Winter Wonderland at The Beach is back and bigger, brighter, and beachier than ever! This year, the event will start on Black Friday and run through January 4, 2025. Winter Wonderland Lights will be displayed nightly from 5 to 9 p.m. so you and your family can soak in the holiday cheer while hearing the sounds of crashing waves and jingle bells.

The annual tree lighting ceremony and community celebration will occur on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Plyler Park, near the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and SkyWheel. Festivities include performances by the Carolina Master Chorale, Long Bay Symphony Brass Quintet, First Presbyterian Worship Band, Handbell Ensemble, and Iglesia Refugio Choir, as well as special appearances from emcee Diane DeVaughn Stokes, Mayor Brenda Bethune, Poet Laureate Bo Bryan, Miss Winter Wonderland Brooke Vu, and, of course, Santa Claus. Carolers from Second Stage Theater will be along the Boardwalk.

Attendees can enjoy free parking at the Pavilion Parking Garage starting at 4:00 p.m., a 100% chance of snow, festive decorations, and holiday lighting on the SkyWheel. Santa will be available for pictures in his tent after arriving from the North Pole. This event is proudly covered by WMBF News, with special features like their weather truck, which allows kids to create their own Winter Wonderland forecast.
