We had a wonderful week on the beach. The house was comfortable and a good size for our large family.

Great weather great House with lots of room really clean and comfortable

We had a wonderful time right on the beach. There was plenty of room in a great location. Our family looks forward to returning next spring.

We rented this house on short notice for family gathering. We had 16 people from 88 years young to 2 month old baby. The house was perfect size for this group. The elevator was great and very much needed with some of the family members. The only issue we had was running out of hot water for showers. We learned quickly to spread them out and let hot water heater catch up. We would definitely stay here again!
- Laura M. from Lancaster, Posted: 01/25/2023
We stayed here with a group of 11 guys for a golf weekend. The house has plenty of beds and bathrooms to accommodate a large group. The location is very convenient.

The rental company was amazing to work with and the home has spectacular views and is very well decorated. I will definitely be booking this again for our Men’s Retreat.
- Tim W. from Maiden, Posted: 11/03/2022
Our family has vacationed in this home the last two years and we love it!!! The rooms are spacious and the beach access is incredible. We enjoyed many a night in the hot tub after a relaxing day at the beach. Since our family is large, having a bathroom in each room made our stay so relaxing. The elevator also was a huge plus for our elderly relatives. We will definitely stay here again for many years to come.
- Cynthia K. from Monroe, Posted: 10/08/2022
What a great time in this house! Great location, perfect beach access and pier! The house was beautiful! Plenty of room, clean. We loved the automatic ice maker on-site! No major complaints . Will be staying here again!

Nice house layout and location. House in need of many repairs.
- Jeff M. from Charlestown, Posted: 09/24/2022
We were overall happy with the Tsunami property. The location is great with beach access and proximity to stores/bars. I think some of the bedding could use upgrades. The kitchen is functional but could use a remodel.
- David T. from Broadview Heights, Posted: 04/04/2022
Huge beachhouse right on the water, everyone that stayed there had their own bedroom and bathroom and we could have slept more. House was in great shape, was quite presentable and has an elevator. Would highly recommend

This is the 3rd year we have rented this property for the Thanksgiving week. Our family is large, about 20 people, and being on the ocean is a treat. The house needs updating, mattresses, blinds, couches, chairs, etc are original from 2003 and have outlived their useful life. The mechanics are fine and the rental company will quickly fix any problems when you call.
- Carolyn W. from Fort Mill, Posted: 11/29/2021
This house was very spacious for my very large family. In total we had 12 adults and 7 children. There was plenty of seating everywhere (dining area, lounging areas, and outdoor areas). The view was breathtaking! In addition to the beach being so close, shopping was within walking distance. I can't say enough nice things about this property!
- Kathy T. from Elkhart, Posted: 10/04/2021
The only issue we had with the house is no lighting in the elevator. My mom is in a wheelchair, so the elevator was a necessity. I called Garden City reality to report the issue. The lady said the elevator company would be out the next day to fix the issue. They never came, and I never received a call back from the reality. The issue was never resolved during our stay, so we had to take mom on the evelvator in pitch black.
- Shay D. from Alto, Posted: 06/28/2021
Seascape is an older home and thus needs constant attention. When we arrived one smoke alarm was chirping. A call to the rental agency brought a repair person within hours. The house was clean.

We have been coming to Garden City Beach for the Thanksgiving week with all our family since 2006. As the grandchildren were born, we needed a larger house and have rented many houses in different areas. This year Seascape has filled our needs and made all of us very comfortable. For such a large house, it is quiet. My son came to the living area one morning thinking that he was the first one up since he heard no happy voice. Surprise you are the last one up! We are not a quiet family, but he could not hear us upstairs in the bedroom. The house itself is well maintained, plenty of technology, large enough kitchen for our cooks and baker. We had a few maintenance problems, but one phone call brought a solver within hours. The charcoal bbq is beautiful and with the picnic bench right there, we enjoyed grilled appetizers, fish, oysters and roasting marshmallows. With no pool nearby, we were more comfortable with the safety of the children. Being on the beach is fantastic! We dug holes, made castles, flew kites and played flashlight tag at night.
So pleased are we that we have reserved Seascape for next Thanksgiving already!

