House was in prime location on the beach. House was clean upon arrival. The master bathroom could use a little update on it but all in all we enjoyed our week. We did have to buy some terro and throw away some food in the cupboards due to ants polluting but they cleared up after 2nd day.

Loved sitting on the deck with the ocean view. Great location. The website pictures and description are pretty accurate. The bathrooms were small and somewhat outdated but worked for the two of us. Very nice to have your beach gear delivered for the week. Enjoyed our week and would return again

We are returning renters at Cloud 9 because it has everything we need: perfect location, convenient layout, appliances in good repair (including a new dishwasher!), a comfortable master bed, decent storage/closets. We don't need fancy, just comfortable. We had an issue with a bedroom overhead light/fan and Garden City Realty couldn't have been more helpful!

We love the location of Cloud Nine, having rented a house nearby for years. We chose Cloud nine because of the size, floor plan, and location: We need only 3 bedrooms , prefer a center living area, and have to be right on the beach! The house is clean and well-kept. It is old and the bathrooms are small, but who cares? The living area and kitchen are spacious, comfortable, and full of daylight. The one surprise is there’s not a usable closet in the main bedroom: that’s where the water heater is. We’d change that and put one of those small, immediate heat ones under the house. And we’d add a roof on the beachfront porch so we could sit outside more. We made future reservations before we left and hope to continue renting Cloud Nine for years! That tells you something!

Everything went very smoothly.The staff were very helpful we arrived early and they let us keep the luggage at the office so we could pick the rest of the family from the airport.

House was in a perfect location. Short golfcart ride to everything you need to visit. Grocery store, pier, nightly dessert(ice cream). Family would stay there again.
Bonus was the ocean was Caribbean blue for most of our stay.

Cloud Nine is a modest, cozy beach house in a fairly quiet location with a killer view. Yes the property needs some upgrades (interior painting, for example) but the owner has obviously made regular improvements. We had a couple of issues (kitchen light, trash can) and Garden City Realty provided prompt, helpful responses. We had a wonderful month there and really felt like we were on Cloud Nine!

Wonderful house! There are not very many houses that only have 3 bedrooms, which is all we needed. We have stayed here before and will definitely stay again. There is no dishwasher, but that is not a problem if you are prepared. Also, since the beach side porch is not covered, some sort of awning or umbrella would be nice. We also loved the tall chairs on the porch!! Great little house for small families!

This house is typical old school beach house. No frills but all you need for the perfect beach vaca. House is nicely decorated and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed both of the large decks/porches. Location is great. The only con is because of no dishwasher the house could really use a dish strainer/dryer. We loved this house and plan to book for our 2023 trip!

OMG! What a different experience our family had in this house from last year! I left a not so pleasant review last year about this property and every issue that I pointed out was corrected. We had a representative from the Garden City Realty team show up an hour after we checked in to make sure that we were in and happy with all of the the corrections that the homeowner made. This is now a great house for a small family like mine to call home for a week. There are not many small rentals around this area that are on the beach and this close to the GC pier, so thanks for the TLC that was given to Cloud 9 to keep families wanting to come back for more sand and sun! I will be calling this week to book Cloud 9 again for 2023!

The dryer did not work, maintenance came during our stay to repair. Dryer still did not work. Property definitely needs some TLC but overall great experience!

If location is important, and you are willing to forego the bells and whistles, this is your house! It was as clean enough and fairly comfortable. The deck overlooking the ocean was PERFECT! We were a family of 4 but the 3 bedrooms could handle plenty more. We rented beach cruiser bikes for the week which was a great way to explore the area. And it's a short walk to the pier for outdoor dining on typical beach food along with an ice cream shoppe. We unknowingly went during "Fall Bike Week" so there was pretty much a constant state of LOUD motorcycle noise every day til the wee hours. But I don't think that is the norm. With 1 remote worker and 2 kids virtual schooling wifi was very slow. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would go again.

