Surf Master 711

Location of the condo was great. Building had there own pool and hot tub and being on the beach was perfect.
Very spacious and perfect for my family of 5. Only issue we had was when we checked in the counters were dirty in the kitchen and so was the floor

Enjoyed our week at Surf Master 711! Beautifully renovated master bath and shower, great kitchen with most everything you need. Does need a new toaster, only has an old toaster oven! Great view off the balcony and nice outdoor furniture! Liked the motorized blinds to keep out the morning sun. Couches in living room were ok, but a couple of comfy recliners would be appreciated! The condo was clean when we arrived. The master closet is jammed full of stuff to use at the beach! But, I had to move all that stuff to hang up our clothes! Not much space to keep the beach cart, except in the hallway! Overall, this was a good experience and we would certainly consider staying here again!

Our stay in 711 was lovely. The condo was nicely decorated and the couches were comfortable. The Primary Bathroom upgrades were beautifully done but the primary mattress needs to be replaced soon. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked but the refrigerator door would not close completely so we had to constantly check to make sure it was closed so that our food wouldn’t go bad. The automatic blinds and ceiling fans were a nice bonus and worked well. This condo had access to beach chairs, boogie boards, and lots of sand toys for their guests. We had a wonderful time here. Perfect location with fantastic views. Loved the large balcony, with high top chairs and table. The chairs were perfect. Unit was clean and well equipped. Really enjoyed the updated master bedroom bath as well as the updated kitchen. Great TV. We found the electric screens on the windows facing the ocean especially cool. Couch in Livingroom could use updating. We definitely will be returning, hopefully soon. Highly recommended.

Balcony and views from the room were fantastic! Parking, pool and beach access were easy. THe interior had older furniture that needs replaceds. We covered the couches with sheets before sitting on them. The room fans and bathroom exhaust fans were filthy. Under furnture was dirty and kitchen cabinet contents were not organized. I cleaned and organized for our stay! THe place loked much better when we left! ALso the walls were beat up in entry way especially. Love the electric blinds. Kitchen was newer but cabinets already were off track. Appreciated updated master bathroom. Guest bathroom needs updated, especially tub, shower, shower rod. Had much wind comin in through front door during the tropical storm...needs weather stripping! THank you for opportunity to comment. We had a good vacation.

The condo could have used a coat of fresh paint and the water needs someone to check the loud pipes! That was our only negative. The beds were so comfortable, which is hard for me to find! Also loved the automatic shades. Very helpful to shade us from the sun, but still allow for a view of the water!

Beautiful Condo
We love staying at Surf Master 1108. It's a beautiful condo with fully stocked kitchen. It's always spotless when you check in and we enjoy the gorgeous view from the spacious balcony. Hurricane Idalia came through on Wednesday while we were there and Garden City Reality and Surf Master kept us up to date on what was happening and any closures because of the storm. We weathered perfectly well through it and had a beautiful day after it went by. Kudos to all who kept us informed! You will love staying at 1108!

Beautiful views and great location. We thought the seventh floor would be too high but it was perfect. You can see everything from the beautiful patio that has comfortable new furniture. Kitchen and master bath are newly renovated. Very clean!

Our unit at 711 Surf Master was very clean and spacious. The kitchen had many dishes and pots and pans. There was even a toaster oven and a toaster. The only negative comment I have is that the DVD and the CD player did not work. When we needed help getting the tv on, the office sent someone right up.

We stayed in the southern tower in unit 711. It was very clean and ac was nice and cold upon arrival. Condo itself is decorated very nicely and set up for a family with multiple children. Decent amount of cooking tools available and the blender works great! Will definitely be back again!

We had an amazing week. Five of us were able to comfortably stay in this unit since the second bedroom has twin over double bunk beds. All major appliances worked, kitchen was well stocked and you can't beat the location. We will be back!

The rental was absolutely gorgeous and we cannot wait to book 711 again! It worked perfectly for our family of 6. We loved all the attention to detail that was done in the cleaning, and the attentiveness of the GCR staff each time that I called or emailed. Our only concern was the lack of an emergency evacuation plan. When our alarms went off mid week, my husband was able to quickly take our 4 children down the 7 flights of stairs, but I went to help my parents. My dad is in a wheelchair and was on the 8th floor. With the elevators immediately shut off, there was no evacuation plan for him. This is something that definitely needs to be addressed. But, we enjoyed our stay greatly!

It was an amazing place to stay. The dishes were dirty when we got there and had to wash them before we used them and I found a roach in the master bedroom. But other than that the stay was phenomenal! Our family of 15 people stayed throughout the condos and we plan on booking again for next year hoping to get on the same floor and in the same tower.

