This beautiful, clean, & comfy condo is absolute perfection — you cannot beat the location of the resort or the views from 304! All you see is the breathtaking ocean when you’re in this condo and the balcony is actual heaven on earth. The balcony furniture and table were so nice, we loved having our morning coffees and every meal out there — we even saw dolphins! The walk to the beach is so quick and easy, you’re just steps from the sand. You’re also a great walk to both piers, to the left and to the right; 1 mile and 1.5 miles. And very close to the town’s best restaurants, walkable or a quick drive. The condo is recently remodeled and is beautiful! I loved the sweet, personal touches of the family photos. The beds were comfy, everything was spotless, it had everything we needed & more! We cannot be back soon enough! Thank you for the unforgettable getaway in paradise!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was nice to not have to keep up with a key all week. The room was well stocked with furniture and supplies. We did find that all three adults showering close together would make the hot water run cold but we solved that for us. Overall we had a wonderful week.

The room was very nice and in good shape, the only negative would be the master bed is entirely too soft and the shower heads need updating because the pressure is so strong and it like a pressure washer with no adjustment, just little thing but it's things people should know.

We enjoy the location. We have stayed there in 2019, before Covid. It is within walking distance of The Conch Cafe. It is also close to The Gulf Stream Cafe.
The unit was clean. The kitchen was clean and the utensils were more than adequate. The laundry service was excellent.
The water pressure in the showers was very high. We had to wait between showers for the water to warm up. There was a musty smell near the commode in the master bath.

Overall our experience was nice. The master bed matress and pillows could definitely use an upgrade and the only other complaint I have are the little things that arent included. ie. One would think that they would not make out of town guests have to purchase garbage bags, dish soap, paper towl, toilet paper. I know this may sound petty but I'm sure we aren't the only guests purchasing these items and leaving them behind for the next guest. I called for an additoinal garbage bag (I only needed 1) and was told I needed to purchase them. So i'm there a week and need to purchase a box of garbage bags?? I guarantee everything I purchased and left behind were not there for the next guest(s).

Loved the condo. So spacious. The balcony furniture was absolutely great. For us, this was a big plus. The living room was very spacious. The owner does a great job with the furnishings. Everything we needed. The personal touches from the owner (family pictures) gave you the homey feeling. Very clean. My hats off to the owner and cleaning crew. Thank you for a great vacation. We enjoyed staying i this condo. It was evident that the owners are working to improve the unit. Could have used another chair in the living area. And the lighting in the second bedroom was not adequate.

We loved our stay in Surfmaster304. We would return for another visit! The condo is lovely and well taken care of, and there was really not anything that we needed that wasn't there. Beds were comfortable and the patio furniture was the best of any unit where we've stayed. There are some floors that could use a good scrubbing, but overall it was an excellent visit! We tried to book the same for Spring Break, but it was already taken, Darn!

We had a wonderful time. Beautiful sunrises and sweeping ocean views. Had a little trouble getting into condo, as it was not unlocked as we were told it would be. Also, drain in master tub would not open all the way and water accumulated. We used other shower. Faucet in master bath was VERY loose. Otherwise, property was well maintained. King size bed was very comfortable. Loved the big pillows.

We are returning Surfmaster guests but this was our first stay in Unit 304. Every time you open the front door and step inside, you are greeted with the most beautiful ocean views. The property is exactly as described and we found past reviews helpful. The third floor location of this condo made access easy from the stairs or elevator. Garden City is the perfect location. You can travel north into the heart of Myrtle Beach or travel south and be in Murrells Inlet in 5 minutes. We will return and we look forward to more relaxing days spent just steps from the beach.

Our unit was beautiful. It was clean and uncluttered. Loved the beach decor and pictures on the walls. The furniture was comfortable. My son and his cousins enjoyed playing the games that were there. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. There were plenty of bath towels. The pool area was well maintained. Management was friendly and helpful. The only complaint that I would have is that the carpet in the bedrooms was stained. Otherwise a wonderful place to stay. If I come back to Surfmaster again I would rent this unit again.

