My husband and I had our 16 year old daughter and her friend with us for the July 4th week. It was great, close to everything, the condo was clean with adequate kitchen appliances. The keypad lock was clutch for the girls that wanted to sleep later or go out.
The neighbors above us were VERY loud and clearly had little kids that liked to get up 5:30-6:30 every day. The fireworks on the beach were fabulous on the 4th.
The only things that needed a bit of improving - all the doors were very squeaky and would have been nice to be permitted to park the golf cart at the condo. I understand the HOA rules, but it was a bit of a hassle to go get it every single morning from the overflow lot. We used the golf cart for everything all week so sometimes parking was an issue during the day. The public lot is literally 7 feet from our assigned spot so seemed unfair to take a public spot from other beachgoers.

This was our first time staying in Myrtle Beach for the month of March.
This property is a great location, well appointed, and spacious.
The maintenance department was very quick to respond to the air conditioner/heating uint not working. The owners promptly had the whole unit replaced.

The condo was in great shape. Only concern was in the second bed room there was no place for clothes. There used to be a dresser with plenty of room and a queen bed. Now two double beds and no dresser. Everything else was very good.

We spent nearly as much time on the back deck as we did on the beach. The deck overlooks the beach where we set up or chairs, so we could see when someone was headed back. At the same time it was fun watching the foot, pedaling and car traffic going up and down the road. But the best part are the Adirondack chairs and matching tables. They provide the perfect sitting height for relaxing on the deck, with matching tables for eating and resting you cold beverage. The interior was clean with extra pillows, blankets, throws... which you’ll need because the AC works great!
The Afterdeck pool wasn’t open during our stay, due to the pandemic, but we still had fun. Speaking of the pandemic, we chose the Afterdeck because we were worried about traveling in elevators to top floors of taller buildings with non-family guests. During our stay, we never had trouble social distancing from other guests. There are two stairwells, with wide steps, yet we rarely crossed paths with anyone. And the elevators were never busy. Overall, an excellent location, excellent unit and the Garden City agents were all so hospitable.

We would definitely stay in this rental again! Great location from the pier and awesome ocean view. The condo was clean. Only downfall for us was there is only one parking pass and the parking spots are very tight we have a newer SUV and parked in a guest parking spot to try to avoid parking to close to other vehicles.

The condo is great! It is clean and everything in the pictures are accurate. The deck is very large. The kitchen is well equipped. The parking is tight! We have a full size truck and it was tight. There is only one parking space per condo but there is a 2 guest parking spots but I would not count on that. Garden City offers an offsite parking lot close by but it is not monitored (as far as I know) and no cameras. It was great stay!

Had a great time in Garden City Beach. This is our 8th or 9th visit since 2000, and Garden City Beach/Myrtle Beach are my favorite vacation spots. Our property, Afterdeck, has a great location that is right in the middle of everything in Garden City Beach. We love the laid back atmosphere, businesses, great restaurants and the people in Garden City and Murrell's Inlet. Incredibly hospitable and helpful. We also love Garden City Realty staff too. They are always helpful, and eager to ensure everyone has a great time! I do have a few suggestions for the owner of Afterdeck 203. The kitchen was not very well stocked with usable utensils and appliances. There was no blender. There was nothing you would consider a basic skillet. The coffee maker was old, was not programmable, and did not have an automatic shut off. (A decent coffee maker can be purchased for $18-$24 at Wal-mart). Utensils were a hodgepodge of various types, and basic kitchen tools and sharp knives were nowhere to be found. The cabinets themselves were also dirty. One of them had lots of dead ants in it, and it looked as though someone had opened the cabinet and sprayed them with bug spray. Note: Dishware should not come in contact with pesticides. Other than the kitchen issues, the unit was a 7-1/2 on a scale of 1 to 10. Nothing fancy. Just a nice, middle of the road unit. Exactly what we expected for the great price. Being in law enforcement/security, I only had one other concern. Small boards placed in sliding glass door frame tracks are not really sound security devices. I recommend installing removable door frame pins to really secure the doors from sliding or being lifted off the tracks. We will be back. Thanks!

This was 3rd year we have rented Afterdeck 203 and as previous years everything was very good. This unit has been clean and have had no problems during our stay. We love the Garden City area because it is close to so many attractions and great restaurants. The beach front is also great. Everything is very accessible and easy to get to. Also love the Garden City pier which is walking distance from unit and fun to watch and listen to good entertainment in the evenings. Will give Garden City Reality an A++ for being very nice and on keeping us informed about our reservation. Look forward to 2018 to be back for another getaway.

We had a wonderful time which coincidentally happens to be in the line of totality of the eclipse. We enjoyed that amazing day with our son and daughter-in-law. We were able to enjoy it and relax that evening in the condo which was comfortable. Except for the guest bedroom. The bed was very uncomfortable. Not much sleep in that room. Would love to have had more comfortable beds. View not the best but for the price it was acceptable.

Due to 2 surgeries and a back surgery for myself over the last year and a half and my husband dealing with cancer over the last 6 months, we haven't had a vacation in 4 years. We were so ready to get away. The weather was wonderful for the week but even if it hadn't been we'd have been fine just staying inside this beautiful condo. It was wonderfully decorated and inviting to all it's guests. The owners have made sure that all the amenities anyone would need were made available. Wonderful vacation!

We had a very nice vacation. The rental property was nice and had everything that we needed. My only suggestion would be to have a throw rug available at the front door especially when coming in from outside with sand and shoes. Also the shower drains were very slow to drain so that will need to get looked at.

The only complaint I have is the mattress in the back bedroom needs to be replaced. It practically goes to the floor when you sit on it. Otherwise we had a great time and no other issues. Would stay there again!

We went down to spend Easter with our daughter who is college in SC. We had plenty of room to make a large meal, for 3 of us, plus her 4 other friends that couldn't manage to go home. The condo is beautiful, spotless, kitchen overlooks dining and living, balcony is huge. The view, although not ocean front is gorgeous. I couldn't have been happier. I would love to stay again. Wish I owned it and lived there. Only thing is I wish there was more than 1 parking pass.

Very easy and convenient check in and check out procedure. The unit was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The appliances were in good condition with the exception of the right front stove burner. We enjoyed the large deck and ocean view--just like the picture. We also enjoyed the pool area and easy beach access. One complaint would be the unusable screen entry door (the door was swollen and wouldn't close well and the door frame was coming loose) and the difficulty opening and closing the main entry door--again, probably because of all the rain??

The Unit was convenient to rent on the web site.
The Unit was ready for use upon arrival. It was very clean and neat. The beds were comfortable with the exception of the pull out bed, it needs a new mattress.
The ocean waves could be viewed from our outside deck. The waves were very relaxing at night.
The kitchen was well equipped. I plan to rent again with Garden City Realty.

Great stay. My main issue was the living room sliding doors were next to impossible to open. We relied on using the doors in the bedroom to get out on the balcony because it was too difficult to get in and out of the living room.

Addition of elevator to complex was great! The sliding door off the living room could be updated / fixed. Hard to close and only locked half teh time. The slated drapes at the door need replaced with something a bit more forgiving like cloth vs the plastic.
It is good to see that the Afterdeck unit itself is cleanng up and looking better

We had a great stay !! The only complaint was the parking was limited to one space per unit. The unit itself was very neat and comfortable. The sliding glass door leading from the livingroom was very hard to open and close. Bed very comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked fairly with cooking items.
