Drew McElveen is proud to say he is a true local. Born and raised in Murrells Inlet, he grew up involved in all sorts of area activities. Led to the University of South Carolina at Aiken via a collegiate golf scholarship, Drew graduated Cum Laude in 2014 with a degree in Business Marketing. After college, he joined Garden City Realty as a Vacation Planner in the Rental department. Within a year, Drew began attending school to become a licensed Realtor® and, shortly after receiving his license, was promoted to the management position of our Surf Master By The Sea office.  

Between 2015 and 2021, Drew consistently looked for ways to improve owner relations and ensure that each guest experience was exceptional. He thrived on the feeling that came with accomplishing tasks and truly worked to embody the vision that "Every number has a name. Every name has a story. And every story matters to Garden City Realty.”

In July 2021, Drew became co-owner of the entire company when he purchased 50% of Garden City Realty from his father, who had previously overseen Vacation Rental Operations for 45+ years. At that time, Drew assumed the role of Vice-President and Broker-In-Charge of Vacation Rentals. Since then, he has worked alongside his business partner, Lee Hewitt, in overseeing the development and management of operations, finance, human resources, risk assessment, community relations, and new client outreach. Drew loves everything about small business, and he is challenged daily to succeed for the benefit of his colleagues, clients, and customers.
