Beach House 216

The Beach House unit 216 was a very good unit overall. We have stayed in three different units in the complex and 216 has the best views up and down the beach.

The unit itself was good but it needs some freshening up. For instance, kitchen counter linoleum is coming off, counters pulling away from the walls, toilet flappers leaking causing them to re-fill every hour or so, microwave lights over stove were out. Nothing major at all, but those kinds of things start to add up.

Everything was CLEAN, the kitchen had nearly everything we needed (I brought a knife sharpener b/c the knives in every unit we've ever been in have been dull!), hot water was sufficient for multiple showers and the beds were quite comfortable.

We love the area too. Being closer to Murrells Inlet and away from the main Myrtle Beach chaos is nice. We ate at Hot Fish Club and Inlet Crab House and Raw Bar - both in Murrells Inlet and they were excellent. I also did a half-day fishing trip with Crazy Sister Marina in Murrells Inlet, which I try to do every year we've been in the area. They do a very nice job!

The condo was clean, well-maintained, and attractively decorated! The ocean is only a few feet away and the pool area is lovely!

Good location and great ocean front views! The Beach House Condo was clean and offered all the amenities we needed. The management staff was so helpful for our last minute beach vacation. Bob answered my email request promptly and got us in a rental quickly. ��

Great location. Comfortable furniture. Unfortunately, there were some dead bugs in the condo when we arrived (bathtub, bedroom & living room floor). The shower curtain in master bathroom was moldy and needs to be replaced. Various mold in hall bathroom, including the shower curtain which should be replaced. These things should not have been an issue had the condo been cleaned/maintained a bit more thoroughly. Door from master bedroom to balcony did not open - We did not call maintenance but again, if properly checked before we arrived, this oversight would have been discovered and corrected and not something we should have had to call about.

In general, these condos are lovely: Size wise, layout, location, ease of entry with door code. The things listed above could have easily been averted by having housekeeping/maintenance do a final through the condo in the AM - for the PM arrival of us/guests. Considering the price of rental, perhaps this could be a good change for future rentals/guests?

Location was great ,
The chairs on the deck were not high enough 2 see over the raining on balcony , the sofa in living wasn't the most comfortable & sure could have had another comfortable chair in living room , not comfortable 4 some1 with back issues
The lamps several of them didn't work. ,
Other than that place was accommodating, could use some cosmetic maintenance

Great place to relax and reset your mind. Notified upon checking that washer did not work and that we could be reimbursed using the coin operated facility on the property. After checking in we could not find any coin operated washers and dryers. The next day, we contacted housekeeping and they provided us with all the towels that we needed during the remainder of the stay.

Condo was great! Kitchen had all the amenities of home. Even a mixer. Unfortunately our month long stay included Corona outbreak so as the days passed, so did the business closings increase. We were lucky enough to buy our own property before too much chaos happened, so wont need this location. However, I do strongly recommend 216. Owner apparently cares for comfort!

We loved our stay! It was in a perfect location, a short walk to the pier and local restaurants. Our condo was clean and accommodated the five of us. Loved leaving the window open at night to hear the ocean!

The area is a nice, clean place to stay other than the dredging of the ocean(which was interesting to watch)The weather was great and we would visit again. The pool and deck chairs were removed 2 days before our time was up and we were told it was because of the storm coming the following week, someone told us where to get the chair if we wanted but to put them back when we were finished. Overall our time was good.

We enjoyed this condo and the area overall.
You can walk to the pier and the stores at the intersection.
The condo was nice and everything worked well.
The deck is right on the beach and all it needs is one of those higher table/chairs set to see over the railing.
Would have given 5 stars if not for the A/C not working one night, but the mangage net was quick to fix.

My wife and I decided we were going to buy a place of are own. So it was more of a business trip. put we did have one day just for us and it was great. Buy the way we did buy a condo in sweetwater.We look at 12 places and my wife feel in love with this place.

We have stayed at #216 previously, and were pleasantly surprised to find it nice and clean, and recently updated with a new flat screen tv in the living room and wifi internet. The condo is perfect for our needs. The only two drawbacks we have are 1) the AC unit apparently freezes up when placed under 72* and 2) the bedrooms could use tv upgrades to flat screens. We don't usually stay inside that much while at the beach, but this time we spent a little more time inside because of Hurricane Arthur. No Biggie!

this property is perfectly located, easy walk to the pier and right on the ocean. the pool and surrounding property was very clean and felt safe. the kids were able to walk to the center of town to get ice cream and rented a golf cart for the week and it was a blast. the kids were able to fish right out front of the condo. would definitly return to this property, as our concerns were addressed immediately

We arrived on April 6th 2012 with our teenage daughter and her friend for a short Spring Break was about 8:30 at night, there was a full moon and it was high tide. We immediately went to the balcony and couldn't believe what we saw. The water was right below us. The moon was gleaming down on the water...WOW is all we kept saying. That describes our entire trip. We normally stay oceanfront at North Myrtle close to Cherry Grove, and we love it there, but this end of the beach was just different. Very laid back and quiet. Traffic wasn't an issue. This condo is in a really great location. The layout of the complex is great and the condo itself was very nice. It could use a little updating. I think they had started. The master bedroom looked newly painted. The only little complaint that we'd have with the condo is they need more seating in the den...maybe another sofa or loveseat. We loved the flooring in the kitchen. That throughout the condo would put it over the top! Thanks for sharing your condo! We'll be back...hopefully this August.

Carpet doesn't look in good conditions. Lots of corrosion on windows and doors frames. Air docks dirty. Missing items in the kitchen...

Beach House was a great location. The condo was clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. I would recommend repairing the wallpaper.

the Beach house was just the right size for our family and we loved being just a few steps from the water. Cant wait to go back, Garden City has become a favorite vacation spot
