Another great family vacation for the 16 of us. Have stayed here many years and love the location. Some updates would be nice - bathroom drains (slow) & faucets; and dryer. Took 4 cycles to get a load dry. Overall though, we love this house! Can't beat the backyard view!

We have family from Florida to PA and this location was the ideal spot for everyone to meet. The rental was located at an ideal spot that we had access to a lot of stores, beach options, food, etc. Since we have little children in our party it was great having a wonderful pool that we could enjoy while the little ones took their naps.

We keep returning to the same house and love the house and the location. The only complaint is the mattresses in the middle bedrooms upstairs need to be replaced, but other than that, this is the best rental to choose.

My family recently stayed at the Whalecome Inn and everyone had a great time! The house was very clean and well kept. The pool was awesome and the backyard area was very nice. It was just a short walk to the beach which made things very manageable for the beach lovers in our group. The only thing I would maybe suggest would be adding a half bathroom on the main floor for convenience. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend the house!

License to chill is a beautiful home and its location is absolutely perfect. The constant breeze off the marsh makes a relaxing experience without out some of the wind that you get off the ocean front. The house is beautiful inside and out and met all our needs. Some of the folks in our party don't like the beach and some of us love the beach so this house gave us all the luxury of being where we wanted to be... the pool is spectacular and I would highly recommend this house for anyone with a large group of people who just want to relax and have a good time.. I also recommend renting a golf cart to get to and from the beach.. it makes all the difference in the world!

Our family rented this place for a family vacation, it is a nice place to stay, walking distance to the beach, the house is very quiet, it has its own private pool. 4 bedrooms upstairs, and 2 downstairs, has a fullly equiped kitchen, and a washer and dryer, a great home away from home, great for any family getaway, the only draw back would be for people who can't climb steps, but great for everyone else.

The rental was fabulous. The house is very welcoming. Everything you need for a great vacation was there. It's a short walk to beach and when you just want to take a leisurely day and read a book sit next to the pool. It is very peaceful there. Can't wait to go back.

This is the second year we have stayed in a License to Chill. We were excited to see that a second King bed had been added. We would like to see a larger refrigerator in the unit. The location is great and there is ample parking for 6 vehicles. We would recommend this unit to others.

Went down for bike week. Plenty of parking, clean rooms, great location with a nice pool. Everything was nice until we came back to the house Friday night after being out for 12 hours, and we found that the air conditioner had stopped working sometime during the day. The second floor bedrooms were almost 80 degrees. It was too late to have any body come out to look at the ac unit by the time we got back in. Other than that, we enjoyed the property very much.

My father, brothers and sister, and their spouses stayed for a week at License to Chill (No children or Grandchildren:). The house was perfect. It was very clean, well stocked and the private pool was absolutely fabulous. I would highly recommend this house for its location and cleanliness and the views from the porches are beautiful!!

The house was great for our large family. Walking distance to beach, pier and some restaurants. Only downside was the grass was very high on Saturday but they came on Monday to cut it. They also check the pool 3 times during the week, which was great. Would go back for sure.

This is the house that our family, 15 & growing, return to each summer for our family vacation. We love the layout of the house with bedrooms to the front and living areas to the back overlooking the pool and the marsh. Perfect yard for having meals outside and playing games or just visiting with each other. We all love having the pool to cool off in after a day on the beach. The house had been recently remodeled with new furniture. This was our fifth year in this location because we love " License to Chill". It is close to the beach, has a private pool, lots of bedrooms, and now with the upgrades is even better.

While there were a few small issues with the house, overall it was a great place for our family. The view of the Marsh was exceptional and we loved the pool. We were a large group of 16 family members ranging in age from 2 - 62, so the refrigerator was a little small but we made do. We did have an issue with the air conditioning one evening, but we called the rental agent and they sent out a technician that evening and he took care of the problem even though it was 10 pm! The house was exactly as the pictures portrayed and was clean and very comfortable.

