Really nice two week stay. A little wet, with some remnants of Hurricane Helene. Nicely furnished. Well stocked kitchen.

The only issue we had was not being able to get the tvs to work.Not really an issue who goes to the beach to watch tv.Instruction on how to get the tv to work would be great. However we will rent this unit again. Weather and people we met we will be back to unit 614

My husband and I stayed with our two adult children and their partners (6 adults). Favorite feature is that each bedroom has its own bathroom. The unit is well represented by the photos. Comfy and homey. Plenty of supplies in the kitchen. Great view from the indoor and outdoor living spaces. We were there in mid June for excellent weather. The beach was busy, but not excessive. There was only one day where we couldn't get a spot at the pool when we wanted, but spots opened eventually. Can't remember if its in the description so I'll mention there is a pull out sofa in living room and a roll away bed tucked in a closet. There is a basic supply of sand toys and a pool floaties/noodles. 1 mile walk south to Garden City pier. 1.5 mile walk north to Surfside pier where there are more restaurants.

The condo was in excellent shape. Everything was clean. The kitchen is very, very well equipped. The only criticism is that the be in the master bedroom was really soft. The deck was wonderful - so large.

The condo, as last year, Was gorgeous. Some updates to make it more cozy beach feeling. We love the views from the room. This year we were alittle disappointed in the cleaning of the property before we had arrived. That should be address more. End stands had finger prints and the re were beads on the floor. Also the door for the washer and dryer does not slide very well.

Renting at Surfmaster, through Garden City Realty, was effortless. We were notified around 1:35 that our unit was ready and we had a keypad to enter, so all of it was super easy! The unit was beautiful, clean and welcoming and the King bed was the most comfortable ever!! We had a wonderful week!

Fantastic unit layout and view. Very well stocked kitchen and comfortable living room furniture. Only complaint is cookware pans and pots need to be replaced or bring your own. Unit needs some routine maintenance like painting,some electrical outlets replaced and bathrooms need updates, especially master bath. However rental rate was very reasonable and we were very happy with accommodations. Can’t wait to be back next year. Mary from Garden City Realty was great to work with and extremely helpful. Maintenance response was fast and professional.

Had my daughter and family there in July for a wonderful week right on the beach. The view from this sixth floor corner condo is beautiful, and then you can look down on the wonderful large swimming pool. We all loved it.

Family vacation over the 4th of July. Unit was not ready until 5pm and we departed on Friday, July 5th. Beach time, golf time and lots of friendship. It’s a looong walk to the pier. Elevators are quick. Pool was packed with noisy kids but it was good noise. Monster fireworks up and down the coast on the 4th. Military fly over on the 4th was weak.

Comfortable furniture, comfortable beds, very very clean. Keyless entry pad is the best thing ever--love love love when we get rooms where we do not have to keep up with keys!!!! The new locked gates for pool and beach access are wonderful as well! Pool was spotless. Jackie ( I hope I'm remembering her name right) at check-in is the sweetest lady!

Unit was as beautiful as the pictures show. Comfortable seating and spacious. We loved the ocean view and large balcony that is big enough up on 6th floor to not be disturbed by pool noise and enjoy the privacy. We did not do major cooking but kitchen appears to have all the basic need and then some. Ice maker is noisy so we shut it off ( NOT usual lift the lever!! Read directions.). Lots of great seafood in the area: Murrells Inlet to Pawleys Island. Also enjoyed visiting Brookgreen Gardens. Only downside was the week we chose was Biker Week and can get noisy. Will check dates next time to avoid that week. Otherwise, highly recommend.

This condo is very nice, when you walk in the initial view takes your breath away. I slept like a baby in the master listening to the surf at night. The floor to ceiling windows make the view even more amazing with making it feel like you are on a sea cruise and water is just all you see. I loved it there and so did my family. ON amenities I would have given a 5 star if there really was a heated pool like the website says there is. There is not, only heated hot tubs. It was centrally located and convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. The condo was immaculate and very well decorated. The only flaw was a tv in the master bedroom that had a problem with the volume changing on its on.

Only one small complaint. The DVD remote was missing, but we figured out how to use it anyway. No hangers, but we bought some cheap plastic on at Wal-Mart, left them in the closets, so that wasn't really a problem. I love Surf Master, look forward to coming again asap.

We have been staying at the Surf Master on and off for the past 20 years. This condo was in a good location and our stay was great! The one issue ( for me ) were the beds... they were very uncomfortable! They all were comparable to box springs in my opinion, but I favor a soft bed. If you can't sleep on a very firm bed, this condo is not for you. I will reserve 614 again if the beds were upgraded with a pillow top.

We enjoyed our vacation at Surfmaster! The space is good and the balcony fantastic. We love the view, the pools and the beach space and cleanliness. We did not appreciate fireworks every single night very close to our unit as we have small children. Some ash/pieces of the fireworks even blew onto the balcony while we were sitting out there. We also felt a little unsafe at night as there were some questionable characters.
The unit itself is nice and well kept for the most part. It is slightly dated but we didn't mind.

