Very happy with the location and overall unit. Disappointed in the cleanliness - I swept (I understand beach and the sand factor, but this was definitely not the case) and wiped down the unit when we arrived.

The condo was generally clean and in a great location. The condo lacked some simple items such as a toaster, baking sheets, etc. It could have used a deep clean as it was clear a surface clean is only completed after each stay.

The view is always perfect! When we arrived, door code wouldn't work, there were no towels/washcloths, etc, the AC struggled to keep the unit cool, the floors were clearly not swept as there was sand throughout, and the ensuite toilet ran the ENTIRE time, which being 10 feet from the bed, was pretty loud. We called maintenance and housekeeping regarding the door code and towels; both of those issues were corrected fairly quickly. On a positive note, the kitchen has all you'll need to prepare meals (pans, utensils, dishes, silverware, etc), nicely furnished, etc. Overall, a good stay, just needs a few tweaks!

This place is always nice to stay. Could use a pick me up in it however. The last 3 years we have stayed its the same. Still great but needs a brighten up.

We were disturbed every day except Sunday's by repairs from the hurricane. All the repairs were done right under our balcony and bedroom window. It was very frustrating. Also other repairs around the condo which affected where we could park. We realize they need to be done but would have appreciated a discounted rental fee.

Condo was very clean upon arrival. Great location. Unfortunately this year there was constant noise from workers repairing damage from the hurricane. Woken up early every morning with noise right outside bedroom window. Very annoying

We just love this place. Not too hectic and busy and can walk around. You are literally in the sand when you walk downstairs. Everything was perfect.

Everything is good, don't like paying for linens because we prefer to bring our own. Sheets were paper thin. Garden City Realty is quick to respond with any problems which is a plus.

Loved the location of this condo. Wish there was more storage. The owner had excess old blankets, mattress covers, pillows in the bedroom closets - both on shelf and on floor-we could have used that storage for shoes and clothes. Balcony and high top table furniture were wonderful. Need hooks on back of doors. Check in at GC Realty on 6/29 was a nightmare. We had to pick up part of our party at airport at 5:30 and I didn't think we would make it. Overall though, a great week.

Brilliant vacation.
Everything from easy booking, to cleanliness, to r & r and more this was the perfect break for us.
Location was the best and condo was clean and well laid out.
Garden City Reality went over and above and even went to get us a kettle for our cups of tea for our English family.
Overall a wonderful experience for us all.

We had a blast at Beach House 206! The space was perfect for 4 adults and 1 child. This was my little guys first beach trip (he’s one), and he absolutely loved it. The only thing I would change is the comfort level of the mattresses and the light shining in the front bedroom from the hallway.

Perfect location. Fell in love with the area. Loved the patio and patio furniture. We spent a lot of time sitting and watching the beach and ocean. Exterior of Condo Complex was well maintained. Missing a hair dryer and kitchen not well stocked. We had to buy measuring spoons. Did not like idea of paying for towels but when you fly in you don’t have a choice. Night fixtures and baseboards were not very clean.

We have rented many properties along the coast but this by far was the best location and views of the ocean were incredible. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. We are already planning our next stay here.

We booked our rental last minute and could not have been happier with the whole process. Our agent was helpful and patient as I called back several times with questions. The location on the condo could not have been better!! We woke up each morning to the sound of crashing waves. The condo itself offered more than described on the site. It does need a little updating but nothing that made our stay a bad one. Only complaint was the constant fireworks "shows" that the surrounding condos shot off outside our room at late hours. Again this did not hurt our stay just got old after the first two days. We would definitely stay here again!

Faulty lock should have been noticed, because it wasn't our condo was broken into and our laptop was stolen. We had a water leak, it wasn't handled in a timely fashion and caused water the floor. We did like the condos furniture and decorations, it was very comfortable.

Unit satisfied us and would rent again. Does need some work to make it a little better rental experience. As with anything has pros and cons, but pros outweighed cons. Pros - parking convenient, ease of access to beach, 3 TV's, 3 DVD's, no bugs, large balcony. Cons - entry door needs painting, rusted heaters in bathrooms very unattractive, rusted nails in baseboard, no table on balcony, some stained carpet, poor lighting in one bath, no hooks on bath doors, carpet on balcony torn badly. Most of these items could be easily fixed. Still a good experience.

Beach House 206 is a nice beachfront condo. The view of the beach was spectacular! The unit was clean and well-equipped. The air conditioning worked well, but was noisy. Most of the faucets are plumbed backwards, and were hard to turn on, and the kitchen cabinets were hard to open. There was an ironing board, but no iron. Adirondack chairs on the balcony were broken, and taller chairs would have given a better view of the ocean. The washer, dryer, and dishwasher were very much appreciated. The grounds on the beach front were littered all week with garbage, which was disappointing. But overall, this condo was a good choice. Loved the framed story about the owl!

The oceanfront view was fantastic! It was great to have early morning coffee or an afternoon read on the balcony. We were visiting family in Garden City so came and went at all times of day but always had a parking spot. The kitchen worked well, the only thing we missed was a cheese grater. We are a family of five so the twin beds were a factor in selection of this rental. Overall a wonderful and memorable experience!

We have been vacationing at the Beach House in Garden City SC for 26 years. We love it there and love The Beach House. Not all the hoopla of Myrtle Beach but it's just a short drive up the road if that's your 'cup of tea'! Pawley's Island Hammock Shops, Murrell's Inlet, The Marsh Walk and Brookgreen Gardens just a few of the highlights of the areaa!

This unit was nice, but having carpet in any unit near the beach is a problem. The one reason we love beach house 109 is it has hardwood floors. It does not stink at all and you can just sweep up with a broom. The carpet did not smell as bad as others units in Garden City. I will only rent units without carpet from know on. Over all it is nice to stay right on the beach and the building was quiet and the pool is nice. We love the location of beach house and Garden City. We love the Hot Fish Club best food in Garden city. Also the Porch needs a table and High back Chairs so you can see over the rail.
