Horizon East 101

Our location is perfect. Garden city realty is very easy to work with.
The condo could use some updates. The couches are the same for all the years we have stayed there. (Over 10) They were a bit uncomfortable as were the beds. Also could use a good chefs knife and a decent frying pan to cook on

Great location, clean and inviting! The only complaints I have would be the lack of spatulas to cook with and the condition of the mattress on the bed in the beach front master bedroom. It was warped and needs to be replaced. Aside from those two minor things, the place was perfect!

Good location, convenient to grocery shopping and Restaurants in Murrells Inlet. Security system is cumbersome, condo appliances need updating, carpet need cleaning, decor is 1970's...

you only get 1 parking pass and the overflow is 2 miles away. While we was parking 2 of our cars with overflow passes was towed. The tow company came with a attitude police was called and gave him attitude. Doesn't matter if you are unpacking are not you will be towed. Lot was only 1/2 full. Cost $250 less than a hour we where there. Also no carts in site to take stuff to room.

It was a perfect place to enjoy the beach. We loved waking up and drinking coffee on the balcony, one morning we saw dolphins swimming by. It was majestic!

The condo was large enough for 6 adults. View was amazing. Just steps from the beach. Beds were very comfortable. It was also very quite. Was a wonderful stay. It would have been nice to have door fob for each couple that was staying in the condo. We ate at the Barbeque House twice, always have to hit River City Cafe and also tried Dead Dog Saloon in Murrells Inlet. Grocery shopping was close. It would have been nice to have 2 parking spaces but I see why they limit you to 1 parking lot is small but we could always find a spot. Had to call for some light bulbs and also the tv in the full size bedroom didn't have a cable box and my son had to use his spectrum app. Carpet in the bedroom could be updated and bathrooms could be updated. Overall the stay was great. I would stay here again.

We rented at 3/3 and really liked the size. Had a full laundry room. We could see the pool as well as front row of the beach. The condo wasn't as clean as we expected. Things like a hair in the tub, debris on one bath mat, sticky floor counter in some small areas, small splatters on the kitchen walls and cabinet doors all which we could easily clean.

Rental is beautiful and in a wonderful location. It could use a few new skillets and pans in the kitchen. But overall a place we would love to return to.

Started out poorly, pool and deck closed first 3 days, next the stairs to the beach closed for 3 days( after the pool was opened) refrigerator shelves broken, kitchen faucet leaking and kitchen floor slick as ice. Garden City reality was quick to fix the last 3 items! We were very happy when the pool and deck opened. Unfortunately, the last 2 days of our 2 week stay, they closed the pool again for a permit payment that was overdue! This is the first time we had an issue with this place. We will stay there again as we made many friends with renters and owners. It really is a nice place! Everyone has an off experience but the Realty was great at fixing our problems. They could not control the damage from the hurricaine Ian.

This is our 2nd year staying here and we weren't as happy with this year as the previous year. Our air wouldn't get below 77 degrees, almost all the dishes in the cabinets were dirty. The mattress cover on one of the beds wouldn't close so we had to fight for the cover and the fitted sheet to stay on.

We rented four condo's for the same week, 101, 301, 204, and Penthouse B All of the units except 204 were very nice, great views of the beach and ocean. We would never ever rent 204 again. Garden City mgmt.responded to our request promptly. See 204 review for our comments

Beautifully place, perfect location. If we weren’t at the beach we were on the balcony, enjoying the view of the beach. The only issue we had was handled within minutes.

This is a beautyfull clean unit. Bathroom tub faucets are leaking as are the bathroom sinks. Outside property ( deck area) became dirty ( sand) after a week without cleaning. This is a very nice place to vacation. Tough to rent a 3 bedroom with only one parking space. The unit is very nice, comfortable.

This location was terrific while we were relocating this winter. Our hosts were wonderful to allow us to rent for several months and the accommodations met our needs. The ocean front view and music of the ocean were therapeutic and relaxing. The sunrise is spectacular and the moonlight view is breathtaking. The location is great and the walk to the pier so convenient. If we had any need, the realtor company was accommodating and the building manager very personable. Would recommend!

It was a good visit. The condo was mostly clean but the bedspreads were not clean. Other bed linens were thrower in the closet and seemed dirty. Condo could use some painting and replacing carpet in the bedrooms. Overall, we were okay with the condo.

