The location was great! The house does although seem to be very n need of some repairs. Some nails popping up on top deck, ice machine is still not working ( should probably be removed from the description). Sliding doors are still very hard to open ( previously mentioned in reviews of multiple years). There was some lamps with no lightbulbs but maintenance came and fixed that quickly. House is large and accommodated the the whole family nicely, although pictures created the idea that kitchen was larger. Kitchen was extremely well stocked - only thing that we were missing was a mixer, lol, but how often is that even needed on vacation. There was a good amount of sand toys and beach chairs left from previous rentals which we were pleasantly surprised about and thoroughly enjoyed having on hand to use at the beach. Overall a nice house but just needs some TLC. We noticed the property has recently been sold, so I would assume a new owner would hopefully fix some of the things that have been mentioned in all the reviews.

This is my 4th time staying here and hope to come again next year. It is spacious and the outdoor balcony/patio space cannot be beat. We were lulled to sleep by the sound of the surf and never tired of watching the waves and taking long walks on the beach. Their is a seafood restaurant within walking distance which is great when no one feels like driving. I highly recommend Penthouse D.

Loved our stay! Very clean, nicely furnished. The view was beautiful!! I really liked that linen was wrapped in plastic. A nice fresh coat of paint is probably needed but would not keep me from staying again. Nice location and staff very professional. Great experience!

As usual stating in 1207 for the fourth year has been a great experience. Sheets for twin beds need to be deep pocket for the bottom as it is very hard to use regular ones n these beds. Everything else has been taken care of. Thank you Garden City Realty.

The condo was very comfortable; the only issue was not being able to completely pull down the door to the dishwasher, making it hard to place dishes in bottom of it. Don't know how this could be relocated however.

We had a VRBO cancellation less than one week before our vacation was scheduled to start. Finding this property 5 days before we were scheduled to arrive was a miracle.
The house is clean and well furnished, there were ample dishes, flatware, kitchen space, and beach toys. The beach is open and our two daughters were able to play and run on the beach without disruption or fear of crowds. The pool is well kept and was never crowded. Overall it was a fantastic experience and it's likely we will be back.
One critique is that the black deck paint gets extremely hot during the day, you can't make the trip to the pool or the beach barefoot without burning your feet.

This was our 2nd stay at Gulf Stream Villas 114.This unit is spotless , very tastefully decorated, and has a well stocked dream kitchen.We loved the king size bed in master bedroom , and the 2 queens in the other 2 bedrooms. It also has 3 full size bathrooms , 2 of those with walk-in showers. It is just steps away to a beautiful pool and just a short walk to the beach.Garden City is a very quiet family beach, and just a short 10 minute drive to Murrells Inlet, the seafood capital of the south.We're looking forward to another stay here next year.Garden City Realty was very professional in the reservation process, and check-in and check-out.

We loved our month at Surfmaster. We've stayed in the MB area for the past 20 years and have wondered how it could get any better but it usually does. This year we were able to meet and make good friends with some of the other residents along with having friends and family come and go a few days at a time and everyone was impressed with unit 101. We always decorate for Christmas since we're staying for the month and it makes it so "homey" for the ones who come. The kitchen items could use some updating...we added 6 teaspoons from the flea market and a lid for the frying pan since we like to cook , eat in and have others over...but all in all we were okay. We would like this unit again. We noticed that they had added a queen sized bed in exchange for a twin bed in the 3rd bedroom which was one of our deciding factors because my church ladies come one weekend and we need more than the twin beds so that helped. The unit also had a recliner and stools in the living area that helped those who needed feet up while sitting. Both of these influenced our choice of units. We are grateful to all who are willing to "share" their units with others that can't afford to buy. Hope to see you next year. Mary Rozier
