The views of sunrises,dolphins, birds and the beach walks.The condo was very well stocked with amenities,furniture,lighting. We viewed our condo on line and knew it would be great.Garden city staff was friendly,helpful with a minor issue and knew so much of the area.

We didnt have to bring anything. Everything we needed, We would have liked to have recliners. But thats not a negative thing. We knew this before we choose this place.

Great spot,super clean. Living room tv difficult to manage but who needs tv. I prefer a firm mattress but that's personal preference..would definitely come back

We love staying at Surfmaster. The unit was a nice size and nicely done. The only issue we had was the appliances need to be updated. The oven takes a very long time to heat up and the refrigerator was not working the first night we were there. We contacted maintenance but they never responded. Thankfully it started working the next day. The ice maker also did not work. We encountered 2 cockroaches during our visit that quickly were put to 'rest". Overall it was a nice stay and very relaxing.

Surf Master 204 was excellent for people with handicaps and mobility issues. The master bath was set up perfectly to accommodate handicap individuals and it was located close to the elevator. The rental was excellent and there were no problems.

The condo was lovely and spacious for the two of us. Views were great...loved all the windows. Though on the second floor, above the pool, the balcony and condo felt private. We appreciated having the pool and easy access to the beach, as well as the lovely 1-mile stroll to the GC pier. We'd love to come back.

This condo was very clean and quite roomy. It was obvious the unit had been recently renovated and the beach theme was not overdone like some of the condos we frequent. In the kitchen, it would have been nice to have a dish drainer and some oven mitts. Also, the living area furniture is not comfortable due to lack of cushioning and support. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay in this condo.

Golf and Gambling get a way to this perfect spot! Golf courses close by. Food close by! Great to wake up with a view of the sunrise and ocean. Garden City Pier is a walk away. Condo is well kept and clean. Call Mary and she’ll hook you up.

Excellent as always! Been coming here since the Late 80's. Great Place for Kids and Adults. Location is perfect. You are hour from Charlestown, short dive to Pawleys Island must try Locals Restaurant, Wahoo's at Merriel's Inlet. The River Stream Cafe and Conch Shell which is in walking distance from your condo. There are also many other great restaurants in the area and I can not go with out mentioning Benjamin's Coffee House in Surfside great coffee, pastry's and sandwiches etc. The beach front is fantastic. This unit is perfect. Well be back next year too! Come stay!

We had a great time. The rental was very nice and clean. We enjoyed the view of the ocean from the balcony. We wished there had been a recliner in the place to relax in the evening. The glass in the doors going out to balcony and on side of living room needs replaced. And the sliding glass door didn’t shut good. But we had a real nice stay.

Surf Master 204 is newly redone. Very nice finishes. Shower in master bath is great. It is handicap accessible. There was no place to hang clothes in the master bedroom but there is drawers and a closet with shelves. We enjoyed our stay there but would prefer a higher floor to get better views.

We had a wonderful stay at Surfmaster by the Sea #204. The condo was recently updated and was fabulous. Clean and a well supplied kitchen. We had no complaints about the office or maintenance at the facility. The location on the beach and between the piers was perfect. We have booked for next year as well. Thank you .

The unit is beautiful and we stayed for the month of February. Owner renovations were exceptionally well done. We would certainly stay in the unit again. Building renovations were difficult to deal with at times due to noise and swing stage equipment, and limited beach access. Owner compensated us for this inconvenience which we thought was a very nice gesture.Garden City Realty has still not refunded our deposit after all this time (an oversight per them)

Clean and beautifully appointed. Completely accessible to wheelchair. Dishwasher didn't clean well; we hand-washed dishes. Best view ever. Nicest and most accommodating owner ever. Will return!

This location is perfect! The pictures of this condo are exact (lovely condo). The view is perfect overlooking the ocean! Garden City Realty truly accommodates their guests!!! We had the privilege of staying in this gorgeous home in April for my daughters last spring break in high school. This was our 6th visit to Myrtle Beach and by far the best place we stayed at. Everything we needed was provided. The location was superb. We look forwarding to staying here many many times!