We had a great time! The condo was in a great locaation in Garden City Beach. The beachfront location was outstanding. We were on the first floor above ground level which made beach access very easy. The condo had plenty of room for the 5 of us. The amenities/accommodations were good. Garden City Realty was excellent to deal with...professional AND friendly. This is the second time we have booked through them and we will definitely work with them if we visit Myrtle Beach in the future.

Room was good. Very clean. Some rusted door hinges need replaced. Some kitchen drawers were hard to open. Needs some updating here & there but overall a good condo. Parking was alittle hard. We had two cars & was told one had to be parked in the over flow parking acouple miles away. Then was told by the security officer we could park both there. Then on the last morning we had a note on our door saying we would be towed if we didn't move one car. So bad communication between security officer & management. Would stay there again if we only had one car.

We spent a long weekend at Horizon East 101 and could not have been happier! They condo was clean and spacious. The pool was nice and we loved the security of staying here. The only thing we would have asks for were more up to date dishes in the kitchen, such as coffee mugs, bowls, etc.

HE 101 was a great choice for our vacation this year. We enjoyed it immensely. The location of the condo was perfect for our needs with great views and accessibility. There was never a wait for an elevator or mad dash to "check in" or unload on the first day like other places we have stayed. Parking was plentiful as well compared to other places as well. The entire building was clean and maintained as one should be. The accommodations were exactly as advertised and would definitely stay here again. My one complaint was that we were unable to find extra light bulbs in the condo and there were quite a few that were burned out, other than that, the place was perfect and we will be returning next year.

Upon arrival at rental property found it was not actually ocean front but had another structure between it and the beach. The agency relocated us after I explained about the handicapped people in my group where we were ocean front. Thanks you made the trip memorable for tne handicapped people.

Very relaxed...good lodging plenty of cooking utensils and pans. Soft beds ;-)

Glad that the cleaning service leaves a little of what previous guests would have left like dish-washing soap, salt pepper, laundry detergent. We left a few things we bought because we did not want to carry them back like charcoal and lighter fluid and felt that they might be of use to the next guests.

Mostly courteous, quiet, and family oriented fellow guests.

The waves and beach were clean and kept that way. We had brought a canopy but found out they were no longer allowed because of township ordinance...bought beach umbrellas at WALMART.

Plenty of local restaurants and stores for needs within a few minutes back out on Kings Highway.

This is the 2nd year we have stayed a Horizon East. Unit 101 was fresh and clean upon arrival. Grounds were clean and building security is top notch. Great place for a family vacation. The beach is a little crowded during high tide, but everyone is super friendly! Check in is simple and easy!

Our rental experience went well from start to finish. Being an older property seemed to be a plus...very quiet, maybe due to the quality of older construction? We could not hear ANY noise or footsteps from other units or from the outside. The only item we could have used in the unit was a good cutting board! (We do a lot of chopping and there were just very thin rigid plastic mats provided)

Nice space bedrooms are very private. Recommend replacing tv console in living room doors won't open to a fold back position creating a toddler hazard. Loved our stay great beach access. Would love to to go back.

Overall my families experience was a good one. The condo unit had everything that we already needed. I liked the fact that every bedroom had their own bathroom. Overall the place was clean when we arrived but there were a few places it was not, the tubs, the armoir and the windows were dirty. We were surprised to find that the vaccum didn't work and there was no broom to sweep up the sand. So that would have been nice. We would love to stay in Garden City Beach again but maybe next time try a different condo.

Loved the location. The one negative was we could smell cigarette smoke. We think it was coming from the unit above us through the vents and being non-smokers it was very bothersome.

Overall, we were well pleased with our holiday experience. The reservation was exactly what we had expected based on what was offered in the online pictures and descriptions. Unit was very spacious and very comfortable for 7 of us. The owner and management of Garden City Realty were professional in addressing a technical issue with the Wifi and phone in a proficent manner. Ease of access to the beach and pool was great for the kids.

Enjoyed a wonderful week at the beach. The unit was spacious and very well decorated. The matching furniture was a plus. The kitchen was well equipped with everything I needed. Loved the balcony and the view. The security system was a hinderance at times !!! The pool maintenance was lacking a couple of times. We love the Garden City area !!! Location was great as well as the beach access. Overall, we had a wonderful week at this unit. P.S. The owners were gracious enough to call and check on how well we liked the unit and offered some insight into some possible problems we might enoounter. Luckily, we didn't experience any major problems with the unit !! All in all , a very relaxing week !!
