We had our 4 children and my mother-in-law and we all enjoyed our stay tremendously. We saw the most beautiful sunrises from the deck and everyone spent most of their time on the beach. The home is beautifully decorated- so white, clean, and not overcrowded with stuff. One word of warning-if you have a big vehicle like we did (a Club van), getting out of the parking spot is difficult since there is a house right behind this one. Also, would love a garbage disposal and a queen bed in one of the bedrooms. We had one problem with not being able to get the DVD to work and I was very impressed with how Garden City sent someone out immediately and fixed it.

We had a nice vacation this year. We found the house clean and accommodated our large family. We would have liked to have a larger pool for the kids. We did have trouble with flies in the pool area. We thank you for the reimbursement for golf cart which was great for getting back and forth from the beach. We enjoyed making memories last week at the beach.

This is a delightful place to celebrate with family.
we only had one bad experience. The heat went out two times in Surfmaster 107. But- the maintenance man came immediately both times and got it to work. He indicated that the unit probably needed to be replaced. So- hope that is taken care of before someone else gets cold!

Lovely weather, Lovely accommodations,Lovely vacation! Love Garden City and being so close to the beach. Can't beat walking out the back door and hitting the sand! Have been traveling to Myrtle Beach for some 50 yrs. Can't be beat!

We really enjoyed our stay at Abernethy Cottage. The bungalow was reminiscent of beach houses of the past. The home was extremely clean and well taken care of. The location was perfect. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the waves come in on the beach. The only suggestion I’d offer is to invest in some new living room furniture. The material on the couch and loveseat was dingy and appeared soiled. We really didn’t want to sit on them.
The staff at Garden City Reality was extremely helpful and great to deal with. We have rented a number of beach houses from them in the past and will continue to do so in the future.

This vacation was a birthday present to my wife. The weather was wonderful, and we escaped snow and ice. We loved this oceanfront condo. We will come back again.
We also like the electronic keypad.

We loved the place and all of the extra touches like books, puzzles, kids toys etc. BUT the living room was awful to sit in. It’s so bad I couldn’t even stand up on my own.....I had to have help every time and it wasn’t very comfortable either. I saw the bad furniture reviews from last year and assumed something had been done about it. Nope. My star reviews are based on the living room furniture and the challenges we had with it. Otherwise the star reviews would have been all 5s. Would definitely stay again if there’s new living furniture.

I think that the down spout on the balcony should be fixed or it will rot away. The rain water washed directly on the balcony and is pulling the railing apart. Other than that the view is great and I will be back.
