Came back to Garden City Beach after 15 years. Our home, the view of the marsh, covered dock and pool didn't disappoint. This home is fabulous, owner makes sure all is good and Garden City realty extremely responsive to all questions. Hope we can get this home again when our family decides to return.

We had 2 14 year olds and 4 adults. The layout of this space was fantastic. Everyone loved the week we spent there. The shades on the windows, and the additional air conditioning unit are so helpful in keeping the condo cool. The kitchen was fully stocked and even has a keurig! The balconies and the hot tub are such a bonus. Would definitely recommend this property.

We stayed for 7 days in Surfmaster 101, a 3-bedroom unit. We had 4 adults and 2 younger children. Unit was excellent with great space in the living area, kitchen and bedrooms. The walk in showers were great for the grandparents. Kitchen was recently redone and the counter space on the center island was helpful. Check in was easy with the electronic system and so was check out (wish the door lock had slightly fewer digits to remember!). Garden City Realty was great to work with and very helpful in steering me to a unit that meet our needs. They followed up with us after check in and completed a bit of late cleaning that the first cleaning crew missed - would highly recommend them as a rental agency.

This is our third summer staying at Surf Master 106. We reserve it for a 5 night stay. Our condo was ready when expected, clean, great parking, nice family atmosphere. Grocery store, pharmacy, gift shops, ice cream parlors and restaurants are all within 2 miles of the condo. The view is to die for... First floor balcony facing the ocean. A lifeguard was stationed from 9 to 5 directly in front of this condo.

We’ve stayed in the same condominium every year for the past 15 years. It is like our home away from home. We note changes that the owners have made and enjoy the familiarness of things that are the same.
The screened in porch adds more living space. The pool is great and the landscaping is lovely.
Hopefully we will have many more years at Compass Rose.

The location was fantastic. It was clean, and we had more than enough space for 4 adults. There were a few minor maintenance items, but they were either repaired quickly or we let the company know about them.

This particular condo would be an excellent choice for a family with older kids - the three flights of stairs could be a lot for older people or little kids. There also isn’t any ground floor storage available, so beach stuff either needs to stay in a car or be hauled up the stairs.

We’ve stayed in Wachesaw previously, in a different cottage, and wanted to return. The Wachesaw Plantation is an idyllic setting, very well maintained, quiet and with golf, tennis, a lovely swimming pool with cafe, and the Kimbles restaurant. Property was bright and airy, fitting the description of the details and looked after after us well for the 2+ weeks that we stayed there. I would certainly recommend it as a place to stay for a quiet get away.

The kitchen was stocked with nice pots, pans, cutlery and silverware. The fridge was cold. However, guests are forbidden to turn AC below 70 degrees and I was warm. Also, the blinds in the bedrooms don’t block out light so my kid was awake for the day at 2:53am due to extremely bright porch lights (I had to buy tinfoil and tape to darken the bedrooms; blackout curtains over the blinds would be ideal. The sliding glass door is broken so it doesn’t block out noise from fireworks well and takes two people to lock the door closed. The dishwasher washes dishes but the bottom tray is broken so loading it is very difficult. We had no issues with the bathrooms. Condo was tastefully decorated. New carpet in the living room. Large closets. The swimming pool is in disrepair. Indoor hot tub is blocked with caution tape. I want to end on a good note for room 1511-the closet in hallway is my favorite thing! There is a hanging rack to dry freshly washed swimsuits and wet life jackets. There’s a bench for your beach bag, space for boogie boards (they had a few there already), and floor space for our sandy shoes. A broom and dustpan are on the wall so I could sweep up the sandy hallway each day. Overall great, with room for improvement. I wish I could post the pictures I have. We dined at Sarah J’s, had Painters Homemade ice cream (I recommend the peach), and played putt putt at Adventure Falls which should be completely renovated for summer 2023. Grocery stores and Walmart very close by.
