The location of the Rental was absolutely perfect. Susan and I enjoyed sitting in the room looking at the ocean and listening to the sounds of the waves. The rental property is also in a good location as it relates to restaurants and grocery stores. Everything was very convenient. The rental is also well equipped with appliances and cooking utensils. The Icemaker and coffee maker were especially nice. And the elevator in the building made it easy to access the condo. However, the Property is in dire need of repair. I noted several things that needed attention and reported to the property management. The hideaway bed was very uncomfortable to sit on and the Balcony Furniture is rusted out and needs to be replaced. I was afraid to sit in the chairs because of their poor condition. I would also suggest that the Rental be supplied with more washcloths. The Washing Machine and Dryer was convenient, and we were able to wash Towels and Washcloths, but it would been better if more washcloths were provided. I would recommend this property to a friend, providing the things that I reported to management were corrected.

Location cannot be beat. Have rented at this property numerous times. Some units are furnished much better than others. This one could use some updating and replacement of blinds on sliding door leading to balcony as well as replacement of balcony furniture which is rusted. Pull-out bed is best for only one person. Very uncomfortable.

Overall the unit was good, it was clean but the unit could use some upgrades. The carpet wasn’t in great condition, the patio furniture was rusted out at the bottom, one burner on stove did not work and it seemed that every door in the unit either stuck or wasn’t balanced. These were all minor and we had a good experience.

We really enjoyed our stay but everything in the unit such as cooking utensils and things in drawers were terrible. No sharp knife, scissors would not cut, everything in that drawer needs to be replaced!! We loved the condo and view but we never cooked there because of condition of cookware and utensils.

Other than a delay of getting into the room, we had a very enjoyable experience. We generally stay at Surfmaster and have always had a good experience. This was actually the first time that we did not get into the room early; it was nearly 5pm this year instead of 2-3 in previous years. However, the experience was still a good one.

Overall pleasant stay. Terrific view of beach and ocean. Only negatives were the arrangement of the furniture in living room rendering the best chair virtually useless, since it was too close to the TV. Also had to move a table from living rm. to bedroom to use as a night table. Ice maker could not keep up w/ demand even though there were only two of us.

Condo was in good condition. The balcony furniture should be updated, it was rusty. Bed was comfortable.
Not related to condo, but WAS an issue: MANY dogs on the beach. Most where on a leash, even so, they snapped and charged at each other. Too close to small children playing. I had a VERY close encounter with a large pit bull on an expandable leash that almost knocked me down, growling and showing his teeth, extremely aggressive.

Was a good stay . Like all of the condos we have stayed in a surf master very clean . We like staying on the lower levels . This was our 4 time staying in the surf master . This condo could be a little more updated the stove .. the toilet paper roller holder in the master bedroom was broke . But not really a big deal .. the weekend that we stayed .. was nice it was in the 70s I guess it is a hit or miss for the beginning of March .

We thought the unit was very nice. Considering the pandemic, we felt the unit was cleaned well. I did, however, do my own cleaning to make me feel better.
Our only complaint was the living room furniture was not comfortable. It needed an ottoman to prop feet up own. Also, should have had current instructions to deal with ALL the remotes for the tv.
We would stay at this unit again. Thought the keyless entry was fantastic!!

We have stayed at Surfmaster more than 30 times. The building has had it's ups and downs but is a perfect location. This year's new stucco and paint on the exterior was noticed. This unit was a good one. Furnishings were nice. We will likely rent this one again. The process was seamless during the reservation and rental. The only thing not up to usual standards was the wait to get into the room until nearly 6:00pm but that was likely due to the extra sanitizing due to the COVID virus. Hope to see you all again next year when we can again enjoy the local amenities fully.

I've been snow-birding in this unit for a few years. It's the perfect elevation to provide easy viewing of the ocean tides, and the sun and moon rising and setting. Although the living room upholstered furniture is starting to show its age, and I'd love to see a new stove in the kitchen, it is very clean and comfy/cozy; and Garden City Realty's staff is first class. I plan to return next winter.

Room was great but needed a few fixes bedroom door would not close screws pulled out of hinge , same with bathroom door ,one key would not work but after a while you learned the secret to get the other one to. The fridge Never got cold even after the repair man came. The facet in the bathroom drip the whole time. Took two hands to close the patio door . I know the ad for the room talks bout the remodel that was done but it needs some tlc again . Just to say this is our 3rd time staying in 309 and we have already booked for next year . Thanks Jeff

This condo was the nicest one we have rented, since we started coming to Myrtle Beach.

One issue was our fridge, stopped working during night, we lost most of our food. But it was repaired in a timely manner.

309 Surfmaster has a great view. The updates in 2015 were nice. There was exterior repair work going on other units around 309 due to the October Hurricane. Some of the parking garage was closed off, so the covered parking was very crowded if you could find a covered spot. The condo is adequate for two people, but 4 adults would have been pushing it. I am surprised that after the summer season the carpets were not cleaned. They were extremely soiled and in need of a good cleaning. I would suggest some additional lighting in the bedroom.

With this being our first time to the Murrells Inlet area, my husband and I were very pleased.
With being a beach lover, the condo was the perfect location for convenience to the beach. It had everything we needed for our stay with the exception of a few small items that I packed .... just in case. But you can always go get those items with the closeness of stores in the area.
Over all we enjoyed our trip....accept with the arrival of Hurricane Matthew that shortened it !!!
Not much you can do about that...but we will definitely consider traveling to the area again for future relaxing beach time.
The view is amazing !!! Watch for those sunrises !!!

