We had a great vacation! The Metzler has everything imaginable in the kitchen as far as Appliances, utensils & dishes! House was very clean (but carpet throughout needs to be replaced (should put in wood floors) & furniture in living room could use a good cleaning. Had a problem with kitchen faucet & the owner came by & it was replaced the next day. Could use a few more chairs on upstairs deck and regular chairs under the deck by the pool!

It was again a wonderful week at this property. We had an issue with both ice makers not working. Things can go wrong no matter where you stay. Unlike other rental agencies, however, this one came out right away, ordered a part & fixed it by the end of our week. In the meantime, they offered to reimburse the cost of ice purchases. They are always responsive & accommodating. The Vayk Gear was also a great perk. We love staying here!

Sea Star Realty hit us with lots of surprises and limitations with our rental 2 hours before check in!! We had multiple families traveling at that moment. What a wonderful week we all had! The house fit us all (11) comfortably and memories were made! Kids couldn't decide between the beach, the pool and the hot tub, so lots of back and forth all day. Love that when you're cooking, your view is the ocean. Doesn't get better than that. The new Master Bath....big hit!! Papa could finally stand up in the shower! Great house with lots of room and the kitchen is the best stocked I have ever seen. As someone else mentioned the rock area of the pool was terrible if you didn't have shoes on and it would have been great to have a pool level bathroom. The pool and hot tub were great and a beautiful view. But over all a great house...just be aware there are a lot of stairs so great for younger families/couples. One downside for us was we couldn't find any food delivery for the area...not sure if it would be different in prime season or not.

Only downside to the entire pro tower was half of the space within the pool area was stone/rocks that were not easy to walk on without shoes. Otherwise, no complaints!

We rented a house on the beach through Garden City Realty to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Garden City Realty kept us informed in regards to the virus situation and we were pleased to be able to continue with our plans. The house was perfect for us! Our children and grandchildren enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to go back next year! I also would like to mention that the floor in front of the kitchen sink was very wet and we discovered a leak under the sink. A call was made and a repair person came to the house promptly. I highly recommend using this company for your beach house rental.

I rented this house for a mother daughter trip to help my daughter get through a break up, we invited our yoga instructor and her aunt and cousins. ALL GIRLS. This house had EVERYTHING. I have never stayed in a better place. I have been renting in Garden city for 20 years. This place is LOADED. The Kitchen stuff, Outside grill Charcoal was even provided. I was respectful and made sure I replaced what we used. It made it really easy so I was not running the first day at the store. I could go at my leisure.

The Metzler is a gorgeous home,equipped with any amenity you can imagine! It's apparent that the owners really care about their home. We had 10 adults and 4 kids and had plenty of space to be completely comfortable! The pool and hot tub area are incredible minus the grill, we rented one. We had a very smooth rental process as well as a "no complaints" stay. Garden City Realty does a great job managing.

Eleven family members enjoyed a beautiful Easter week at the Metzler's. It is located perfectly, in that you can walk to the pier but you're far enough away to not have noise or traffic. The pool and hot tub are great features and were enjoyed by every age. This was our third stay there and we are amazed at how well stocked the kitchen is. For the first time ever we did go out to buy a lemon squeezer and extra closet hangers. It was really nice (and unusual) to have herbs and spices there although we brought many of our own. Aside from the size, age and condition of the Master shower, this is a total thumbs-up vacation home.

We’ve rented this house twice now and hope to have it next summer. It has everything - and more - that one could want! We had a problem opening one of the sliding doors - reported it and it was fixed immediately. Check in and out was very easy - wish we could get the house a bit earlier as we come from Colorado and have to hang in town till its ready. But overall - an excellent experience

This was our first stay in Metzler's Beach House and we found it in perfect condition. It was equipped with every kitchen appliance, tool, and need I would imagine. The beds were comfortable & the bedrooms well arranged . We really enjoyed the pool with its shade from the sun. That made it much more useable for our little ones. We absolutely loved the location and the house's proximity to the beach. The amenities in the house were a lot of fun (ice-cream and margaritas!) The house's size was perfect; however, the couches on the second level were not the most comfortable. The last three days also were slightly marred because of construction on the pier. All in all, we already miss this wonderful home.

The weather was a challenge the whole week. But we managed to have a wonderful time despite the rain and wind. A turtle laid eggs right in front of the house! What a wonderful experience for the grandkids to watch the volunteers come and move the nest. A once in a lifetime experience. Metzler House is perfect if you have small children because the pool is in the shade in the afternoon, so some natural sun relief even though they still want to be playing in the pool. it was a very nice rental. OUr only problem was the little red ants on the last 2 night that took over the back yard and they bite. They were all over and got into the jacuzzi so we could not even use it. Other than that the kitchen was well stocked and the place was beautiful.

It is a challenge while staying here to think of a single thing that is not included on site for your enjoyment and day to day living. The fact that each bedroom has a dedicated bathroom makes it easy for guests to have privacy and some alone time if needed. The pool, hot tub and lounge chairs were a welcome rest area when time on the beach was too windy.

We over packed so much because without knowing it. This house is so well stocked with pots pans plenty of dishes cups cooking utensils, soaps spices, pool toys beach toys it had it all! All the little things that you could need. It was very spacious and so relaxing! One step was broken on the walk way was the only bad thing. And the walk way didn't go all the way to the beach and the sand was SO HOT that we ended up using the public access to get to the beach but it was only a few steps further. Overall my family highly enjoyed this house!

It was our families 3rd time at Metzler House. Everyone enjoyed it, from 80 year old Nana to 9 month old Baby Caleb. The pool being partially shaded in the afternoon is perfect for little kids who need a break from the sun. Although it's still pretty dated, it was very clean and met all our needs. Garden City Realty was very helpful this year in getting us in the house as soon as it was ready. Love the sunrises and watching the dolphins from the porch every morning. We'll be back!!

We have vacationed at various GC Realty properties over the year. The Metzler is the nicest so far (and we've stayed in lots of very nice places!) The amenities were endless - lots of convenience appliances; ample cookware and kitchen supplies; etc. The beverage refrigerator on the bottom floor, and an ice maker are excellent, and very practical, ideas! Our daughter picked Myrtle Beach for her Senior trip...our entire family came and it was wonderful! Perfect spot for what we were doing!

The beach house was perfect for our family of 10. Each bedroom had there own bathroom which was a plus. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need. We loved the pool which was partially shaded by the deck which gave us a break from the sun. We set up a tent area on the beach right next to the walkway. We had 6 other families in town and had plenty of room to hang out all together on the beach and in the ocean. We went to eat at Sara J's on Monday and had to wait 1 1/2 hours and was told 45 minutes. They did not take reservations. Probably would not go back. Went to Dave's Dockside on Wednesday and they take reservations. We were 15 minutes late because of traffic and when we called they said no problem. We were seated right away and loved the food. Definitely would go back there. Recommended to other families who went there after us and loved it also. Went to Wicked Tuna on Friday and had to split our party but we were next to each other so it was okay, All in all we had a great week and loved the house.

This was the first time we splurged and rented an oceanfront property. This house is so wonderful we splurged again and rented for 2 weeks next year!

Vacationed with family - including three 2 year-olds and a five year old. Great house - nice amenities. Loved the pool. We observed big cockroaches on the porch every night and saw a few inside the house too. The property manager sent the pest people out but they came right during dinner one night and wanted to spray inside (with three two-year olds - no way!!!). Property manager said it had been very wet a few weeks before and that the bugs were an issue everywhere.