Location, location, location.
This house was easy to move into for the week. Plenty of room if space was needed. An ocean right out the back door.
Everything worked as it was supposed to.
The elevator was an extra benefit.
- Douglas V. from Peabody, Posted: 10/21/2019
House was great but doubles in four of the rooms are in need of replacement.Need new set of pots and pans
- Daniel R. from El Paso, Posted: 07/18/2019
We had a great time at this rental. The weather for the week was perfect.
The house is close to everything. We stayed here four years ago. The house is in need of a few minor repairs.
- Anonymous from Westminster, Posted: 05/27/2019
Four generations of our family, 21 in all, gathered in early February for a six-week-delayed Christmas weekend. The house was perfect for us.
It is beautifully and comfortably furnished. We had room to gather together when we wanted to, and to spread out into smaller groups with multiple sitting areas. There was even space for us all to sit down to eat at the same time, between two dining tables and two bars.
We much appreciated the elevator, as two of our party have some trouble with stairs. The elevator helps a lot when loading and unloading our vehicles, too!
It is ocean-front, with a beautiful view from all three floors; all three have ocean-facing porches. We enjoyed being near the pier, but just far enough from the main intersection not to worry about noise.
The place was very clean. The kitchen has two refrigerators, handy for a large group like ours.
We hope to come again.

This home is grand no complaints except floors 3amd 4 need a wet bar/sink and a Kuerig for morning coffee. Did not enjoy the stairs or elevator first thing in the am. Seems minor but for me not . GCR was so accommodating and will definitely rent again

We had our yearly big family vacation at Seascape. It was the perfect size and we loved that each family had their own bathroom. We loved being able to walk to the shops and pier without having to get in the car, and the kids (and grown-ups!)really loved the ice cream shop just a short walk away. The house was clean and had all the amenities. We had a wonderful time!

We had a wonderful stay at Seascape! Some small issues, but addressed immediately. Plan to return again next year. Highly recommend!

Another year leaving this property with great memories. The new walkway from the porch to the beach is such a wonderful addition as well as the new microwave and washer and dryer. Reserved again for next year on way out of town!
- Sally F. from Frankfort, Posted: 10/09/2017
Garden city is a great beach and Garden City Realty makes it a nice experience. We have stayed in Seascape for the last 8 years. They now added a walkway to the beach so that will be great.
- Debbie T. from Charlotte, Posted: 08/07/2017
Our family of 18 enjoyed the spacious quarters of Seascape, and appreciated the elevator, the rocking chairs on the main porch, the two washers and dryers. I was impressed by the speed and competence of the maintenance staff: a broken window shade was replaced immediately. We also appreciated the new boardwalk from the house to the beach, and would suggest installing a simple shower where people would more conveniently use it----at least a hose to wash sand off feet. Our only problem was that the latches on two of the rooms' porches snapped themselves, and twice locked a guest outside. Luickily, each was able to flag down help. A shelf for books would also be appreciated. Oh yes---there's a great charcoal grill.
The location is terrific, even though there were always neighbors who liked to set off loud fireworks every night. We'll hope to return next year.
- Joseph K. from Peabody, Posted: 08/07/2017
Great house for 18 adults and 3 little kids. Sheets weren't the right fit but property management fixed that. Dryer vent was clogged and took4 days to fix. Lightening took out the elevator so we had to move out without it. At least we moved in with it Working. Overall the house was really nice and met our needs.
- Anonymous from Mooresville, Posted: 06/19/2017
We enjoyed our stay from the moment we walked in. The pictures didnt do the property its justice. Cleaning company can do a little better however still very nice.
- Anonymous from Rocky Mountain, Posted: 01/14/2017
This year was our ninth year staying at this property (we rented this through two other realty companies before renting it through Garden City Realty). It is a GREAT house for the size of our family, and the location is fantastic. The only thing missing in this house is an ice maker. You will not find a better realty company or staff than at Garden City! Even with Hurricane Matthew deciding to visit us this year, we had a FABULOUS vacation. Looking forward to 2017.
- Anonymous from Frankfort, Posted: 11/21/2016
We had a fantastic week! Location on the beach and next to the Garden City Pier was ideal. Close enough to walk to pier entertainment and far enough from pier to have quiet evenings. We enjoyed the roomy beach house which accommodated everyone. Separate bathrooms were really appreciated! A few things needed attention: like non working laundry dryer and rusted out table on deck and needed a thorough cleaning (such as the fuzz on the fans and baseboards, stains on living room carpet) We were there end of August so likely many families had enjoyed this unit over the summer and I'm aware there is little time to clean between guests
- Anonymous from Murrells Inlet, Posted: 08/29/2016
Seascape is a really terrific house, beautifully located, spacious and comfortable, well equipped, with efficient a/c/ The rent is understandably expensive and maintenance can be slow, but we're grateful for this outstandingly fine stay.
- Joseph K. from Peabody, Posted: 08/22/2016
We've stayed at many rentals throughout the years. The Seascape was by far the best!

