Beach Lovers

The house was nicely decorated and had lots of kitchen supplies. It was also nice to have games and books. The pool was very nice and the outdoor furniture was comfortable except for the lounge chairs because 3 were broken. The grill ran out of gas and we called for a replacement tank. A gentleman came, I think his name was Adam and replaced the tank and even came back to bring a new brush to clean the grill which was very nice. Thanks Adam. Overall we really liked the place and the ease of renting. Thanks for a great week.

Beach Lovers was the perfect beach house for our family. Great location. We have stayed at a few houses with private pools and this pool setting was exceptional! Surrounded by concrete means no dirt or mud to deal with The pool was clean and was serviced 3 times during our stay. We did have a couple of problems with the dishwasher and freezer and they were repaired within a few hours. House was clean and met all of our needs. Will be back next year!

Great property. Bedrooms and bathrooms were perfectly set up for all 3 generations. Everyone had their own quiet areas when needed. The pool area is large with plenty of seating, sun and shade, for all. Beach access was only 3 houses down, easy walk. The weather was perfect all week.

You can’t beat the location of this Inn. No elevators to deal with. The Mini Mart located beside them is VERY convenient. Staff are friendly and very accommodating. Great that you don’t have to rent for whole week.

Layout of the house is great. Great location as well. Needs a thorough cleaning inside and out. Pool was never serviced all week- even after I called and asked for service. Also, icemaker on fridge was useless. Overall, not a bad vacation.

Beach Lovers
This is a great home. Beautifully decorated and updated. Super clean. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need. The pool area was fantastic. My adult children and their fiancé’s/boyfriend had a blast every day in that pool. The only slight negative I have is it was hard to navigate the tv’s. We were not watching them much so not a big deal.

We stayed at Beach Lovers during Spring Break. Overall, the place is nice, but the ocean front road has a lot of traffic and can be loud at times. There were also some broken steps on the deck (that we fixed) and a broken door handle in the house. The upstairs air conditioner did not work during our visit, even after the maintenance person came, we still could not turn down the thermostat, so it was always hot upstairs. The ocean views were nice, and the pool was nice, but the pool was dirty when we arrived (lots of sand in the bottom), and it was not cleaned during our stay. The pool service only put chemicals in the pools; they did not vacuum it.

We had the opportunity to stay in this extremely nice beach house a couple of weeks ago. We had an amazing week! The house had plenty of room for our family, 3 couples and 4 grandchildren and a lot of parking space. You could enter & exit from the street in front of the house and the street on the backside which was very convenient.
The house is right across the street from the ocean, and the pool was very large. It was enjoyed by all especially the grandkids. The kitchen was well equipped, so much that we thought we had no where to put groceries, but a nice 3 shelf cabinet in the dining area held most of it. The beds were comfortable and linens were bright white and soft, unlike some houses we have rented. We loved the self check in and door code. We love Garden City Reality and have used them many times over the years. They were excellent to work with and we had no issues at all. We will consider booking this house again! Don’t hesitate to book it for your vacation!

Beautiful place and felt like home away from home. The house is beautifully decorated and had many comforts of home. The pool was a beautiful place to relax after coming off of the beach. Great beach house; well maintained. Over stocked kitchen. My only request is that you reduce the amount of drinking glasses. There was virtually no place for our pantry food for the week. I had to do some rearranging/consolidating in order to find cupboard space. The cute teal colored free-standing cabinet provided some space for chips, etc. but we had a big crowd in there and need more space for food. Suggest they add bumpers on the cabinets doors; very loud when closing (we are used to soft-closed drawers and these just slammed shut. Pool and grounds - perfect!

Overall a great experience. New and clean, and well furnished. Great location and plenty of parking. My one nitpick were the televisions and third party channel services. Perhaps we did not know how to use the services but I could not get local channels or any paid TV service for sports. I think for the price some basic service with local channels should be included. Other than that the home was nearly perfect.

The house and property was very well maintained. Kitchen was equipped with every thing you would need. Two bedrooms on main level and two up with loft. Plenty of games to play. As well as furniture inside and outside, enough for everyone to sit comfortably. Beautiful home! Short walk to beach access. We would definitely stay again.

