The house looked exactly like the pictures. It could use some updating of the kitchen and furniture. The main ceiling fan in the living room didn't work and the main back sliding door was hard to open. None of the knives were sharp enough and there wasn't a single pair of scissors! I never knew how much I missed scissors lol! But as far a comfortably, super comfy! The outdoor shower was awesome after the beach. The dock was nice as well but could use some type of shelter from the sun, we lost one beach umbrella due to wind, trying to shelter us. I would stay here again, even if the renovations aren't done. I also wish there was a washer and dryer on the property. A maintenance man came to change the air filter while we were there, super nice and humble! So was the housekeeper who came to vacuum the floors when I asked for someone to come. Southern hospitality at its finest!!

Norm Clay was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was referred to us by a friend and from start to finish he was there advocating for the best outcome. The single family home we sold was a rental property. The day our renters left Norm met us at the property, we discussed market trends, the current condition of the property, value of the home, what upgrades would benefit us in a sale and the realistic return on investment. My wife and I performed 90% of the work with specialists performing the other 10%. Norm provided referrals for contractors in specialized areas like granite, attorney’s and HVAC. Our house had 2 offers the first day and was under contract after a short negotiation process. Closed in under 45 days without a hitch! We haven't been to the Myrtle Beach area for 20+ years. And, found that the Garden City area (at least during the off season) is still relatively quiet and more family friendly. Murrell's Inlet on the other hand is more busier than I recalled. Still wonderful food and "quaint". LOVE the fresh seafood! Our vacation rental (Penthouse) we loved with the wrap around and opened deck. While it was too cold for the pools, they were open and available. The property was well maintained with the start up of flowered pots and budding trees. Quite beautiful!

This rental was absolutely fantastic. The location was great - just removed from the bustle of Myrtle Beach, but easily accessible. we hope to plan another trip so we can stay in this unit! it's gorgeous and very well furnished.

Started out poorly, pool and deck closed first 3 days, next the stairs to the beach closed for 3 days( after the pool was opened) refrigerator shelves broken, kitchen faucet leaking and kitchen floor slick as ice. Garden City reality was quick to fix the last 3 items! We were very happy when the pool and deck opened. Unfortunately, the last 2 days of our 2 week stay, they closed the pool again for a permit payment that was overdue! This is the first time we had an issue with this place. We will stay there again as we made many friends with renters and owners. It really is a nice place! Everyone has an off experience but the Realty was great at fixing our problems. They could not control the damage from the hurricaine Ian.
