Surf Master 101

First of all the staff at garden city realty was incredible and so easy to work with.The property was very clean and spacious we enjoyed every aspect of the property I would recommend it to anyone looking to have a great vacation with their family.We cooked we swam we ate we boogie boarded we all had a great time.

Condo was better in person than pictures. Very roomy. Lots of space in the living areas. The oceanfront master is nice, the back bedroom has 0 closet space, which is unfortunate and inconvenient when you’re staying weeks at a time. Being on the first floor I was nervous, but it was really nice if you’re at the pool and hand over things.

Condo was roomy. The view was amazing. The only thing I didn’t like: The floor was dirty. My grand babies feet were filthy within an hour. My daughter went out & bought a mop.

The condo was clean and in order but the instruction on how to work the tv was out dated. The North pool has been drained 2 years in a row so we had to use the South Tower pool. The problem is we have kids and although an adult needs to be in the pool area, the rest of the family likes to communicate with the kids and adults in the pool area. That is the reason we always rent 101 or 103 for 2 wks on last wk of April and 1st week of May.

This condo is decorated so beautifully. We loved staying here and hope to come back again. Everything was perfect for our family. The deck is big and the chairs are so comfortable.This place has everything you need and more.The only issue we had was the floor gets slippery when it gets wet(was only an issue with our 18 month old) other than that nothing to complain about at all.The beds and pillows are the best!We loved it,thank you for having us!

We had unseasonably cold weather this year, but the location of our condo made it easy to get to local restaurants and attractions to still keep our family of seven occupied and happy for the week. We loved everything about the condo. You couldn't ask for a single thing, lots of linens, silverware, pots, pans, glasses. We had to have someone come out to look at TV and they were prompt and courteous. The condo was clean and neat. And the quick walk from parking to the door was great. We will be booking again!

We stayed for 7 days in Surfmaster 101, a 3-bedroom unit. We had 4 adults and 2 younger children. Unit was excellent with great space in the living area, kitchen and bedrooms. The walk in showers were great for the grandparents. Kitchen was recently redone and the counter space on the center island was helpful. Check in was easy with the electronic system and so was check out (wish the door lock had slightly fewer digits to remember!). Garden City Realty was great to work with and very helpful in steering me to a unit that meet our needs. They followed up with us after check in and completed a bit of late cleaning that the first cleaning crew missed - would highly recommend them as a rental agency.

This wasn't our first stay at Surf Master, but our first in Unit 101. Will I request Unit 101 again? Absolutely! The unit is beautifully updated and being on the first floor provided ease of access to the pool, the beach, and parking. The view was amazing and the unit was very clean.

We love the location of 101 as we don’t have to use the elevator and there is no foot traffic passing by our condo or windows. The condo is updated and nicely furnished. We only had a few small issues. The floors were not swept when we arrived as there was a lot of sand throughout. Also the twin bed in one of the bedrooms must not of been stripped as there was sand under the top sheet. There also was blonde hair on the bathroom counter in the room with the king size bed.

We Love this place. Been coming here since my children were little and still coming now that they are grown and have their own. I have never hand a bad vacation here! Others I talk to have been coming here for years too! This unit is very convenient and comfortable especially if you have small children or grandchildren. Love it!

Fantastic! The condo was gorgeous. Very updated and very spacious. The kitchen is amazing and has so much room. The view from the balcony is breathtaking and so convenient to watch my kiddos at pool. I stayed in a different condo that wasn't near as nice prior to this one. I'd stay here every time if had a discount!

This was our first stay in the Garden City area and we will be back. The convenience of stores and restaurants couldn't be better. Away from the big crowds and heavy traffic! Surf Master is tops too! Steps to the beach and the pool! With a 2 yr old and lots of chairs and toys this is important! Our only problem was the washer didn't work but the staff accommodated us with another unit washer. Also the sliding glass door would hardly open. Adults had to use lots of strength. We went through a bedroom sliding glass door to get in and out of the condo to the deck which was inconvenient if we had nap time. Condo well supplied with all kitchen items and the open layout was fantastic. We will be back and would like the same unit.

Great vacation Love this area of Myrtle Beach. First time in 40 years that we came in October. Temperatures were very cool. Still plenty to do and no wait at restaurants. Condo was very pretty and spacious. We came with my parents to celebrate their 60th anniversary. They had a great time !!!

The condo was extremely nice and you could tell the owners had recently remodeled. The only issue was the one bathroom's shower curtain had mold on it where renters failed to keep it out of the shower.

The property management was extremely friendly and helpful during the check in and check out process.

The location of this particular unit is also great.

This condo was just perfect! Great location super clean, staff was awesome w has no issues at all. Beds were so comfortable we have stayed in other places and have come back home with issues with our backs. We would definitely come back and stay again. Only issue we had was with the pool gate it’s really annoying when guest come in and out it slams and if you have smalll children napping it will wake them up. I would recommend that getting fixed.

Though you were inconvenienced by the noise of the pool gate, we want you to be assured that this was a result of the fact that the main pool gate was inoperable during your stay. Luckily, this main gate is expected to be repaired within the next week(before 7-14-18). This should reduce the foot traffic through the gate near unit 101 by 80+ percent. Beautiful roomy Condo. Equipped with everything you need except a hairdryer. Awesome views! The only negative was light in master bedroom at night from pool lighting, but only because the room is lined with windows covered by a white plastic shade, which allowed for a beautiful view during the daytime.