There were a couple of issues because the house was sold and a new owner did not have the internet and cable turned on, but Garden City realty work hard to get everything turn on. The realty company and their people were great. The house was wonderful, pool refreshing, wish I was there today and not back at work! Only issue with the area is that there are not enough places to eat unless you want to wait 2 hour to get a table and beach access was a 1/4 mile walk from the house. But over all the house and Garden city realty were wonderful. We had good weather and fun. I would recommend this house and realty company if you want a stress free vacation.

Our large family really enjoyed staying at Beach Lovers. Very spacious and clean, kitchen has absolutely everything you could need. Extra refrigeration for drinks was a plus. Loved the pool which was larger than expected! Outdoor area is great. Plenty of parking. We would definitely rent again.

The house was spacious and the pool was great! I did like having a code to lock/unlock the door as opposed to keys. We never could get the overhead light �� on in the den and upstairs living area. The porch and pool furniture were very nice. It was also great to have linens provided. We did wish it had an outlet under the house to charge a golf cart, though. As for cleanliness, the floors were dirty. I assume the maid didn’t have time to mop.

This house and our stay was amazing! Highly recommended! The house was in perfect condition and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need for at-home meal preparation and there was a great selection of board games (for rainy days!). The pool and pool area were fantastic. Plenty of room and seating on the pool deck and the tall fence provided privacy from the neighboring houses. All of the beds, sofas and chairs were very comfortable and in great condition. We loved the interior decorating: helped us feel at home. We arrived late after the rental office was closed but the late check-in instructions were very clear and made our arrival a breeze after a long day of driving. The easy access to the beach was a huge plus (across the street) and there is a wide variety of restaurants and shopping nearby. A+ rating for this property !!

We had the best time during our stay. The kitchen is fully stocked for all of you cooking needs. The owners left us a bad of treats which we thought was extremely nice. We had an issue with the air upstairs and the owner was there within 30 minutes of me calling. We will be renting this house again.

This was a great beach house. We didn’t lack for anything. We had everything that was needed. The house set up with all the rooms was wonderful. We stayed at Beach Lover the week of August 25th. In all our years of renting homes for our weekly family vacation, this home was by-far the best we've ever stayed in. Although we only had 6 adults in our group, there is plenty of room for more! The owners definitely take pride in their beach home and have included every amenity imaginable for their guests. The décor was an added bonus...relaxing, quirky, and lovely. I think the swimming pool was probably the best feature. It was so nice to come up from the beach and jump into the pool to end the day before getting ready for dinner. We enjoyed eating at Murrell's Inlet. Creek Ratz, Wahoos, Bovine's, and The Dead Dog Saloon were great. Also, California Pizza was excellent! We were not impressed with Crabby Mike's despite being voted #1 in 2017. All-in-all, this was a great vacation and a great house!

This house was absolutely worth every cent. I would recommend this house to anyone. We barely realized there were neighbors. Very quiet, away from the crowds and the house had every possible desire addressed. The only thing I would add would be room darkening shades for the other rooms other than just the main master suite.

Loved this house. We were impressed with the decorating and the attention to detail that the house had. Well thought out, i.e. the cooler outside by the pool and the wine cooler and extra small fridge in house. Only issue was the bedroom downstairs that sleeps 5 was very small, and the bunk bed is really low on bottom bunk. We would stay there next year, but we will be having more people and the house is not good for more people.

This home was wonderful in every way. It was very clean, comfortable, and well provisioned. The kitchen had every imaginable convenience, utensil, and appliance. The pool was a very nice size and provided a nice break from the beach. The sofa and living room area was very comfortable and clean. This home is one of the nicest rental homes we have stayed in. We have rented a beach house in GCB for the last 15 years, usually oceanfront, but decided to try out second row because of the pool. It was well worth it. My only suggestion would be that the owners add black out curtains to the downstairs King bedroom due to the morning sun being very bright.

This was the perfect vacation rental for two families of four. The kids loved swimming in the heated pool. There was plenty to do in the surrounding area to keep us occupied on the rainy days. We would highly recommend this to others.

