This is our 5th year staying at this property We had great weather for being in middle of October New updates are wonderful however, I highly recommend getting new carpet or flooring for bedrooms due to the musty feel and smell they have

We really liked the convenience being on the first floor and having a locked balcony. Modern decor, fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds. Only recommendation is have larger beds in second bedroom. Beds seems to be bunk bed size, smaller than standard twins,so not adequate for adults' comfort in your group, could use full or standard twins instead.

2024 was our third year in a row staying at this condo!!

Each year the owner's have remodeled a different area which has helped bring the condo more up-to-date.

Our main complaint is in reference to parking. When staying for a week there are times when another car is needed and allowed to be parked in the condo building's lot, not a mile away. Please, Garden City Realty, take this into condsideration.

The inside of the condo was clean & orderly, as always. One suggestion we have is to consider updating the sleeper-sofa. It is getting rather uncomfortable from regular wear & tear. The side bars are also becoming more prominent under the armrests on both sides. While no one in our party uses it for sleep, if it sits uncomfortably, then it sleeps just as bad. I also suggested this in the owner's guest book.

Once again, we have reservered the condo for 2025!!

I received a text telling me the property was ready by 11 am. Code numbers had already been given. When arrived all was clean and ready. Clean sheets on beds. Packages of clean towels and washrags. Beautiful peaceful place. When left called number to say leaving. All easy.

Nice, quiet location steps from ocean. We have returned here for years, but this year found another reason. The television in the living room was not working and the owner sent maintenance to buy a new one, which he quickly did. The measure for us is what happens when something goes amiss, and the owner of this condo passes with flying colors.

This was our fourth stay in this unit. We love the roominess and having the beach a few steps away. Great selection of cookware. Beds are comfortable. New flooring in kitchen and living room. New lock on the balcony for keyless entry from either entrance.

We had a great time and its a wonderful condo. We have been coming to the area for several years now and this is the best condo we found so far. We like the fact the whole condo does not have many units so there are less people and easier to park. Garden City Realty customer service is excellent.

The condo is my favorite @ Garden City beach. Love the deck!!!!! Building is in need of repairs though. Some repairs started, but found rusty nails & staples in sand.

This our our 3rd year taking our older parents to the beach in the fall. We love staying at SeaWatch VIII Very simple and what we need. Huge porch on ocean front!!

We stayed at this wonderful condo 1 1/2 weeks ago. We have already booked it for 2 weeks next year. The condo was very clean. Garden City Realty was absolutely wonderful to work with. The building only has 9 units, so not a lot of people. The master bed was very comfortable(I am very picky). The balcony is huge and it has direct access off the balcony to the beach. No going around the building to get your toes in the sand. The kitchen is well stocked. They recently did some updates and they did a good job. If I have anything negative to say is that the corner turn style cabinet smelled very musty and I wouldn’t put anything in it (again, I’m picky) I do wish they turned the broom closet into an actual pantry with shelves. It would have given us a little more space to store things. I’m the second bathroom cabinet could use a little updating as well. It’s located not too far from the pier and we were able to walk to it with no problem. We can’t wait to go back next year.

We loved the condo and enjoyed it so much that we are returning next summer!! The condo was clean, well furnished and just the right size for four people. Please don't ever get rid of the twin beds in the 2nd bedroom, they are a great feature for those sharing the room. The kitchen was well-equipped with plates, bowls, cookware, etc., but please consider updating the pots and pans as they are getting quite worn. Thank you to the owner(s) for renting this condo, it was a wonderful vacation!!

Oceanfront Delight
Biggest balcony directly on ocean that I’ve ever seen. Direct beach access from balcony. Washer/dryer and we’ll appointed kitchen. Just perfection.

We love coming to Garden City, SC. We always stay at seawatch 8. We love the area and the fact thatvit is on the beach and not that far from a walmart or krogers.

the location and the view, along with the beach access was absolutely the best!! The interior of the condo was quite dated and a bit worn. A second TV would be a great idea. A working toaster would be nice. Loved staying here, it was like we had our own beach house.

Tremendous Balcony
We had the pleasure of staying at this condo, and the oceanfront balcony is amazing. It has to be 400 square feet. Direct access from balcony, a few steps through your private doorway, Toes in the sand! You can leave all your sandy flip flops and beach chairs right there for easy access. Loved that it had a washer/dryer very convenient. We will be booking for next year!

Gorgeous views
Amazing huge deck overlooking the Ocean with views of the Garden City Pier. Quiet area of beach, nestled between private homes. Your own private stairway access direct from beach to your deck. Real beach living.

This condo was clean, well-appointed and convenient to everything. The ocean-view deck was great and we loved the private beach access. If I could anything, it would be to have a brighter light over the dining room table and to have some taller chairs on the deck so that you could see over the railing.

Condo is roomy. The deck is large with comfortable furniture. Beach location is great. We liked being able to walk from deck down onto the beach. However, we found the kitchen needs some updating. The cable TV system was terrible. There was no on-line program guide. Info button on remote was useless. So there was no way to determine what program you were watching or could watch. Entrance door and door off deck could use a good scrubbing or painting.

I was desperate to get to the beach and out of quarantine for awhile. My friend put me in touch with Mary Black at Garden City Realty. She immediately worked with me and my budget and I stayed in a perfect spot ocean front condo. Could not have been better. I will use them next time I’m heading to S.C. - they were great. Especially Mary and Chris- the maintenance man. Thank you

This was our first time vacationing in Garden City and we will be back and plan to rent this same condo again. We love this area and especially enjoyed Murrells Inlet. The condo met all are expectations. It was well-equipped and comfortable. The large deck with nice furniture provided a fantastic view. We had a very relaxing week. There were a few glitches, but were not too big to correct. The rental was clean and in a great location. Immediate access to the beach and our patio faced the ocean. Just wonderful in my books. I was perfectly happy to stay in the room if I wanted to.

The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed for an enjoyable and relaxing experience. The location and view were outstanding.We loved being within short walking distance of the pier and downtown stores. The only negatives were having a hard time finding the house in the dark and only being allowed one parking spot for two families.

This was our first trip to Garden City Beach and it won’t be our last! This condo was lovely - what a view from the deck! It was very clean and the beds were very comfy. Nicely furnished. Loved visiting new restaurants - Pacinos was great! Also lots of good music and seafood at Drunken Jacks in Murrells Inlet. Wonderful week at the beach!
