We have stayed in this unit many times. The new paint, carpet made it feel very nice. Someone should take a look at the stove. It needs new burners or they need to be repaired. Two of them you really couldn't cook on.

The house was very nice. It was clean and livable for the small amount of time we were there. Great location in reference to getting to the beach. There were a few problems. There were ants in the siding of the house.The ants came in the back door which is directly at the kitchen. So we had to throw out some food that they got into. There was not a grill in the property, and with COVID precautions in place, it was disappointing. Not many food places were open to seating, and if we ordered out, the food was cold by the time we got it to the house. So we went out and bought a tailgate charcoal grill so that we could have decent meals. Also, there was no plug in or electrical outlets downstairs for the golf cart. We had rented a golf cart and had to throw the cord on the front porch balcony just to charge it. Also if you have small children that can open doors, I would reccomend you bring door handle covers as the doors are very easy to open.

Pleasantly surprised. I read reviews about the elevators being out of commission. We never had to wait more than a minute or two for an elevator. The hot water in the condo could have been warmer but overall everything was better than I expected.

We had stayed at Atalaya Towers years ago but in a different unit. We absolutely loved unit 703!! It had a lot of things that we would have had to go out and buy like soap and things such as that. That was a wonderful surprise! Thank you Garden City Realty!!! We had a wonderful experience!!

Due to such late planning I called the office vice booking online. Susan was great to work with and sought out two properties that met my needs for a broken week schedule that wasn’t the traditional Sat to Sat model. Without her help we would have moved on to another beach up the coast and not have experienced Garden City Beach and it’s unique family beach feeling. Loved the proximity to the Garden City Pier. Live band every night was great. Only negative was the parking allowed for only one vehicle on sight. However the free overflow parking met our need, It was located about 2 miles away. The unit we stayed in could have used a handyman to fix the minor issues we encountered. Note: I didn’t report any problems as the issues didn’t change my experience and weren’t major concerns. Things such as loose and broken floor trim. But overall the place was cozy, cool and clean. We would stay in it again and would recommend to our friends and all others. The house was great, clean and as advertised. We ended up in the house more than the beach due to the storm, so one small negative for us was the only TVs with streaming capabilities were the master and living room. The other bedrooms had nothing connected. The other small disappointment for our teens was the pool. It’s very small - basically a kiddie pool. Only enough room for a few people. Other than those 2 minuses for us, it was a good place to stay, close to the beach and not too far from the pier. I would recommend this house if our small negatives don’t bother you.

Loved this house. We were impressed with the decorating and the attention to detail that the house had. Well thought out, i.e. the cooler outside by the pool and the wine cooler and extra small fridge in house. Only issue was the bedroom downstairs that sleeps 5 was very small, and the bunk bed is really low on bottom bunk. We would stay there next year, but we will be having more people and the house is not good for more people.

Granted we came the first of May, last week of the better pricing, but it was perfect weather and no crowds. The condo (Surf master Master 1105) was beautiful! The recent remodel and update was done well. The new shower in the master bath was so nice.
There was nothing we wanted for. If anyone has not noticed on these condos, the balcony is extra deep and very relaxing. The tall table and seating was very welcome because you could rest and still see over the balcony, not through it like so many others with a low table and chairs.
The Kitchen was very well equipped with every gadget you could want. The rest of the place was also furnished well. The laundry was so convenient, we ended up going home with no dirty clothes to wash when we got home.
Being it was our first time there we were not sure of the layout and parking situation but if you find the lower level parking (right off the street) park, use the north elevators on the left as you look at them, and got to 11th floor, 1105 will be to your right a couple of steps. Follow the directions to the door locks carefully and you are in. No lobby or human contact required.

Beautiful home and the three Gable windows made it easy to find from the beach side after long walks. The home was well appointed, everything worked, and it appears that a recent update was completed. The big decks were well used by us during our trip. Loved the ample deck furniture and it was well constructed, not flimsy. My only complaint was there was no gas grill(?) provided. For a $5k weekly rental, that amenity does not seem like too much to ask.

Thanks to the work of Garden City Realty and the generosity of property owner, JoAnne, a vacation lost to a hurricane evacuation was able to be made up a couple months down the road despite opting out of travel insurance. Weather was incredible for late October and we really enjoy the charm of Beach House 109 and the amenities of the complex in general.