Surfmaster 204 was a beautifully, newly renovated condo. We stayed there from April 20-27 and enjoyed every minute. The close proximity to the beach was amazing. Would definitely look to rent this property again in the future. Only negative I had was the day of check in. The rental company explained to me that if the property was not being used I can check in early. I checked in on Saturday morning when the property had been vacant since Friday morning and was unable to do so. They stated we still need to clean the unit and when it finally was they still delayed and stated it’s a 2 step process. I drove almost 12 hours with 2 small children and timed my arrival because I was led to believe I can check in early. I finally got in the room at 3:15. Other than that everything was amazing.

Unfortunately, after you were told by our reservation staff that you could check in early, we had a plumbing issue in the condo which required the installation of a backflow preventer valve, sheetrock work, and additional housekeeping service. You have a firework policy posted but no one follows the policy and the security staff do nothing to even enforce it. With small babies and toddler sleeping having large mortor shells going off right in front of the condo is frightening. Please do something to stop this.

THE ROOM WAS OPENED AND READY FOR US WITH EVERYTHING WE NEEDED. THE BEACH DECOR WAS BEAUTIFUL AND THE WICKER FURNITURE WAS PERFECT FOR THAT LOOK AND COMFORTABLE TOO. THE KITCHEN WAS WELL EQUIPPED WITH EVERYTHING WE NEEDED. WASHING MACHINE AND DRYER DID THE JOB. I LOVED THAT KING SIZED BED. IT WAS SO NICE, EVEN ON THOSE COLD RAINY DAYS TO LOOK OUT THOSE WINDOWS AND VIEW THE OCEON AND BEACH BY DAY AND THE MOON ON THE OCEON AT NIGHT. WHEN I NEEDED HELP MAKING THESE ARRANGEMENTS JACQUELYN WAS WONDERFUL. WE WENT TO HER TO BOOK A RETURN VACATION HERE NEXT YEAR. THANK YOU ALL FOR A VACATION WE NEEDED.

We discovered the first day at the rental that the clothes washer did not work (it would not move through the cycles). We reported this to the management company. No one came to check out the washer. Other than this problem we enjoyed our stay. We would come back if we were assured that the washer was repaired. Thanks. M. Clifton

The Condo was beautiful and fairly clean, we did find a dead **** Roach in an open area that should have been seen by the cleaning staff. Also the sliding door going to the balcony, the runner the door slides on is wearing out and the door wants to keep going off track. Someone could be seriously injured if it should fall on them. I thought it was going to fall once when I was trying to open it and my husband had to put it back on track. Just sayin.

Thank you for you comments on your visit to Garden City Realty and to Surfmaster 204. The pest control company was called to retreat the condo and the rollers on the sliding glass doors were lubricated which makes the door slide much easier.

The rental was ready early and we were allowed to check in. I like having towels and sheets provided, but having the washer/dryer to do my own laundry. I don't really like daily maid service. The towels were plentiful. Parking was good. I hope to stay here again.

This is our 3rd yr. staying at The Surf Master. We usually stay in a 3bdrm,
Condo , this yr. we went to a 2bdrm unit. The unit itself was well kept &
clean. However, the living room furniture was not the most comfortable.
The 2nd bdrm had 2 twin beds that both of our children said were
Uncomfortable . Other than that , it was a nice unit and we will continue
to stay at Surf Master properties.

This is a beautiful condo, huge living area, large balcony, great view, good beds, and both baths directly join each bedroom. Our only small concern was the A/C. It was a bit noisy, with some difficulty adjusting the temp, but it would not keep us from staying there again. We love GC area since it is away from the congestion. GC Realty was very helpful. We had a great time.

Housekeeping was not very efficient before our stay this year. Carpet from BR to LR had dirt streak tht my husband cleaned. And I was constantly picking dental floss, threads, etc up off of the floors. But, otherwise, very nice vacation!! We will be back!!!!!

We found this condo to be charming, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped for an extended stay. Bedrooms are roomy; beds are comfortable, although the furniture is a bit dated. Master bedroom has a large walk-in closet with lots of hangers. There is a well-stocked bookcase and plenty of games. And if you love sunrises, this is the view for you, whether from the full-length ocean front windows or the oversized balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed our stan and would rent this unit again without hesitation.
