Inlet Escape is a six-bedroom, four-bath home, with a bonus room, located west of 17 in Murrells Inlet. This property is a short 1.9 mile drive to the MarshWalk, and 2.4 miles away from the Wacca Wache Marina. Inlet Escape features a fully-equipped main kitchen complete with microwave, dishwasher, and stand alone ice maker. Other indoor amenities include 10 TVs (Roku), Wi-Fi, a working fireplace, laundry room, chef's kitchen, and a second living area upstairs with a bar, pool table and a kitchenette that includes a microwave, refrigerator, and stove. Sleeping accommodations include three king (one on second floor) and three queen-sized beds, plus a twin-over-double bunk bed (second floor) and two queen-sized sofa beds (second floor). Outdoor amenities include a furnished screened-in porch, covered porch, fire pit, fenced-in backyard, and charcoal grill. A South Carolina State Park pass is included with reservation. No internal stairway. Upstairs living area is accessed through garage. Dog friendly. Limit two dogs - 70-pound maximum weight limit if bringing one dog, 50-pound maximum weight limit per dog if bringing two. Please see the office for pet policy. Permits motorcycles. Permits trailers. Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Café, and Original Sam's Corner.

Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.

Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo.

If you're looking for places to shop, The Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach.

Take a day trip to Charleston to experience shopping, a harbor cruise, a city carriage tour, or a plantation tour. Charleston is only 87 miles from Garden City Beach - approximately two hours. It's a picturesque and exquisitely preserved southern city with antebellum architecture, cobblestone streets, and historical landmarks.
