Surf Master 413

Air Conditioner is still very loud. Earlier review said it was fixed. We like this condo very much just wish the owners would do something about the noisy air conditioner.

This vacation rental had EVERYTHING we needed. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve rented and had to run out for the simplest of things (utensils, plastic plates and cups, colander...) all of which were available to us at this rental. We didn’t need a thing. We brought our own beach wagon, chairs and sand toys - again, all of which were provided. We could have saved a lot of space in our vehicle had we known, lol. This rental was clean and comfy and very kid friendly. We had such a good time and it began as soon as we walked in the door of Surf Master 413! On another note, we left our JBL speaker behind but housekeeping said nothing turned up or was turned in. Would love to get that back. Who knows...maybe?

Unfortunately, this was most likely my last visit to Surfmaster unless individual owners utilize other management companies. Over the last 15+ years, I have been renting condo's at Surfmaster thru GCR, sometimes 2x per year. The last few visits have not been great. On former visits, there have been problems with cleanliness of the condo, broken glass on a bedroom floor, obvious areas missed by housekeeping, stained bedding, cobwebs on lampshades, air vents, etc. This time, it was the condition of the kitchen. when a description of a condo refers to fully stocked kitchen, you would expect pots, pans, utencils, dishware, glasses etc to be clean and ready to use. Not in this condo. It was all disgusting. broken shelves in the refrigerator, torn furniture, pots and pans that I wouldn't feed an animal out of, drawers that were caked with gunk from god knows when, utencils that had to be washed before use as well as the dishware and the final straw-a dried up used tea bag stuck to the side of a coffee cup that had been put back in the cabinet. Thanks but no thanks, I am just tired of dealing with neglect over and over again. GCR does react, they do send someone to inspect what you have found, they even brought a brand new set of pots and pans still in the box unopened, very much appreciated. That was great but too little too late. They leave you with these little cards all over the condo that under the bed was inspected, the floors were inspected, bathrooms etc but that's just BS, if you were really concerned that the condo was clean and ready for occupancy all of the items I mentioned above would have been addressed BEFORE I arrived. I shouldn't have to point these issues out to you. So long GCR/Surfmaster, it was fun while it lasted!

What a great condo to stay in! I have stayed here 3 times now and 100% will continue to come back! Beach front, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and great patio furniture to spend your mornings and evening enjoying the wonderful view of the ocean. Family Fun 413
This condo was perfect for our family of 5! Unit is updated & comfortable. It was so nice that there are plenty of games, puzzles & toys for younger families & older families incase of a rainy day or just for a little down time. The "beach" closet filled with every beach necessity & accessory imaginable was a huge bonus too!

The condo is just beautiful. I am a perfectionist so I thought the Cleanliness was good. The king and one queen mattress was not real comfortable. Someone sent us the wrong code and we couldn't get in. Air conditioner sounds like a train. No dishsoap. I said there wasn't any small pots but I found them, sorry. But the shrimp pot was burned on the bottom so appreciate the extra pot. We needed it.9

Third time staying at this condo building. First time in Unit 413,. It was a perfect place to stay with friends, had everything we needed and the bonus of beach stuff in the closet made the stay that much better. Staff very helpful, we had a power outage due to storm but response by maintenance was perfect

Amazing place. So many toys for the kids. The kitchen is stocked with so many kitchen tools. The back closest has so much toys and items for the beach. I loved this property. The patio furniture is great. The only concern i have is that we would run out of hot water very fast. If one person took a shower you would have to wait a hour for the water tank to heat back up fore the next person. Other then that it was a amazing time staying in 413.

No control over the weather of course which was the only negative. No reflection on property or management. This condo SM413 was perfect for our party of four and will remain so for years to come. Everything was clean and well maintained. The unit looked recently remodeled so everything was new and inviting. I do not have kids, but the unit provided games and puzzles for kids and adults to enjoy as well as items for the beach. There is nothing like falling asleep and waking up to the sounds of the ocean. The sunrise views from the balcony were spectacular.

We have rented 4 or 5 different units in Surf Master - All in the South Tower because of the views & sun. Unit 413 is well stocked with all the amenities you need for a fabulous vacation. We like it so much that we rent for four months (yes, months) every year. Surf Master is close to Murrells Inlet where we dine 3-4 times a week at almost every location there.

This condo is absolutely gorgeous. The furniture inside and on the balcony are in good condition and very comfortable. All the beds are comfortable as well. This is probably the best stocked kitchen of any rental we've ever stayed in. Overall we really liked this condo. The only issue was the noise level of the air conditioning unit. We stayed in the other surfmaster building last year, and never experienced this kind of noise. The AC unit when running is loud enough to drown out the TV. And if it kicks on in the middle of the night, it will wake you up. Other than that we very much enjoyed our stay.

We have stayed at Surfmaster since 2015, mostly in unit 413. Very clean with all the amenities of home. The overall cleanliness of the grounds are clean. Pool is an added bonus. Never too crowded. Great location on the beach.

We absolutely loved Surf Master 413. This property is so well stocked with supplies and necessary items like dishes, pans, silverware, etc. etc. We loved having a bathroom connected to each bedroom. And the washer/dryer was perfect. AND the VIEW! amazing! And the blinds for every window were excellent and such high quality! Just a perfect place to stay at the beach! Thank you!!!