House is in a great location and is very spacious. The new grill was great!
The house does need some updating. The stove did not work properly, the dryer on the main level did not work and we also had issues with the dishwasher. We called 3 times to have trash cans delivered and received them after we were there for 3 days. With 24 people there is a lot of trash. We also called about the dryer, but no one ever came to repair it. The sliding glass door in the living room is hard to open and close. We had to keep it locked so there would not be any issues.
- Michelle L. from Alexandria, Posted: 08/15/2016
great
- Daniel R. from El Paso, Posted: 07/22/2016
Seascape is a wonderful house close to the pier with plenty of room for a large extended family to spread out and have their own was nice to have a lifeguard nearby for the littlest beachgoers. Great grill area and also has 2 refrigerators - 2 things that would have been helpful to know before arrival. Brought a baby pool for under the house for the littles - worked out great! Only complaint was the noisy trash trucks every morning at 4:30am and 6:00am waking up those in rooms on the streetside. Overall a great house, in a great location. Would rent again.
- Kiersten A. from Rock Hill, Posted: 07/05/2016
We absolutely loved this place. With 8 bedrooms, each with its own bath we comfortably had 20 family members stay at the house. It's location to the pier and downtown area was really convenient. The beach was literally in our back yard and we enjoyed it every day.
The house was in great shape and had everything we needed. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable.
- Anonymous from Louisville, Posted: 07/05/2016
There were eleven of us staying at Seascape the first week of September 2015. The first two full days were mostly rained on due to tropical storm Erika but that didn't dampen our spirits in this beautiful house and it's view of the ocean. Three of the couples were "inlaws" that had never met before and these rainy days gave them time to talk and bond. They are now fast friends with each other. There was plenty of room for us all to be together without being on top of each other and with everyone having their own bedroom/bath and all six decks/porches they could have private time too. Couldn't have been a better location for us. So close to pier, arcade and little shops. If the fisherman in our group wasn't on the pier fishing he was watching the pier from our deck. There's a quiet family atmosphere in the area not as crowded and central Myrtle Beach area and plenty of sandy beach. Would love to go back again.

Enjoyed our family reunion. Parking for as many as eight cars when visitors came. There is an extra full size sofa bed in the family area upstairs. Small maintenance issues were addressed promptly. Plenty of space for our big family and close to everything that is fun for adults and teens. Toddlers loved the beach and the little pool we set up in the ample space under the house.
- Jacqueline J. , Posted: 08/10/2015
The house was wonderful. We had a family reunion and it was large enough for the whole family. We all had plenty of room and everyone had their own bathroom. It was a wonderful time.
- Anonymous from Conway, Posted: 08/06/2015
Love the house. We have stayed here for the last 3 years. Already looking forward to next year! Great for big family we have 20 each year.
- Debbie T. from Charlotte, Posted: 08/03/2015
It would help if the pots and pans were upgreded.
- Roger W. from Buford, Posted: 07/13/2015
Seascape was the most amazing home to stay in that we have ever leased for our vacations at the beach. It was close to everything that kept the kids occupied and was loaded with all the extras for a great week of relaxation. The elevator was the original reason for our interest, due to my parents advanced age, they can not walk up and down the stairs. The elevator was a wonderful addition for everyone. Will be back to stay next year. Thank you!!!
- Dana M. from DARLINGTON, Posted: 07/06/2015
This was our 3rd time at Seascape which should say it all.We LOVE the place and only have 2 minor complaints, the same from all 3 visits: 1. The WI FI is very weak, difficult to stay connected, perhaps a new modem would solve this issue. 2. The sliding glass doors to the main porch is VERY difficult to operate, small children and elderly grandparents need assistance. However, we have pre booked for 2016 so these issues are more a nuisance than anything else.
- Bob E. from Dunwoody, Posted: 06/29/2015
Very good
- Anonymous from Westminster, Posted: 05/11/2015
Seven aging couples spent a week at the beach at this house. It was very nice, though only four of the rooms have kind sized beds, the other four are set up for children with two double beds per room. Not bad, just unexpected.
The location is GREAT, the house is GREAT, the event was memorable. I'd recommend it to anyone.
- Charles G. from Front Royal, Posted: 09/23/2014
Third time at Seascape and looking forward to many more. Glad to see owners painted and maintained excellence in decor. We filled all rooms , had two other rental spaces close by and Seascape was our "Base camp"! Perfectly suited for large family reunions and very fun. Called maintenance on Sunday for several minor issues and they were promptly there and fixed all. What's not to like!! We actually adapted well to the new "no tents' rule. See you same place, same time next year. Our group gets bigger because it just gets better!2 Thanks for making it happen, Garden City Realty.

