Their was no hose pipe provided so you could clean off the beach equipment, so I bought one. Their was no ice maker or a way to make ice provided. THE top stair in the steps leading from the house to the dock was high could cause you to fall. These were minor problems that could be corrected.

We had stayed at the Mystic C in the past so we knew we liked the location and layout of the house. On the first day(Saturday) we noticed the ac was not functioning properly. On Sunday afternoon we called maintenance discussed problem. Mr. Justice came promptly to the house and assessed the situation and offered a portable ac until they could fix the problem. Within a short time an ac repair company was at the house and repairs were made. All this occurred Sunday afternoon without any hesitancy or complaint. Thumbs up to to Garden City Realty and Mr. Justice!!

We loved the location but the house needed several repairs. There was a pretty significant leak downstairs. We had to use several buckets to contain the water. The hinges and the door handle were loose on the outside door downstairs which made it difficult to open and close the door. The railing on the staircase in the back was loose and shaky. The dishwasher didn’t get the dishes clean. Maintenance came and worked on the dishwasher. It worked better after that but still not great. We were told that there was nothing that could be done about the leak without shutting the property down. We had a great vacation despite the issues. I would recommend the property after they shut it down and make the necessary repairs.

We absolutely love this house and its location. So convenient to pier, beach, arcade, etc. and right on the creek!

Great house with ground level living space
This is a newly listed rental, and doesn’t have many reviews yet so I’m gonna cover everything. We’ve been coming to Garden City since I was a kid, and now I spend the week here with my grown kids. We love it here. This house is in a great location. It’s walking distance to the pier and the local shops (and, of course, the beach). Kids can walk to the arcade and ice cream shop. It’s south of the pier and on the inlet, so you can fish or kayak. You’re close enough to the pier that you’ll hear the music at night, if you are outside. The house itself has plenty of room. The upstairs kitchen is fantastic. The lower kitchen could be used for meals, but is tight on space. We used it for drinks, snacks and sandwiches. From the pictures, I thought the lower level shower would be very small. But it is large and comfortable. Oh- and I like that you can access it without going through a bedroom. The beds were all comfortable. The only negative on the beds is that, though the trundle bed will raise, the mattresses don’t match so we couldn’t use it as one big bed. The upstairs dining area has a LOT of chairs, so we had no problems doing meals as a group, which was great. But the living rooms are shy on comfortable chairs. Most people ended up on hard, wooden chairs to watch movies or work puzzles. The washer and dryer work well. There are big TVs everywhere (though we don’t use those much- it’s nice if the weather is bad.) The internet was fast. The house is clean and in good repair. There was a door that fell off its track, but they already knew and had someone out to fix it before we even settled in. The dock has enough room for several people to fish. My daughter caught a flounder, but it was too small to keep. All things considered, it’s a great place and I would stay here again.