We have stayed in multiple units over the last 7 years and this was our first stay in 309. The unit's remodeled kitchen and removal of some of the original framing allows for an unobstructed view of the ocean from anywhere in the main room. Third floor is perfect. You can take the stairs or elevator. The common areas of the buildings (pools, parking etc) are well-maintained and clean. Cannot think of any needed improvements.

Awful all experience was fine. Only complaint My wife and I have is very thin walls. We have stayed in several other locations in the years we have been going to MB and have never heard the people next door. Sounded like they started moving furniture at 11pm or they walk loud and when you can hear a cough then I would say the walls were too thin. Couldn't ask for a better view, very clean with many updates. Love the location as we love the Conch Cafe. Also, the hot tub is way too small.

We arrived after the onsite office had closed for the weekend. We found our unit to be unloced and waiting for us. Went in the following Monday and signed in. Everyone was so helpful and nice.
This unit was everything that the pictures showed it to be. It was super clean, very comfortable king size bed, inviting balcony overlooking the beautiful Atlantic ocean and the kitchen was well equipped.
I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Garden City/Murrell's Inlet area. My husband always makes a visit or two to Bubba's Fish Shack, near the Surfside Pier, and enjoys their clam chowder and grilled grouper sandwich.
I can't wait to come back again to Surf Master 309.

We spent March 2016 in Surfmaster 309. This was our first time in Myrtle Beach. It was a very nice stay. Unit 309 with a beautiful view was clean, well furnished, everything worked well. My wife especially liked the open kitchen/living room concept.

Accommodation where we need elevators is normally not our preference, but in Surfmaster, no problem at all. Two high speed elevators always operational. Never had to wait more than seconds.

The only minor inconvenience first couple of weeks was underground parking area construction project. But parking was possible on the parking area roof, and since we had a nice weather without rain, it was not a problem. Construction was completed, underground parking perfect.

Yes, we recommend 309 and Surfmaster. We will be there again next year.

There could be a little more silverware in the drawer--there were plenty of pots and pans.

Also, the lamps could have brighter bulbs as it was hard to read when it was dark.

I had a lovely stay for the month of February 2016 - so much so that I booked for next February, as well; and I hope to be able to book it for March also. The unit was very well-stocked, and although there were a couple of very minor problems, they were immediately addressed and rectified. I am hopeful that the front door, and king quilt and shams will be replaced by next year.

Cudos to the to the Rental team and sales team!!When i frist arrived the door was locked for my rental. I went down to the office and Mr Street was there from the sale side. He went out of his way to help by talking to the rental associates for me to obtain another key. Justine (name?) ment me at the condo gave me a key and let me in. I went to eat and the store pick up some things. Low and behold when I get back to the condo I lost my keys. had to call Justine again, felt really bad, and he came over with another key. I couldn,t thank him enought. the next day to gentlemem came to the door that and told me how sorry they were for not leaving the key and to my surprise gave me a $25 gift card for Outback. What a great way to market. Loved my stay

Though there is not a lifeguard, we do have property management staff on-site to help verify that those using the facilities are guests of Surf Master. Also, golf carts and trailers are not allowed on the premises at all. If they are parked here more than just a few minutes, they are towed. Our unit was very nice. It was very clean and nicely decorated. Everything we needed was right there. We were a little worried if the bed would be comfortable. It was very comfortable. The ONLY thing I would suggest would be to add oe recliner BECAUSE I needed to elevate my feet because of swelling and I had to prop them on a cooler. Most people wouldn't have that problem.

Ideal ocean front unit! The whole vacation could have been spent on the balcony - no need to leave the restful, ocean view! The unit is tastefully decorated and comfortable. No biggie, but I would suggest less saggy living room couch.

Loved our stay! Very clean, nicely furnished. The view was beautiful!! I really liked that linen was wrapped in plastic. A nice fresh coat of paint is probably needed but would not keep me from staying again. Nice location and staff very professional. Great experience!

We have stayed at Surfmaster at least 2 times before. We had always stayed in the North building, but didn't think just being in the other building would make that much difference. It wasn't totally a bad stay, but we will continue to book our units in the North building from no on. The unit was rather dated, marks on the hallway walls, probably from the luggage carts. Furniture was dated. The toilet in the master bath was running all the first 2 nights (before we turned the water off). We called maintainance and they replaced something in the tank. It helped immensely but still would allow the water to run occasionally. Hopefully they will be able to correct the problem before the next family stays there! But, we love the location of the Surfmaster so we will continue to book our vacation stays with them!

View from the condo was very good. Kitchen was clean. However, this unit needs to be painted. Carpet was stained in several places, needs replacing. There were several large dogs in the complex. Several children with their toys often played in the hot tub.

The location of the property was great and convenient to other places we went. Upon entering the condo we had to replace the main bathroom ceiling tiles that had been moved for a possible repair. Clothes dryer did not get very hot and had to dry clothes repeatedly. Called for a repair and was promptly responded to. Would be nice for future guests to have paper towels, dish soap, tissues, etc., available as a curtesy. Great view of ocean and quiet location.

We have stayed at the Surfmaster many times over the years, and have experienced everything from a Penthouse to a one bedroom, and I can honestly say that we have yet to encounter any problems from the Surfmaster or the realty company. Nice, comfortable condos with oceanfront views, 2 outdoor pools and whirlpool spas...this resort has it all. We will be back, and we feel good recommending the Surfmaster to anyone.