The unit was beautiful. The wall of windows was amazing. We could never get the living room tv to work. Pictures in book were not pictures of same remotes. Disappointed pool was so so so cold. No restrooms on bottom level. I would stay again just very small disappointments.

The location is ideal, the view unbeatable! Really nice that sheets and towels are included in the rental. Overall, the condo was clean, but the carpets could use a steam cleaning. I understand improvements have been made in the last year. I hope future improvements include a new couch, and new master bed. Overall, I would stay here again! Love Garden City, so relaxing. The lady in the rental office was a joy to work with! Email responses were fast, and all questions answered.

This 3rd floor unit is spacious, with a great view. Funishings getting older but good. Plenty of dishes and cookware. This unit has a view over the north Tower Jacuzzi. Huge Balcony. Very private and comfortable. All rooms have updated TV's and cable. The property management company is non intrusive and helpful. Had a great stay from Dec 21,2017 to January 29th 2018.
ISSUES: Recommend new mattresses in both bedrooms.

We enjoy renting from Garden City Realty and have no problem with them. The staff at the Surf Master is also helpful. The maintenance supervisor is superior in my opinion. The unit we stayed in had carpet that is filthy and needs to be replaced. The smell coming from the garbage disposal was nauseating, such you could hardly even stand to be in the kitchen. That did get taken care of. The kitchen is not very well stocked. I think the unit in general just needs to be upgraded. I would not want to stay in 304 again, but would stay in another unit on the property.

I loved the room an the deck also kitchen was well stocked. The mgr was very helpful because the week we were down there un known to manger there was construction starting same time which involved a very loud jack hammer right outside our door they were fixing railings omg soo loud it went on off an on for two days on our side the mgr was kind an refunded one day stay I appreciate that felt like should have been two from the noise that was coming thru wall but he was very empathic.. I loved room only suggestion I have is please get rid of those plastic blinds there were many missing an some were barely attached maintenance said it's a ongoing issue if they would switch to reg sliding curtains it would be so much nicer an keep more light out in morning when trying to sleep an easier to get on an off deck an open an close. Other than those two things I would stay again very nice room an view!!!! Thank you.

We have stayed at Surfmaster several times in different units, and enjoyed the location very much. We did have trouble getting the televisions to work, but someone came up right away to help. This unit was not as clean as most at Surfmaster.

Overall, this is a good condo. The location cannot be beat, the view is fabulous, and the Management and Maintenance employees were fantastic! There were several maintenance and housekeeping issues that I noticed when we first arrived with this condo: the front door looked a little weathered and the lock was very stiff and difficult to unlock, the sliding glass door handle was broken, the towel bar in the master bathroom was coming out of the wall on one side, some floor tiles are cracked in the master bathroom, the vents were extremely dirty, there were lots of flies in the kitchen ceiling light fixture, the outdoor furniture was filthy, the light carpet was very spotty, especially in the main walkways, and could stand a cleaning and the place needed to be dusted, the entire interior of the condo needs to be painted and the glass coffee table collapsed on one side when we tried moving it to pull out the bed in the couch. Maintenance promptly took care of the cleaning and maintenance problems that we reported (bugs in ceiling light cover, collapsed coffee table and the sliding glass door handle). Overall, this was a good condo and the furniture was comfortable.