Overall our stay was wonderful, we have stayed here 3 years in a row! Only a few minor complaints, yard not maintained, iron board broken...I do feel that the house could be maintained a little better, but for the most part we feel like this is our second home:)

Love staying at Licence to Chill for family vacation! Bedrooms are located away from the kitchen/living area for early or late sleepers. Kitchen was well equipped (minus a blender). Pool was well maintained but could use some new poolside furniture as one of the only 2 chairs was broken. This has become our family's beach vacation home each summer as we all come together for the week!

This home is an excellent choice for a family vacation. Our kids loved playing in the pool. The short walk (5 minute stroll) to the beach was well worth the discount of not staying oceanfront. The inlet views are nice, especially at dawn and dusk.

This house was a great fit for our group. The only issue we had was a large amount of trash in the outside trash cans that appeared to have been left from the prior renters. The realty company was unable to assist with this and basically we just had to wait until the next trash pickup day which was the last day of our stay. the street the house is on is close to the beach and very quiet during the this time of year. The yard and pool were great. The house was basically clean,the floors were clean but the baseboards were dirty and there were dust bunnies in the bedrooms in some of the corners. We were told by a cleaning crew that that type of cleaning was only done in the spring. Everything else was very satisfactory and we enjoyed this house and will consider renting again next year. Another plus was the ease of dealing with Garden City Realty- they were very efficient and the rental process was very easy.

Went well as usual . We live this so much, it is our third year. One woman lost her diamond engagement ring. When the pool cleaner found it, he was honest and returned it. This is a great place to stay and I wish we could have stayed longer.

We loved this beach house! The yard, view, and pool was the best part of the place. And the walk to the beach was minimal, so that's always a bonus! Everything was very clean and the rental agency folks were helpful. There were only a few minor issues, which most of them were taken care of right away.

We found this house a couple years ago and it's a perfect place for our extended family of 14. Every couple (6) has their own space and the common space is ample and situated away from the bedrooms. The pool area is nice and we have most of our meals out by the pool each night. Nice yard for playing games in the evening. And the view of the marsh behind the house is spectacular! We feel like we're the only ones around. Plan to continue coming to this home for our Family Beach Vacation each year!

This house was just about perfect. We stayed a week and thoroughly enjoyed the pool. Our only two negative comments would be, we wish the pool had the option of being heated (it was pretty cold the first few days) and we wish there was a grill. (There was a little park-style grill thing, but you'd have to bring your own charcoal and it's outside, uncovered...we didn't want to use it.) Otherwise, our stay was great, and the proximity to the beach was great!

We stayed July 28th thru August 4th. We had 8 adults and 8 kids, there was plenty of room, we loved this house and really enjoyed the pool. Kitchen was well equipped, air conditioning was great, we never got hot. I wish I had the beds at my house, very comfortable. Loved watching the wild life over the marsh, and there was never any bad odors from it. I highly recommend this house. The only bad thing that happened was my husband became sick and spent 3 days in the hospital.

We rented License to Chill to spend a week with our kids and grandkids. We were luck enough to get another house because there were 23 of us. During the day everyone was in the house and it was great. Plenty of room and great pool. Our ages ranged from 2 to 79. We would rent this house again. There are two complaints....first there was no grill. It would have been nice to have a grill so we could do hamburgers and hot dogs. Also we never found the beaters for the mixer. We found two mixers but no beaters. Other than that it was perfect.

We had a wonderful time during our family's...3 generations...stay in May 2012. The house was clean and spacious. There was plenty of room for our family group. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were large and had plenty of counter and storage space. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked so it was easy to cook for our family. We loved the the balconies and the private pool and both had plenty of seating. We spent alot of time at outside swimming, relaxing, reading and enjoying conerstations. We enjoyed the unobstructed views of the marsh and the abundent wildlife were fun to watch. The beach was only a short walk away. We had a terrific time and made special family memories. A nice addition to the property would be rocking chairs and a charcoal grill...previous rentals had these...but that didn't diminish our enjoyment of this house.

We chilled! Nicely priced for all we got. Location, pool, view from balconies, cleanliness, better than most. Cooks were extremely pleased with kitchen and utinsels. Nice neighbors on both sides. AC worked well. I would recommend it for anyone for any
week except the one we want next year!!