The king and queen mattresses needs replaced. Door to balcony was very difficult to work. We finally called maintenance and made it much better! Ice machine didn't work properly, we purchased 4 bags of ice for the week. Maintenance Looked at but it never produced more than a tray or two per day. Rug got our 10 month old filthy when he crawled on it but we vacuumed it and he stayed cleaned after that so just needed vacuumed.
Condo was pretty nice. Really nice balcony furniture. Had all we needed to eat and cook.

Linens were really terrible. I rented two condos and everyone complained their fitted sheet ended up in the middle of the bed every morning. Terrible. And the towels got white fuzz on everything including our Bodies when we tried to dry off with them. Heaven help you if you get one with your dark clothing!!

Now... after all of this you may wonder why I gave the place 4 and 5 stars...

Well the worse thing was the linens and that's not really the condo..that's the linen Co they use, which they Seriously need to replace.

The other items besides the mattresses, that really needs addressed by owner, the other problems didn't prevent us from enjoying the condo which we liked. If they get some good mattresses, I would definitely rent again! I went to Walmart and purchased a pad for on the bed to fill in the dips and it did help some.

I pride myself on giving honest reviews so people can know if I write a review..they are not going to run into any surprises because I will tell all.��

2017 Everything went well. We had no problems during our stay. One of the best things about this unit is the view of the ocean--there are floor to ceiling windows in the living room and master bedroom. In addition, 614 is an end unit, which makes it very quiet. The kitchen was also fairly well stocked. The unit, particularly the furniture, needed a good cleaning. But that didn't prevent us from having a great and relaxing vacation! We would definitely stay in this unit again.

Condo is beautiful and comfortable. With a great ocean view. they were replacing the deck at the south building, so we had to go to the north building to use pool and hot tub, Then the hot tub there broke down for a couple days. But things happen and you need to expect this when you travel in off season. Would go back in a heart beat!!!! The last day we had some rowdy neighbors move in upstairs, it would be helpful if the building had some type of security on site.

614 is an end unit on the south and & is a great location. The oceanfront balcony was very private, yet you could see one of the pools below. The condition of the unit was very good, and the size was perfect for 5 people. I would recommend this unit and would choose this unit again id travelling to Myrtle Beach on vacation.

I have stayed at this property before but in a different unit, Love it all, enjoy coffee each morning on the balcony, more than enough room for everyone, kitchen is great(blender would be nice). Unit is very clean, loved having all linens included. Only problem I had was the door lock and key were very tricky, small problem. Will stay with them again.

Everything was great with just a couple exceptions. Parking was horrible!!! There is simply not enough room for all the guests. There were a few issues in the room that were reported, but were never taken care of, at least not while we were there. The fluorescent lights in the kitchen had burnt out. The outlet in two of the bathrooms by the sinks quit working, which was very inconvenient when trying to use a blow dryer or flat iron. It was an inconvenience, but not the end of the world. Otherwise, all was good and I would like to stay in 614 again. We've stayed at the Surfmasterbythesea several times and all felt like this was the best unit we've been in.

Great place to stay. Very nine month old granddaughter was crawling every where so I was very appreciative of the clean carpets. The furniture was new and very comfortable. The only problem was when we were all getting ready to go out, we would run out of hot water. There were four adults and one baby. I would definately stay here again.

Condo very nice. Parking was not a problem. Nice pool area. Building maintenance NOT SO MUCH. Only concerns were the refrigerator door was broken. This was aggravating. The window came off the track in front bedroom. Maintenance came and checked the wrong window and never did fix the problem while we were there.

Our specific condo was very well furnished and modern. Overall cleanliness was o.k. The comforters on all beds appeared dirty and stained. Only one of us could take a shower at a time, because the hot water would not supply 2 or 3 of the showers at the same time; therefore many cold showers were taken in the week. The kitchen was the best part of the condo and one of the best supplied that we have ever stayed in.

We took out granddaughter and a friend for spring break. We loved the condo as soon as we opened the door. The view was breathtaking. It was very updated and clean. The weather was terrible the whole week but we still had a great time. The weather cleared up the weekend so I extended my stay another 3 days. Would definitely return.

This rental property was overall very nice. The furniture in the living and dining room was very comfortable. The mattresses on the beds were very uncomfortable. The owner needs to upgrade the mattresses for the price he is charging for the condo. The owner also said there was a Keurig coffee maker, but we never found it. Had to have the TV in the living room serviced because their was no picture. This should have been checked and taken care of prior to our arrival. Otherwise we had good weather and enjoyed the week.

This is a nice and comfortable unit. We've stayed in the Surfmaster several times before and we would definitely rent this unit again. The kitchen is well appointed and has nice, new appliances, and the flatscreen TV's in every room are a very nice touch. The AC works great! Enjoyed the new furniture on the patio, too. We felt right at home.

At first the unit we selected was not ready due to a contractor error. The property management company was proactive and notified us and found a very good replacement. The company could not have been more helpful. The unit was in great shape. We were very happy and would return.