I appreciate your kind comments about our staff and their attitude towards remedying these issues. Since your stay, the rusty front door has been replaced by the HOA with a rust-resistant fiberglass one. As a result, there are no more stiff locks or hinges to deal with. Similarly, the sliding glass door latch has been replaced. Also, the towel bar in the master bathroom has been reattached to the wall and the coffee table in the living room has been replaced as well. Christopher, We are glad to say that the condominium has received the TLC that you noted in your review. Since your stay, the front door and lock have been replaced by the HOA, and the vertical blinds and bathroom sinks have been replaced by the owner. Also, a new coffee table has been placed in the living room and the bedding on the twin beds has been replaced. These things, combined with the new air conditioning system, glass-top stove/oven, washer, dryer, and kitchen floor, have worked together to make Surf Master 304 a great two-bedroom condominium. While there were things with the condo that needed some TLC (no screen from living room to patio, carpet needing cleaning or replacing and broken lock on master bedroom sliding door--which was fixed upon a call to management), the condo was well stocked and clean and roomy with some care and thought to the decor. The couches were fairly new and comfortable. Having tvs and dvd players in each room was very convenient. Wireless worked great. Appliances were clean and almost new. The linen package was nice and appeared to include a roll of toilet paper and a bar of soap for each bath, which was nice when you first arrive and haven't gone to the grocery yet. The view was magnificent--not too high up but high enough to get a beautiful view, especially sunrises each morning, and far enough away from the noisy, massive air conditioners that are bothersome if you are in other rooms closer to them as we were on a previous trip. The king-sized bed was very comfortable. The swivel chair in the living room should never be replaced but needs reupholstering--it is a great chair. Parking was very convenient, and I noticed that the common property had been generally landscaped beautifully and painted since our last visit 4 years ago. The location is great, walking distance to restaurants on the beach and a 5-minute drive from a Krogers/package store/fresh veg and seafood stands.

Not a great kitchen if you plan to do a lot of cooking. All appliances are old, including washer and dryer. Cooking utensils need to be replaced. $20 at the dollar store would really help this situation. i.e. Bought a can opener since the one in the unit failed us.
TVs in all rooms are great, decorated nicely, furniture is very comfortable and new. Loved the recliner and the view from it!!

The condo was wonderful-spacious, clean, nice kitchen,(however needs to be "stocked" a little better), hot water was good, mattresses better than most rentals where we have stayed before, and the best balcony ever. Balcony in itself like any other, but the view was fabulous. It was definitely "a view with a condo.




Sunsets and sunrises were awesome. Got some great photos. Besides the
firecrackers every single night, it was basically pretty peaceful. Hopefully that
would not happen all year round, and we realize "tis the season,", and we were

visiting a state that legalizes fireworks-that's probably the biggest reason for all

the firecrackers.
Anyway, we appreciate having a place to have a memorable 4th of July holiday. Thanks to the owners, and Garden City reality.

Everything was great except for a loud group that would utilize the hot tub around 2 to 3 am daily. Our master bedroom slider would not shut lock was broken and we were woken up by their loud conversations.

This is our second year in a row in this particular condo-we love the place! However it does seem that a couple of areas could use some TLC. This year there was no screen door on the living rm sliding door which was sad because there were some great low humidity evenings that would've been great for enjoying the beach breeze. The handle to the bdrm sliding door was corroded from the salt air and disintegrated the first time we opened the door. Our main concern was that on our last day, there was no A/C the entire day due to an issue with a cooling tower (came back on at 5:00 as promised)...during this time we also had no water for several hours. It's totally understandable that repairs have to be made at some point, but what's alarming is that last year, same week, same condo, we also lost A/C for the entire last day we were there. Just makes us a little concerned. With that being said, Surfmaster is fantastic! The folks at Garden City Realty are great, the view is unbeatable, great location....we'll definitely be back, just hope that there are some repairs done this year to especially make the A/C a bit more reliable. Myrtle Beach is no place to be without A/C.

The most relaxing vacation ever! Realty office on location made checking in a breeze, very efficient and convenient. Our room was great, awesome view, very clean, furnishings were very nice, all the kitchen supplies you need. Extremely quiet, no noise from other units. This place was fabulous. We had an awesome time. We love the Garden City area, and this couldn't be located in a better spot. This trip in particular made this place perfect. I was having ankle surgery as soon as I got back home, but with the handicapped

accessible pool, I could pull right up with my scooter, take my boot off, and slide in the pool, to enjoy it with my son. Will definitely return for years to come.