We loved this house! We spent the week of August 17th at Beach Lovers! It had everything we needed to enjoy our family vacation. We had great weather and we absolutely loved the pool. The views from the house are great even though it is accross the street from the beach! The only complaint that we had was the mattresses in the bunk room were not very good. My daughter said it was sleeping on rocks! The beach access was a little further than we thought, but there is a path along the house accross the street that we were able to use after checking with the tenants there. We definitely would come back to this house.

The home was in nice condition and the location is excellent. Loved having our own private pool, which gave the kids, four of whom are teenagers, endless hours of entertainment in the evenings. They only asked to walk down to the pier twice! The pool was clean and the maintenance guy showed up three times while we were there. The basketball hoop was nice as well, as our kids used it for at least two hours each day (they're all basketball players :) The kitchen was very nice and updated. There was a public beach access two houses down, which was awesome. Negatives...The beds in the master bedrooms didn't have the most comfortable mattresses and there was a huge pile of linens in the kitchen when we arrived. Our house was last on the list for linen pick-up that day. On the upside, we liked that the linen package is included with this home. We had toilet flushing issues the first day, however maintenance showed up and took care of the problem quickly. We would totally rent this property again.

We travelled with our 2 young kids, aged 3 and 5. Along with another family and their 2 kids, aged 5 and 6. We found the house absolutely perfect for us. The layout was great, we felt like we had our own personal space if we wanted it, and we were not living on top of each other. The pool was excellent, the kids could stay in it all day, but personally I would have liked it a little warmer temperature. We brought the kids bikes, and the large driveway was a great place to for them to ride, while we sat on the patio and enjoyed our time as well! The beach was nice and close and very private. We walked down the beach to the pier, finding lots of shells along the way. Once we got there, we saw a man catch a baby shark, he was very nice showing it to the kids.That was a highlight for sure! There was a nice pizza place down the road that we walked to one night for supper, we mostly drove into myrtle beach for the evenings, which was a 20 min. drive. Overall, we had a great time and would stay at Beach Lovers again!

The house was very nice and the location was great! The only negative things that I would have to say is that the supplies of pots and pans were a let down. There were 10 of us and when cooking it made it hard not having enough or big enough pots or pans. The other two negative things were the dryer took a very long time to dry towels and ran excessively. And we could not find the 1/2 cup measuring cup the one day, I know not a big deal, well when we could not find the TV remote and looked under the couch, we found the 1/2 cup measuring cup and a few other things. Just think the cleaning people need to do a little better of a job of moving furniture and cleaning under things. Don't get me wrong the house was overall clean, just thing sometimes some things are over looked.

The kitchen will be inventoried and the pots and pans will be checked to make sure that there is adequate cooking equipment. Our housekeeping department should have checked under the sofa and chair cushions, however, they do not move furniture on a turnover cleaning. We loved the location and the house was as nice with the pool. A few suggestions that will really make this a great stay.. For as many guests as this house permits the kitchen pots and pans really need updated. There is not enough pots and pans to cook for 10 or more people.. and what is there has no non-stick remaining and is very bad shape. While linens were provided for all bedrooms no lines were provided for the loft pull out couch.. please add. I would also suggest more deck furniture. While there was a deck off one of the masterbedrooms there were no chairs outside to enjoy. If you add these details I think you have a slam dunk!

The location of the house in proximity to the beach was fantastic! We enjoyed having a private pool as well. There was plenty of room and closet space. The house could have been cleaner. There were burnt out light bulbs throughout, and the vacuum cleaner

Didn't get a chance to report this, but the dryer didn't seem to dry very good... might need checking on. The dial would not rotate as it dried and had we forgotten to go back to check, the dryer may have over-heated since it also wasn't cooling down in
the process.

Had a problem with one of the entry locks,also needed burner replaced on range. The repairs were made promptly and repairman was very cordial. The clothes dryer did not seem to be as hot as it should have been. The light fixture in laundry room needed attention.The entry doors were very soiled around the door knobs. we would rent this house again,had a great time!

Decor is a little dated but the house and pool were very clean. However, with the hunter green carpet throughout the house a decent vacuum cleaner is a must...the vacuum cleaner barely picked up debris. The rental agency was called and sent someone to vacuum for us and we were told the homeowner would be bringing a new vacuum to the house. Needless to say, one was not brought during our stay and we had to look at dirty carpet for most of the week! Unacceptable!
