We enjoyed our stay very much. The beautiful house was very spacious for our two families to have plenty of room. Well maintained and clean. I was disappointment by how very small and deep the pool was, it looks a lot bigger in the photos.

The house is great! Plenty of room and seating for our family of 10. Clean, comfortable beds, nice decks,roomy kitchen, great location... The very best house for our dogs. The elevator was wonderful for loading/unloading and for our aging pup.

The pool was the downside of this rental. It was so cold it was unusable - at the 1st of September. The grass surrounding was sparse making it a muddy mess after the rain. Disappointed not to be able to use this amenity.

Cleaner showed up before 9 for 10am check out and sat in the driveway. Made me uncomfortable and felt I was being rushed.

Overall the house was great and clean. The location was perfect with a short walk to the beach and short golf cart ride to various restaurants. Few complaints, internet is slow like others have said in reviews, the dryer does not work well, and the pool area could really use some updating landscape wise. The pool does give very dirty but they come and clean it a few times during the week. Would likely stay here again despite the few negatives!

Perfect family rental. Elevator and dog friendly!!!! The only downside is that the tree prevents you from using the pool as much as you would like. A daily cleaning routine or robotic cleaner on site would enhance the renter experience tremendously!!

The house was perfect, this is the 2nd time staying there. It was very clean, beds were comfortable and the location was great. The elevator was a big plus. Garden City Realty was great to work with, if we come back to Myrtle we would definitely stay here again and I would recommend this house to anyone visiting Myrtle.

Great location to beach and shops. We rented a golf cart and didn’t need to use our vehicle the whole week. Couple issues with the house which all appear in other reviews. Internet is slow and doesn’t work at all sometimes. Various chairs or small things broken, frying pans completely unusable, and the dryer didn’t vent so was unusable for most of the week. Maintenance was responsive and came quickly, and despite the trees dropping debris in the pool they cleaned twice during the week so that was also well maintained. Essentially it’s clearly an income property so expect that and it’s great value and size for the location.

We had a great vacation. Buried Treasure is a treasure. Clean and spacious. We cooked several nights and had everything needed in the kitchen. The pool was great and Garden City maintenance came to vacumn pool twice when we requested...That was so nice!! Location was great and there was plenty of parking. The only improvement needed was some new bed pillows. We would surely rent Buried Treasure again in the future.

This house was great. Satisfied all of our needs. We already have reservations for next May. Usually stay on ocean front, but this house location was a very quick walk or golf cart ride to the beach. Only had two issues, dryer didn't dry as it should have, maybe heating element? Balcony out from spacious living room had a banister loose which could be bad for children.

We stayed at Buried Treasure for the second year (have reserved for 2023 already). We love the location of the property and since it was refurbished in 2022, we knew it’s use would only grow in popularity. The property truly has all the amenities we need and is pet friendly, which is a plus. We have been coming to the Grand Strand for well over 30 years and have found a rental that meets our needs. While it is expensive, it is worth the cost. Because of its’ frequent use and now that we have stayed there a couple years, i gave some suggestions to make it even better for guests. Suggestions are below:

Unit needs new pillows and they should be replaced mid-summer (especially with Covid). We brought our own thankfully as the ones provided were quite stained from use.

Each bedroom needs an extra blanket (not a scratchy industrial, but thermal or plush). Also wondering how often bedcovers are washed. We came in at the end of the summer and we’re just curious.

More serving/mixing bowls in kitchen. There really wasn’t anything to serve a salad or side dish. The teaspoons were mysteriously missing as well as there were fewer than the year before.

Really, that is all we would suggest. We enjoy the house and will see you all in 2023 Lord willing. ��

Home was in great location close to beach. Back porch was great and always had a breeze. Pool and pool deck always had some shade. Nice fenced area for our dog. Good sized driveway for cars and under house area great for corn hole on rainy days. Would recommend this house. Only downside was that beach did not allow our shibumi shade.

Buried Treasure worked out very well for our family vacation in June 2022. There were ten adults, two children and two small dogs. Plenty of room for everyone, overall, the rental was very good. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the elevator was a definite plus, with a short walk to the beach access. Garden City Rental were excellent to work with and addressed every small issue very quickly and to our satisfaction. Honestly, probably one of the best rental companies I have dealt with in a long time. I have rented from everyone up and down Garden City/Surfside area. The only negative thing I have to say was the house could have been cleaner upon arrival. The bathrooms were clean and it looked like the floors had been vacuumed or swept but they were pretty dirty. I actually went out and bought Swiffer wet pads and went over the whole downstairs, using multiple pads to get it clean. Just dirty and sticky in areas. The carpeted steps were also full of sand, not sure if they had even been vacuumed. I am sure the housekeeping crews do the best they can but maybe spend a little more time addressing the floors. Also, the kitchen could use some updates in terms of utensils and cooking supplies. We grilled steaks one night and didn't even have steak knifes, which was a first for a beach rental for me. We barely had enough silverware for our family at meal times. Even with the few negative issues, I will not hesitate to rent this property again. Wonderful week for us all.