We have rented in this Building for many years. We rent for two months at a time and have moved around over the years depending on being able to get two contiguous months in the same unit. First, I loved that Garden City Reality let you check in at Surf Master. Staff was courteous, kind and efficient. The check in packet and supplies were a sweet gift.Surf Master 413 was so much more than I expected. More than adequate kitchen supplies, including plates, cups, mugs, silverware and bar ware.. Utensils and pans for all sorts of baking and cooking. I liked that kitchen linen was there also. The games, books and toys were wonderful. We had 2 rainy nights and the games were put to use. I had my 3 1/2 year old twin grandchildren with us. It was like Christmas morning with the toys. These toys kept them occupied as we were getting ready for the day and night activities. The property was clean and well maintained with plenty of seating inside and outside.. I hope to rent this property again

This was our first family vacation. It was absolutely perfect !! Rental 413 had the most beautiful decor and was very clean. We had an 8 year old girl , my niece , it was her first trip to the beach and she loved it. The condo had tons of extra toys for her play with that we didn’t even know where going to be in the condo. My family's experience was wonderful at surf Master 413. We have stayed their several times because of the view and cleanliness of the condo. The owners have supplied many extras to make our visit pleasurable. My only complaint was that I had trouble regulating the heat on the burners of the stove. We will definitely return to this beautiful condo.

We were discouraged that all four TV's had the cheapo remote control boxes that did not show a channel guide & not what was on any channel we clicked on. Fortunately we got a paper guide to all the channels & what numbers they were. The vertical blinds in especially the living room were difficult if not impossible to operate so we left them in the same position the entire stay. The thermostat had no directions & was difficult to switch from heat to cool. We bought & left a Toaster Oven as we felt we could use it much of the time instead of the big oven. The area rug over the living room carpet bunches up and we could not straighten it. There were no screens on the patio doors so we could not leave them open for long, and never at night.

We rented this unit 413 just a few days before March started. We were due to come to unit 111 for the fourth time in November but health problems caused us to cancel. This unit 413 is larger than we need but was the only one available for the month of March on such short notice. We like the larger amount of space and will be back in the fall.

Checking in was a breeze and everyone was professional and very nice. They have plenty of luggage carriers available to take luggage to condo. As soon as you open the door you have an amazing view of the ocean. This condo has higher end furnishings and great personal touches!!! It was definitely a great place to unwind and relax. Oondo very nice and spacious. Great location. Has evertthing you need, it is like a home away from home. Second time we have stayed in this unit. If it storms and the wind blows the sliding doors have a whistling sound that is really loud and you can hear it all over the unit, it will actually wake you at night. I told the office last time we stayed there, which was 3 years ago and it apparentlly wasn’t fixed because it still does it. All it needs is a new seal around the door that slides back and fourth, cause it has a small gap around it and if you push on it ( the side of the door that does not have the lock on it) when it storms and the wind is blowing the noise stops, you can look and the see the gap if you look. It stormed about every night we were there, one night was really bad, it woke everyone and they had the bedroom doors closed. Besides that the unit is really nice and comfortable, plently of room.

We spent a wonderful week at the Surf Master Unit 413! The condo was beautifully decorated and absolutely spotless! The floor plan was ideal! The owners provided everything you could possibly need for a great beach vacation including beach chairs, umbrella, coolers and sand toys. Linens were also provided and neatly packaged. The entire building was well-maintained. Customer service was excellent. We loved our balcony overlooking the ocean! We enjoyed two great meals at The Conch Café which was a short walk down the beach. The Surf Master is conveniently located close to other restaurants as well as food and drug stores. We had a great week relaxing, reading, walking and truly enjoying beautiful Garden City Beach!

This place was thee nicest we have ever stayed in n we've been goin to myrtle for 25 yrs. the property was clean, nice, n staff was great. The condo was gorgeous. The pictures do it no justice. The owners have thought of every item u could possibly need on your vacation. You only need to bring yourself. Nicest, cleanest, comfiest condo on the beach. You wont be disappointed. Also, the room room was spotless for our arrival which never happens. Usually staff is in a hurry to get to next property to clean. This was immaculate!!! Best condo on the beach!!!!

Surfmaster by the Sea was the nicest condo we have ever stayed in! Our family has had many beach vacations, but the location of the condo, cleanliness of the facility, and ease of making reservations as well as checking out was amazing! We were only 5 minutes away from Krogers, McDonald's and a few other restaurants and beach shops. The beach itself was not crowded and looked quite clean. We will definitely stay at the Surfmaster by the Sea again!

Checking in was a dream. Drew was fantastic!!! The condo was beautifully decorated. And was above and beyond equipped with every thing one could ask for. Louann and Dave supplied it as though it was their home. As though they lived there full time. We were very impressed. Of course we have known them for 30 years.

We enjoyed our stay at SurfMaster 413. Loved the great view/balcony, large TVs, new furniture, and well stocked kitchen. No real complaints perhaps with the exception of the small bathrooms. Good value for the price. We'd definitely consider staying in this unit again and would recommend to others.

This is, no doubt, the nicest place I have stayed at the beach. It is super close to the ocean and has an incredible view. Our visit in October provided full sun on the balcony until about 3:00 p.m., allowing you to enjoy the beach straight from there if you so choose. The furnishings are not only attractive, but very comfortable. The beds were even comfortable, with large flat-screen TV's in every one. The kitchen/dining area is not only beautiful and classy but well stocked. On top of all that, the unit is nice and clean. I would LOVE to return to this unit at some time in the future.

This unit was really focused on the customer. The unit is beautiful and the location is awesome, but it was the little details that catered to the customer that amazed me. The owners have really gone out of their way to make your stay in their unit comfortable and convenient. Anything you need and more this unit has. Thank you to the owners for all the small details - like the cozy blankets we snuggled in, extra beach chair we needed and didn't have with us, well stocked kitchen supplies, and too much more to list.
The balcony and living room view drew us to this unit when deciding which unit to rent, the views were above expectations, breath taking. I enjoyed sitting on balcony for morning breakfast and evening relaxing time.
Our family recommends this unit, you will not be disappointed. We will be renting this unit again for our future beach trips.
