Enjoyed marsh view, the wild birds, the small fish jumping. Kayaking in the marsh every day. No grill provided, but I brought a portable and cooked behind the home daily. We grilled tenderloin, fish, hot dogs and burgers. Elevator worked well for moving in the heavy stuff. The electric kitchen range is a junk, but works, The kitchen exhaust fan did nothing for smoke (another reason for grilling outside) First floor porches on rear of home are covered by second floor and have hammock and comfortable chairs for sitting at end of day to watch sunset with a drink in hand. Plenty of seating for adults ha big table and grandkids on the windowed porch. Lots of parking for six cars (we had 5) so everyone can come and go without moving cars. Easy beach access just across the street.

We pretty much kept to ourselves and socially distanced from the outside. Activities included: beach walks, view sunrise on beach, Magnolia Gardens, archery range, deep sea charter fishing and kayaking/stand up paddle boarding in the marsh creeks.

The condo was very clean and up to date with decorating and furniture. A plus was that we were able to check in a little early as well upon arrival. We wished the den had a larger TV in it - I think there was a 32 or 40 inch in there? Our other wish would be that the bed in the master bedroom be replaced as it was worn out. Mattress was un-even and dipped and everytime one of us moved the entire mattress moved and disturned the other person. Not very comfortable to sleep in and get a good nights rest. We would come again and stay in this unit if the mattress was replaced. I would have given 5 stars if it were not for the mattress issue.

Great stay all and all. There were a couple empty spots under the building but only 1 pass was provided. Most groups of 6 come in multiple cars. Nice place great location.

we came into a refreshingly clean and comfortable condo that was well decorated and equipped with anything we needed, including a beach umbrella! We loved sitting and enjoying the gorgeous ocean view with a good beverage or a good book, and beach access from the spiral staircase was a wonderful plus. Lovely place and lovely well maintained place to spend beach time.

Unit 34 was great! We loved the hardwood floors throughout due to having a crawling child. We also loved having the washer/dryer in the unit.

Serenity by the Sea is our favorite property! We have rented for several years and hands down this property is the best. It has everything you need for your home away from home. It is clean, comfortable...a great space to gather and a great place to have individual quite time if you need it. I would highly recommend this property. Also, Garden City Realty is the best! Our family of 16 in one house? You might think this is going to be a disaster! Mariposa is just the place - only when seated around the dining room table do you realize just how many folks are in the same house. It's absolutely wonderful for our family. From the management company who works with us every month as we pay off our vacation prior to coming all the way through checkout it's so easy. We love having the beds made prior to our stay as well. After driving 8+ hours the last thing you want to is make all those beds. This is a service worth paying for. We're free to jump into the pool or ocean and enjoy the first day to the fullest. I'd definitely recommend Mariposa to anyone with a large family. Thanks Garden City Realty for your help over the years and to the owners for allowing us to stay at your beautiful house. FYI - a spring on the screen door might keep it from getting caught in the wind and help keep the lower screen to keep from tearing. This always proves to be a problem even though we try to be vigilent about closing it carefully the younger children have trouble with it when the wind is blowing. See you next summer!

We enjoyed our visit at the IR House in Garden City. The house was comfortable and especially great for us because of its location on the creek and closeness to the beach. Beautiful sunsets from the back deck!