Overall the entire family enjoyed the house. It was perfect for us as we celebrated milestone birthdays that weekend. The only downside was 2 bathrooms upstairs (hallway and bedroom with 2 double beds) had only lukewarm water for the shower. The other showers were good. Still it was a great house that was clean and excellent for our family.

We stayed here 10/28-11/6/21. There were 6 of us + 1 dog. The home was very nice. I really liked the side yard for the dog. Quiet area and only steps from the ocean. Decor was very beachy. Beds were comfortable. Glad we had an elevator. Unfortunately we could not use the pool but that was just a slight inconvenience since the weather was a little chilly. 9 of 10 stars.

This was our 3rd year staying at Buried Treasure. The upgrades around the pool area were very welcome. We were glad to see the tree was removed and additional fencing was put in place. It was nice to be able to put our dog out in the side yard to play. The house was clean and spacious for all 11 of us. We will most definitely be back next year!

Beautiful home away from home with comfortable beds, nicely decorated, nice furniture and plenty of space for relaxation !! Loved the fencing around the corner lot for the fur babies. Good sized pool and surrounding area. Barely a two minute walk straight to the beach access. Also has keyless entry so an added perk for those of us who misplace them frequently. We will definitely be renting this one again !! Be sure to try the fresh seafood at the Conch Cafe, with oceanfront patio, a three minute golf cart ride from Buried Treasure !!!

We could not have asked for a better week. Beautiful home with plenty of room for the 8 of us. Close walk to the beach, Marshwalk and shopping. Pool was too cold to enjoy and was dirty when we arrived but should be great for summer renters and was cleaned the next day. In fairness there is a tree overhang and it is spring. Elevator made loading and unloading a breeze. Beds were cozy and accommodations were clean and contemporary.

This is the second year that we have stayed in Buried Treasure. We were please to see that there had been a recent remodel of all of the bathrooms and kitchen. The main reason we rented this house again was because it had an elevator and it was dog friendly. The location is perfect too. A short walk to the beach and a short drive to all of our favorite places to eat. I did notice that the house has changed ownership since last year. We had hoped that there had been some improvements made in the pool area landscaping but that was not the case. The tree limbs hanging over the pool shade it and keep the sun from warming the water. It's also impossible to keep clean. Pool cleaners came at least twice while we were there but the pool would be full of leaves and debris soon after they left. All in all, it's a great rental house and we will most surely stay here again next year. Thanks!

Buried Treasure is a lovely beach home. Backyard, however, needs work. Very messy and dirty with the large tree draped over the pool. Blocks late afternoon sun. Desperately needs landscaping in back.

We enjoyed our stay at Buried Treasure. Great location with an easy walk to the beach plus it's "dog friendly" which is what attracted me to the house to begin with. You can tell the furnishings have been updated which was nice especially all the outdoor furniture on the porches and at the pool. There were a few things most would consider minor inconveniences. We found the water pressure to be lacking in all but one of the upstairs bathrooms when showering. We remedied that by using the hall bath when we washed our hair. The pool area has a gigantic tree that drops debris (leaves, small limbs) in the pool. The tree is nice for shade but is in dire need of limbs being cut back and/or thinned out. If you rent a golf cart, which we did since we didn't know the actual distance to the beach, there are no any electrical outlets in the parking area to charge the cart. However, we were able to use the extension cord provided by the golf cart rental co. to plug it in on the first floor porch. Just a heads up if you panic like we did at first! Want to give a shout out to Garden City Realty. They are always so pleasant to work with! It's why we use them any time we are staying in that area.

the house was as it was expected to be. upstairs king bedroom the only thing was the bed was hard as a rock. other then that the house was great. slightly dirtying for the floors. loved the porches, you could sit on and watch out over the fire works that was set up. carport under house was enough room to park cars and golf cart rental. the tree over the pool should be trimmed more, you couldn't enjoy sun very long except first thing in morning. House had all you needed to have home away from home. great location to all things you wanted to do.

House was roomy and a great location with a short walk to the beach. Easy access to grocery stores, restaurants and other attractions. Garden City Realty was great to deal with. We had a couple of issues with the elevator but Tim from maintenance arrived promptly to fix the problem. The pool was nice and refreshing after a day on the beach. I enjoyed the fact that it was somewhat shaded. The house and windows could use a good cleaning and a good landscaping would help curb appeal. The backyard especially could use some landscaping. Overall the house met all of our needs and we had a great vacation.

Buried Treasure has all the amenities and comforts of home and then some! Elevator makes unloading and packing back up so easy. Great for us seniors during week too. Private baths for everyone is wonderful. Short walk to the beach. Very clean. only complaints----furniture showing some wear and lack of bathroom rugs in all baths---Very minor! All in all a great place to spend a week. Pool a great addition to a fun stay

The house was great, bigger than we expected and in a great location. The house however was very dirty, a drawer in the kitchen was broken as was the light, the grass in the yard by the pool was very long. The general maintenance for the property wasn't good which we could overlook but it was quite dirty. I had to buy a new shower curtain for the downstairs shower because it was so moldy.