Was a good trip. Plenty of room in 711. BedS were comfy. Was very comfortable. Just alittle outdated. Otherwise great stay. One issue on Beach was the lifeguard sets up a bunch of chairs in early Am. And you are not allowed to put your umbrella in front of them. It’s annoying. But still worth the money.

We're always happy staying at Surf Master and unit 711 was no exception. The updated flooring is very nice and the electric solar shades truly outstanding. The HDTV's are also above average (always important). On the other hand, kitchen and baths were just OK and not as nice as some of the other units we've had that were updated more recently. We did need to do a little dusting and the typical decluttering we always do (to make room for our stuff). Bottom line - We'd stay in this unit again for sure!

We took a last minute beach trip and this unit was the only available for the time period we needed. We decided to give it a chance and we are so glad that we did. It was wonderful. We have stayed at Surf Master several other times in a 1 bedroom condo. This condo was so comfortable and very nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with the necessary pots, pans, dinnerware etc. The balcony was so enjoyable. The couch and king size bed was comfy. The master bathroom shower leaked (would not stay turned off) and the master bath sink stopper was broken (minor inconveniences. Overall it was fabulous and we hope to get to stay in this condo again.

#711 has always been our favorite unit in Surfmaster over the past 14 years. We were lucky enough to get it this year and it is still a very well kept condo. The only addition I would like to see would be a regular toaster and coffee maker rather than a toaster oven and Keurig machine. All the furnishings are in great shape, but the dryer may be starting to go bad. GCR was great to work with as always.

The views were breathtaking. It was super clean upon arrival and there were literally zero complaints from my family! The grounds were kept super clean at all times! We really enjoyed our stay in #711 for the month of January, 2018. It is the nicest unit that we have stayed in of several trips to Myrtle Beach over the last few years. It is larger than the units we have stayed in before and we found everything we needed, other than food, was already provided for us to get us started on our stay. Beautiful view, spacious interior, comfortable, everything provided for basic stay, we really were totally satisfied with the unit.

We had a very good vacation last week. The weather was beautiful, and this condo was the best we've ever stayed in. The decor was beautiful, be achy but not overdone. Traveling to shopping areas and restaurants was convenient and not too far. The local "Conch Cafe" had a great atmosphere, food, cost, and was walking distance which we loved. I would recommend this condo to anyone.

really good except for a few issues. pots and pans are in desperate need of an upgrade not enough bowls and storage containers ,washer left black greasy marks on the whites(tshirts underwear,really anything white. marks unable to be removed thus ruining the article.

Newly updated condo! Had electric blackout shades in the master bedroom and electric roll down screens in the living room. Everything was neat and clean. The view was wonderful. The only thing I did not like about the condo facility is that there were no bathrooms down by the pool. With little kids this can be a little work going up and down the elevator every time someone has to go to the bathroom. Besides that we had a wonderful stay and would stay again. There was a wonderful oceanfront restaurant within walking distance called the Conche Cafe!

Overall loved the Unit. However have compiled a list of item that should be corrected or improved. I hope to provide that to both the on-site management and the Realty office. None were "deal-breakers." EG. phone in MB doesn't work, M-Bath shower drips a long time after shut off, and wet bar area was not dusted.

This was our 9th year at Garden City and our 4th at #711. This is easily one of the best condos at Surfmaster. It is very clean and well-maintained. All the furnishings and appliances are in great shape. This condo owner really makes an effort to provide 1st class accommodations. The kitchen is well stocked with all the necessities. Garden City Realty was great to deal with as always.

Our condo was beautifully appointed, very clean, with everything one would need. EXCEPT -- the ability to stay a few extra days. The beach at sufside is wonderful -- long, clean, flat. We ended up staying a few extra days in myrtle - 4 miles north of broadway a/t beach. beach was not nearly as nice. WE LOVE SURFSIDE AND WE LOVE SURFMASTER 711.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Surfmaster 711. There was enough room for the 15 of us to eat some meals together in the penthouse and plenty of space for everyone to have room to relax without feeling crowded. The condos met all of our needs--ages ranging 3 months through 73. I was very pleased with the parking provided as I have experienced not enough spaces for the units rented in other condos. The rooms,the view, and the beach were lovely.

This is one of the nicest condos we have ever stayed in. It is comfortably furnished with good beds and all the amenities a housewife needs to make her feel at home. Access to good restaurants and attractions like Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington Beach State Park was good. It is family-oriented - far away from the razzle dazzle activity of Myrtle Beach proper. If you're looking for action, this is not the place to be. If you want comfortable relaxation in a homey atmosphere, you've got it! This is our third time at the same condo. Nuff said!

The owners have 30+ silk flowers in the unit. I have stayed there twice and both times I had to put them out on the balcony because they are such dust collectors. Allerigies! Also, the dish washer rack has needed fixed for two years. Two minor inconveniences in a lovely stay. We love being so close to the ocean.