Location, location! We could not ask for a better location for our family vacation. Home was right on the beach & had great views from the oceanfront porch. The only think that would have made this home even better was a enclosed outside shower, there is an outside shower but the knob was broke and you would have cut your hand if you used it. Also the kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal but the stuff needed to be cleaned. We had to go buy a coffee maker because the one in the home was very disgusting. I know this is an older home but could really use a good cleaning. Even with the dislikes I would stay here again.

our vacation was wonderful. This home is situated right on the beach and it was great not having to carry things out and set up everyday because we could walk right onto the beach. the home was clean and the process for check-in was made super easy by garden City realty. there are too many positives to list. beachfront, incredible views. great location, clean, as described, good furnishings, mattresses sleep well, etc.
the only negatives are that you do not have an enclosed outdoor shower which we are used to having and also that it is a mild foot-traffic in a half dozen houses on second row used this house to cut through to the beach instead of walking four houses down to the public access. We embraced it and as each family was cutting through the 1st few days we told them it was no problem and to have an awesome vacation :-) why fight it right? if you are neighborly there are no negative drawbacks to this rental. I would recommend this rental to any and everyone and I will give it a 9.5 out of 10 stars. I just felt it was important to mention the outdoor shower and foot traffic for the sake of anyone that wanted a really quiet private rental. as far as garden City beachfront goes, for any family, the location and low rental cost, I don't think you could do any better than this. rent it today! :-)

Cloud 9 was a great house. The view was absolutely breathtaking! We spent the most of our time either on the beach or on the deck. The only negative was the beachside deck was not covered.

The house is in a great location, the only thing that the it needs is a dishwasher, recycling bins and more trash bins. When we arrived Saturday 6/29/19 the one trash bin was running over and boxes on the ground. The trash was pick up Monday 7/01/19 and I placed our trash and the trash on the ground in the empty bin and filled it up so I had no place to put the remainder of the weeks trash but on the ground. Very clean house, great customer service.
I would recommend this house!

Unbeatable location. A few things in disrepair (water hose, shower door, inside front door lock, shower stopper) which we had to fix or deal with. The house was a bit dirty but kind of typical for a beach house. The main reason I rated the property lower for cleanliness was because of construction debris. I have little toddlers and I had to remove nails/siding from the sand right near the stairs and in front of the driveway. Recognizing I’m listing some negatives, this place is an awesome spot for a smaller family and I would/will stay there in a heartbeat again.

We loved the house, the location and the porches. However the inside needs a deep cleaning and an upgrade in furniture and beds. Also, the owners need to clean out cabinets and closets.

Cloud 9 was central to everything:Myrtle Beach,Murrells Inlet,shopping, restaurants etc. The highlight was of course to most incredible ocean view from the huge porch which was so comfortable and spacious! It was sooo convenient to virtually step off the porch and on to the beach. Sometimes we actually had a private beach there were so few people. We sat in chairs at night and watched the shooting stars and fireworks from the north and south. It truly was a magical time in our beach cottage which was comfortable. It would be nice if the beds were updated to queens and were a little more comfortable, but otherwise a great house to spend the week!

WE HAD A GREAT STAY. THE HOUSE WAS GREAT. THE ONLY THING I WOULD SAY IS THAT THERE ISN'T ANY CLOSET SPACE AS ALL THE OWNERS BELONGINGS ARE IN THEM AND IN THE KITCHEN THERE IS NO MUCH IN THE CABINETS THAT THERE ISN'T ANY PLACE TO PUT ANY FOOD FOR THE WEEK. WE HAD THE COUNTER SPACE COVERED BECAUSE OF IT. WE WOULD STAY IN THE HOUSE AGAIN. WE HAD A GREAT FAMILY VACATION.

Price was decent. Very clean. Beds ok. FYI: no paper products at all, no trash bags at all so we had to unload and go back out which was aggravating. Would have been nice to at least have a square of toilet paper and bags in trash cans bc they want all trash emptied at end. No dishwasher but that may be on description and we missed it. (And they want all dishes washed-no liquid detergent so we had to go back out again) Deck facing ocean new and much enjoyed!!!! View awesome!!!! GC realty is great!

Best week at the beach in years! The house was just as the photos shown on Garden City's website of rentals. Loved the deck on the back, so close to the beach. The house was mostly clean, but noticed dust on curtains and silk plants throughout. My family enjoyed surf fishing, walking on the beach and local restaurants, California Pizza and Drunken Jacks, which had a nice selection for lunch in the bar overlooking the marsh. I would recommend this property to others and would like to stay there again.

We really enjoyed staying at Cloud 9. This beach house is in a great location. The beach views from the back deck are excellent. The back deck is only about 15 yards from the beach. Lots of parking available under the house. At the time we stayed this house had upgraded cable and internet service. Excellent fast internet service that was able to handle all our devices (streaming video, etc.) with no issues. The only negative is this place does NOT have a dishwasher. This might be a problem for people that like to cook all week.