Beautiful and comfortable stay! Lots of room and the kitchen was nicely stocked that enabled us to cook, unlike most condos. All the beds were super comfortable and the deck was our favorite spot! Nice for handicap. Would love to stay here again in the future! Washing machine did not work, but no problems otherwise.

This was one of the best vacations that we have had. However, we were concerned that the owner wanted us to change our vacation spot 2 days prior to arrival because she was not done with renovations. This created a bit of stress for us, but the staff at Garden City Realty helped us to relieve the stress by taking care of the issue. When we stayed at Surf Master 101, we were a bit stressed by the sticky notes left by the owner about "rules" for setting things on surfaces and chairs. We were very respectful of the "rules", just like we are in our own home. I wish the owner the best in finalizing the renovations, but suggest that mid-summer is not the best time to complete those. It is a beautiful condo, and know that it will be even more beautiful following the upcoming changes. The owner has a real knack for decorating! We liked the location of the condo, and hope that if we return to that same condo next year, it will not be accompanied by the same rules that we experienced this year. The staff at Garden City Realty was very professional and enjoyable to work with. In the future, in about 8 years, we will be starting a search for a beach front condo to live in. Surf Master would be a great location for us.

Been here before, great location, great access to beach and restraunts, nice pool and facilities, there were some things I didnt like about the actual room we were in, blinds were broke, sink was clogged, master bathroom had a towel rack broke, floor felt like you were going to fall through,no blender, but other then those minor issues the place was clean and nice

We have rented vacation properties at SurfMaster for about thirty years. We love the location, and with a few minor problems are very well satisfied. This is the first time on the 1st floor at the pool--- our fault we just had a lot on our plate and kept putting it off. We will decide earlier next year. My husband prefers something higher--with a view.
But it was nice, in need of a little TLC, but nothing major. The appliances were superior and for that we were thankful. The little extras, pictures etc. were lovely. So thank you for allowing us to enjoy.

Overall our stay at Surfmaster 101 was very nice and enjoyable. Did have 2 balcony chairs with weakened rusty legs that broke. The maintenance guy replaced them very promptly. Other than that everything was in very good condition. We would definitely go back.

Sliding door blinds are missing several shades and need replaced.One chair in the living room is broke needs replaced. The commode in the master bathroom runs at different times the insides of the tank needs replaced. Over could use some updating but we were happy enough to want to stay here again in 2014. 3rd year with Surfmaster. Would like to have 3 parking spaces for 3 bedroom but I understand the reasoning for only 2. Very good place to stay.

We love the area, and this condo in particular. I love the decor! But...there is a broken chair that needs replaced, and a burner on the stove didn't work. Also some areas of carpet need replaced, as well as a good cleaning.

THE LOCATION OF THE PROPERTY WAS PERFECT. JUST THE PROPERTY WAS FAR ENOUGH AWAY FROM MYRTLE BEACH THAT THE TRAFFIC WAS OKAY. THE NEARNESS TO MURELL,S INLET AND THEIR GREAT DINING WAS A PLUS.
3 BEDROOM COND0 #101 WAS CLEAN/ WELL EQUIPED AND VERY SPACIOUS.
THE ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THE 2 BUILDINGS AND THE 2 RELATIVELY SMALL POOLS. 1 LARGER POOL WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE CONVENIENT.
WE WOULD DEFINITELY RETURN TO THIS LOCATION IF THERE WAS AN ALTERNATE ROUTE. THE TRAFFIC COMING INTO THE AREA FROM FLORENCE WAS TERRIBLE.

We loved our month at Surfmaster. We've stayed in the MB area for the past 20 years and have wondered how it could get any better but it usually does. This year we were able to meet and make good friends with some of the other residents along with having friends and family come and go a few days at a time and everyone was impressed with unit 101. We always decorate for Christmas since we're staying for the month and it makes it so "homey" for the ones who come. The kitchen items could use some updating...we added 6 teaspoons from the flea market and a lid for the frying pan since we like to cook , eat in and have others over...but all in all we were okay. We would like this unit again. We noticed that they had added a queen sized bed in exchange for a twin bed in the 3rd bedroom which was one of our deciding factors because my church ladies come one weekend and we need more than the twin beds so that helped. The unit also had a recliner and stools in the living area that helped those who needed feet up while sitting. Both of these influenced our choice of units. We are grateful to all who are willing to "share" their units with others that can't afford to buy. Hope to see you next year. Mary Rozier

We had a wonderful vacation at Surfmaster 101. The unit was clean and in very nice condition. The only issues we had at all was the DVD in living room didn't work ( luckily we had a computer to hook into the tv so we used that ) and the dryer was noisy so we ran it while we were gone. Oh and the TV in the 3rd bedroom was really old and didn't have cable so it was pretty much worthless. Besides that we loved the place! The location was great, the beach was very clean and not super busy most days. The pool was nice and clean. Our balcony was very close to the pool so we could just throw our pool toys up on the balcony that was nice. We had 3 kids with us and the unit was fairly quiet except for the occasional firework ( it was 4th of July week ) and the dumpster was right below us...they seemed to empty it at 3 in the morning. :-( We would stay here again... I expect not everything is going to be perfect and it wasn't but it was pretty close. Oh and this unit had 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms and a full kitchen. FYI We had a marvelous vacation and I would return again if we ever come back to SC. Thanks and Enjoy!