- Anonymous from Hartsville, Posted: 06/24/2014
Stay was excellent. House was super. Only issues I had were that the ice maker never produced a cube, the vacuum cleaner was really poor -I like to keep things neat. I would recommend a vacuum cleaner in every beach house with a floor attachment to keep the sand under control-brooms and dustpans are really useless. Next door renovation woke all up every morning with hammers and music @ 7:30am w/speakers outside all day long.
- joe s. from Irmo, Posted: 06/16/2014
We were very pleased with Seascape. Great location, god views over beach to pier and everything you want from a holiday house. Lots of room and nicely furnished. Some bits a little bit tired but nothing to worry about. We would go again.
- Anonymous from Edinburgh, Posted: 05/18/2014
Great house, big bedrooms, baths. Living room area excellent, room for all 11 of us to sit and talk. Wish kitchen table were a little bigger and that the kitchen had more cooking utensils such as pots. Grill outdoors was in terrible shape and there was no enclosed outdoor shower which the guys missed. The deck was great and we had a great vacation all together.Garden City maintenance and housekeeping services were excellent....fast and friendly and very efficient!!!Would definitely rent this house again.
- Anonymous from Lower Gwynedd, Posted: 05/13/2014
If opportunity arises I would definitely stay here again. Plenty of room for all 21 people to be comfortable and have privacy when they wanted to.
- Melissa N. from Westfield, Posted: 04/29/2014
We were 8 golfers from the UK....we each had separate one was disappointed.
Great house ...all the necessary amenities.....spotlessly clean.
Would definitely use again.

The best vacation house ever!! Everyone had a great time. Weather was perfect and we watched the full moon shine on the ocean all week. Management was terrific as was the maintenance and house keeping staff. One of the AC units wasn't working when we arrived and within an hour all was fixed. Only disappointment was the neighbors to the left who were renovating all week including Sat and Sun. Music blared from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Luckily the music wasn't too offensive and we spent most of the time on the beach so we made the best of it. Seascape made an unforgettable vacation for the whole family. We will definitely keep this house in mind for our next family reunion.
- Patricia F. from Murrells Inlet, Posted: 08/26/2013
Great place! Have reserved for next year. Only one suggestion: large groups like to grill out and there are no grills on site! Most places we stayed over past 20 years provide NICE, in ground grills. Also , a picnic table near the grill would make seascape perfect!
- Bob E. from Dunwoody, Posted: 08/15/2013
Love Garden City, Love this house. Great for big family. Second year staying and already booked for next year. We had 22 in house. Kids love being so close to everything.
- Debbie T. from Charlotte, Posted: 07/30/2013
What a great house, great location, nice bedroom/bathroom arrangement. We loved our stay and may rebook for next year. Only complaint is the house needs drapes in the living room to control the sun and heat during the day and to keep the house cooler (can't see the TV very well during the day, of course you should be at the beach!)and the house needs some maintenance work on the walls. Loved the realty company and had a very enjoyable experience all around!

Need to update pots. Plenty of XLarge and Large pots and very small. But there is a need for medium sized pots. Also back sliding doors did not work. One was cracked open the entire week.
- Elizabeth D. from Irmo, Posted: 06/03/2013
Overall good
- James G. from Oconomowoc, Posted: 05/14/2013
Amazing house, perfect location. The only thing that would have made the stay better was if there was an ice machine. The one in the refrigerator did not work, and was surprised that a house this size didn't have a separate one. Instructions for the elevator would have been helpful as well. But overall, this is the perfect beach home.
- William F. from Lexington, Posted: 04/28/2013
The elevator was not working when we arrived which made getting 6 cars of luggage into the house very tough! We had 2 women in their mid 80's that had to have the elevator working properly, so we had a few days that we couldn't get out. Other than that, the house was okay. In need for some TLC.

We have been going to the beach as a family for over 50 years. First time we stayed in Garden City always stayed at Cherry Grove. Loved this house, loved the location. Kids loved the location. They could walk to pier or Sam's. House had lots of space for family time. A few of the mattress's need replaced everything else about the house was great. Can't wait till next year!

- Anonymous from Allen, Posted: 06/25/2012
We have been gathering as a large family at the beach for 15 years now and this is by far the best we've had in accommodations. The house is SO spacious and laid out very nicely. It is very close to the pier, which for us is not preferred, though others might like the convenience of being that close to stores, dining, and fun activities, but the location made for very noisy nights, esp. on the weekends. However, I don't think you could find a house this nice and this size for anywhere near the price at a more secluded spot, so we were willing to tolerate the noise and the beaches being more crowded than they are further away from the pier.
