This home is absolutely the perfect spot for my wife and I to get away, relax, and enjoy the ocean front view while listening to the sounds of the waves. We love the fact that it's a one family home.
Other vacation homes in the area are being built with several units that house many families, similar to a condo or apartment. Those places can get annoyingly loud with screaming kids, loud get-togethers, etc. That's just not our style. We prefer the cozy atmosphere and privacy this lovely home offers us. It's always very clean and well maintained. It comes equipped with everything we need to make our stay perfect for the week. And of course, the fact that it's close to many different restaurants, shops, and attractions is a big plus.
We WILL be back next summer!

First time renting through Garden City Realty - the experience was great. The staff was friendly & helpful. We arrived early and the house was ready, so we didn't have a wait. The location of the house is perfect, it's just a short walk to the beach. There was 6 of us and we had plenty of room.
We did have some issues with the pool - the pump was not working correctly (it would not run) & was in constant need of cleaning - we called & the pool cleaner was there within 5 minutes. They cleaned the pool & it did ok, but the next day same issue. There is a tree on the other side of the fence and that was another part of the problem with keeping the pool clean.
Overall we had a great stay and will definitely rent from Garden City Realty again.

My family and I stayed at Compass Rose 12 for Christmas and we had a wonderful time. The condo was beautiful, it felt like home. We are already planning a return trip for Thanksgiving and hope to stay at Compass Rose 12 again.

I'm a single mom of 3 and have taken them to the beach every Spring Break for the last 12 years. Due to my income and supporting my children, I have to carefully watch how much I spend on a rental house. This house was priced within my range and on the marsh (we love to fish) so I booked it. The best decision I've made in 12 years! Price, house, location, and everything else was awesome. If my income allows, this will be the only house I rent in the future.

The house was very nice. It was clean and livable for the small amount of time we were there. Great location in reference to getting to the beach. There were a few problems. There were ants in the siding of the house.The ants came in the back door which is directly at the kitchen. So we had to throw out some food that they got into. There was not a grill in the property, and with COVID precautions in place, it was disappointing. Not many food places were open to seating, and if we ordered out, the food was cold by the time we got it to the house. So we went out and bought a tailgate charcoal grill so that we could have decent meals. Also, there was no plug in or electrical outlets downstairs for the golf cart. We had rented a golf cart and had to throw the cord on the front porch balcony just to charge it. Also if you have small children that can open doors, I would reccomend you bring door handle covers as the doors are very easy to open.