The house was as explained on the website. The elevator came in handy when we were coming in and leaving out at the end of our stay. Would love to rent again next year. Prefer more sun on the pool. Being in the shaded back yard it was very cold for our weeks stay. Overall loved every minute!!

We were on our annual family vacation with 5 adults and 4 children. The rooms were comfortable and clean. There were a couple hiccups (wrong sized linens for the beds) on check-in but the office handled it promptly. The pool was fantastic and kept the kids occupied when they weren't at the beach. The walk to the beach was short & the access was right across the street. The top deck was wonderful, an escape from the chaos of the 4 kids. The kitchen had the necessary basics. A couple of recommendations would be more furniture for the decks, there was no furniture on the back deck, and the king sized bed upstairs is very, very firm, maybe something to top the mattress to soften it up. The elevator was a nice feature, especially since it went all the way to the third floor. It was a life saver in moving in and out. Overall, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed staying here immensely. It is a beautiful, comfortable home and we would recommend it to anyone.

Overall, our stay at The Buried Treasure was a good one! The location was a bit far to lug all our gear to the beach but we rented a golf cart from AJax which made everything easier! The property was clean, a few minor issues, silverware drawer fell every time we shut it, the dryer was slow to dry, and the bed was ROCK hard! ( upstairs king) The pool was nice and the elevator made things so much easier unloading and loading a weeks worth of stuff! We were a little disappointed when we couldn't get into our house until after 4:30 and had a car full of perishable food! We come to Garden City every year along with a bunch of family from Pittsburgh, we will be back again next year :)

We had a wonderful stay at Buried Treasure. The home was as advertised. When we first arrived, one of the smoke detectors was beeping. I called to report it, and it was not long before someone came to replace the batteries. I was very impressed with the quick response time. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Generally a very good experience. Office personnel were very nice and helpful during reservation process and when reporting issues. Quick and easy check-in and check-out. Home was well equipped with furniture. Kitchen was the best equipped kitchen of any home that we have rented in the Myrtle Beach area. Very minor issues: 1) Floor could have been cleaned better - dust and sand under the furniture. 2)Problem with ants but that could happen anywhere in the summer. 3) Slow water leak under kitchen sink, silverware drawer was broken and 1 rocking chair on deck was broken. Would rent this home again (hoping that issues have been addressed).

We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of space Buried Treasure provided our family. The pool area is well shaded in the hot afternoons (ideal after a day spent on the sunny beach). The house was clean and amply provisioned, and the elevator provided a welcome convenience for our elderly visitors. I highly recommend this place.

We vacation each summer, usually in North Myrtle/Cherry Grove area. This year vacation we decided to give Garden City a try, having never been. This home sounded perfect for our needs. The location was perfect for us as we have young grandchildren, so being close to the beach was critical. This houses location made offered very easy access to the beach. Having a private pool was a big plus, and saved the trip; as the jellyfish were bad this week and three of our group got stung. The house was just as described and having the luxury of many bathrooms; all but one bedroom has its own bathroom, was great. The layout is perfect for gatherings as it has an open floor plan for kitchen, dining room and living room. The elevator was great for bringing heaving items up into the house. We enjoyed this home very much with only a few areas where improvement could be made to have made the stay better. The debris piled up under the carport was excessive. Between the trashcans overflowing and other items; ants, fly’s and the smell was overwhelming. The house seemed clean but as we discovered it was not so, dishes were all dirty and stored haphazardly. We discovered that the cleanliness of the dishes was a result of the dishwasher not working properly; so needless to say we had to hand washes all dishes prior to use and subsequently after each use. The house itself really needs a good cleaning. We found food under the sofa, dust caked on many surfaces and the bathrooms needed greater care in cleaning. I realize that at this time of year the season is coming to an end, but the last renter deserves just as clean a rental as the first. The management company was swift to remove the trash left by the previous guests after we informed them of its presence and attentive to any other of our needs throughout the week. The Area itself seemed depressed and rundown and we found ourselves having to take the short drive into Myrtle Beach for shopping and meals out.

Overall the house was fine. I found the kitchen siupplies to be lacking, three coffee pots, but no bowls for mixing. It was a short walk to the beach, so that was great. MBR TV was small, Mold on shower curtain, one of the blinds in the dining area did not work, not enough chairs on the porches. I was dispoointed that the bedding weas changed after we made our reservations. The check in and check out process was easy and quick.

Reservation process very easy; beautiful home. The home was clean when we arrived. All rooms were very large and we loved the elevator for our elderly guests. I believe the carpet was new as I did not detect pet urine. The only things that could be improved: 1) Dishwasher did not clean dishes on top rack; left debris on cups 2) Needed an electric outlet where cars park to charge golf cart. Other than these few minor things, the rental was perfect for our family and we will consider renting this unit again.

It was a great experience, however there were some issues with the cleanliness of the pool. From my understanding it was an issue with the pump, but it was two days before this was relayed to us. It would have been a perfect stay had the pool been in swimming conditions over the weekend when it was nice weather.
